  My husband and I stayed here for a week in mid-February. Our stay was wonderful! The views were amazing and we had a very relaxing vacation. We greatly enjoyed seeing the wildlife (coyotes, rabbits) and the view of the sunrise was amazing. It even snowed while we were here! We will be back!

  For a few years now, we have taken our grandson on spring break adventures and have always looked for vacation rentals that offer comfortable accommodations for the 3 of us. VillaNora was by far, the best yet! The 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms are separated by the kitchen, dining and spacious living area, which guaranteed us mutual privacy. The grounds are wonderful! Interesting plantings and garden art, several locations for lounging, the spa, and gentle creatures like rabbits and quail provide a relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing. The proximity to Joshua Tree National Park is a real bonus! We took some great hikes there and stopped the car several times to check out the desert-in-bloom displays in the southern section of the park. Our grandson's top 3 adventures were The Living Desert Zoo & Botanical Gardens, the Joshua Tree trails, and the Aerial Tramway lunch & hike. Our faves were the same...but I'd top the list with finishing our day at our home away from home! Thanks to Nora for sharing her lovely home and to Anja for her warm welcome and helpful advice on local attractions.

  While you look down to the town of Yucca Valley, you will feel secluded in this lovely home and surrounding garden. The home itself is comfortable and since my elderly Mom came along I was happy that there were no stairs. Surprisingly, the day we arrived it was snowing, so we made use of the fireplace! The weather gradually warmed and within a couple days were were sitting by the hot tub to catch the sun. It is only a short drive to Joshua Tree Park which was fabulous! Grocery stores are nearby as well. Anja greeted us and checked in to make sure that we were doing well. Palm Springs is 30-40 min away so you can easily drop down for the day. That said, I am so glad we stayed here and not down in Palm Springs. Everything in the listing was accurate.

  We spent a fantastic week at Villa Nora. It was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. Its location is stunning - it really is on top of a hill - providing total privacy and great views. A wide variety of shops are just a skip and a jump down the hill - we actually walked to the grocery store (but I did have to lie down after walking back up the hill). Joshua Tree National Park is a 10 minute drive away. We previously rented in Joshua Tree but the great facilities and value of Villa Nora far outweigh the short drive! We found ourselves torn between spending the day in the Park or simply hanging out in the beautiful garden watching the woodpeckers, rabbits and quail. Just as welcoming as the views was Anja who greeted us upon our arrival, gave us a tour and answered all our questions. She made our stay that much better!

  Wir haben im September zehn Tage im Haus verbracht und uns ausgesprochen wohl gefuehlt. Die Lage ist wunderschön, man sieht auf die Berge und hinunter auf die Stadt. Zu weit von der Stadt ist es aber nicht, gerade weit genug damit es schön ruhig ist. Das Haus hat unsere Erwartungen mehr als erfuellt. Wir fuehlten uns da sofort zu Hause. Es ist gepflegt, schoen eingerichtet und alles was man braucht ist vorhanden! -Die Betten sind frisch bezogen, die Bäder sauber, kuschelige Handtuecher sind genuegend da - auch fuer den Pool. -Die Kueche ist komplett ausgestattet mit Kaffeemaschine,Mikrowelle,Geschirr... -Die Waschmaschine und der Trockner sind betriebsbereit. -Das Wohnzimmer ist geraeumig und gemuetlich. Man kann am Kamin zusammen sitzen oder sich mit einem Buch oder Laptop in einer der gemuetlichen Ecken zurueckziehen. Wir haben den Pool und die Jacuzzi mit Genuss benutzt, in der Kueche mit Lust gekocht und abends auf der Terrasse die Sterne angesehen. Fuer Ausfluege zum Joshua Tree National Park ,Big Bear und zur Salton Sea liegt das Haus einfach ideal. Es war einfach wunderbar!

  This ultra cool property is everything it claims to be! Super CLEAN, comfortable, modern, well-stocked, awesome location! The bedrooms are amazing & comfortable with super soft sheets, the baths are clean works of art, spacious with luxury towels, the kitchen has everything to cook a great meal and opens to the living area that is perfect for gathering friends. The private patio & pool area away from the noisy crowds allows you to relax and lounge all day in total privacy & comfort. The views of the mountains are amazing too! The house is amazing, the town is so cool. If you want to experience a wonderful, relaxing time stay here! The managers are really great to work with! thank you. nora and anja

  The description of the property was accurate but when we got there we couldn't believe the gorgeous views! The owner was really easy to work with. We had a birthday party to go to in Pioneertown and found it to be a very short drive to Pappy and Harriets. We would definitely recommend this house to our friends and family.

  Amazing home inside and out. We spent our days in the pool surrounded by nature and our nights by the fire with a blanket of stars above. Although we spent most of our time outdoors the house itself was an ideal desert dwelling with all the necessary accommodations and more. We will definitely be back in the winter to enjoy the jacuzzi and indoor fireplace. Perfect retreat and an amazing price.

  This was our first time staying in Yucca, we usually rent in Joshua Tree. We will be definitely be coming back. Secluded home perched high above the desert. Relaxing in the pool surrounded by nature during the day and sitting by the out door fire pit at night looking up at a blanket of stars. Comfortable desert home with all the necessary accommodations and fresh air flowing through out. And the price was right as well! We did not want to come back home.
