Cozy Weekend Get Away!

We had an enjoyable stay at the cabin, which was stocked with everything we needed! For the first weekend in May, we were not expecting snow, but had a wonderful cozy weekend at the cabin and nearby hiking trails (in snowshoes which were available at the cabin). With the entrance to Longs Peak trail minutes away, the cabin location is wonderful for those wanting to hike and explore areas nearby. Lily Lake trail is also quick to access. We actually enjoyed these two areas close to the cabin more than driving over to Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park trails....as they were more crowded. Awesome views from every room in the cabin, and with a cozy upstairs area for reading or additional guests. Very nice having washer and dryer at the cabin, after hiking and the wet/snow covered trails. There are several sitting areas (that we were even able to access in the snow!) for relaxing outside down below the cabin. We didn't hear any cars pass on the road the entire time we were there. Very quiet, peaceful, and relaxing place to stay.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

Magical! That's how we describe this place. We couldn't have imagined a better place to spend our 30th wedding anniversary. This cabin truly is enchanted. From the moment we drove up the driveway with the beautiful snow falling, we knew we were in for a special week. The views are breathtaking, the cabin is very clean and stocked with anything anyone would need, and the fireplace added a romantic glow. There are 10 acres of beauty and peacefulness here. It's wonderfully secluded yet it's a quick drive to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. The owners have been wonderful to work with. They were friendly and informative when we were making arrangements for our visit but have given us complete privacy during our stay. We highly recommend staying here! It will create memories for a lifetime!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Absolutely exceptional! I would highly recommend this cabin! Our stay was perfect! Location can't be beat...secluded yet close enough to town. The cabin is truly "enchanted" and the owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome and personal touches are evident all throughout the cabin. The owners have the cabin stocked with any possible item plus some! We were sad to leave but will definately be back!!!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Clean, charming, perfect for 6-8 people. Modern kitchen appliances, washer and dryer. Well stocked kitchen - pots adn pans, blender, coffee maker, crock pot, toaster... We were able to easily get groceries at the Safeway (sign up for the club card when you check out to save $$) and cook at the cabin. Comfortable beds. Lots of games, movies, books, even a pack-n-play for kids. Incredibly beautiful location - gorgeous views from the many well placed windows. Can hike right around the cabin. Friendly owners. Very private and feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, yet only about a 10 minute easy drive to Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. The nearby Lily Mountain trail is a must hike - start early in the morning - incredible vews at the top.Recommended for: Adventure seekers, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Nothing could have improved our stay at this amazing cabin outside Estes Park. The property itself was secluded enough to feel like we were getting away from it all but convenient enough to the town of Estes Park so that we could easily run in for groceries, dinner out, shopping, etc. We stayed at the cabin for a full week with our two grown boys with the intention of hiking and sightseeing as well as hoping to try some fly fishing and rafting. We were able to begin some hikes right from the property or drive down the road a mile or two for others. And, of course, as we got more acclimated to the elevation, we took on some major hikes in nearby Rocky Mountain National Park. We played disk golf at the YMCA in the Rockies and learned to fly fish with a guide from Estes Park Mountain Shop (ask for Jonathan). The cabin itself had everything we could have asked for and more. Our hosts had the cabin in pristine condition upon our arrival and a sweet note waiting for us. They had the basics for cooking and doing laundry as well as some toiletries in case we'd forgotten anything. With two bedrooms and a bath downstairs and additional sleeping areas and bathroom upstairs, we were able to spread out when we needed some privacy and able to congregate in the living room, kitchen, and deck when we wanted to be together. Having the ability to prepare our meals, including packing lunches for our hikes, made our stay so much easier. Being able to wash our dirty hiking clothes was invaluable. We can't say enough about our stay. The pictures of the property do not do it justice. The views from the cabin deck and rooms were amazing. We couldn't see another home from the property and saw maybe 2 vehicles go by over the course of the week. This was our first experience renting a property online and must say it couldn't have been better. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking to get away from it all but still wanting the conveniences of home. Many thanks to the owners for an amazing week.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

Diane and Christian's cabin is a lovely place. It feels quite secluded with the nearest neighbors several hundred yards away. Views of the mountains and sky are wonderful. We spent a lot of time on the deck listening to birdsong (hummingbirds came to check us out every once in a while). The amenities are in great shape, clean, comfortable, every bit as advertised. Diane was available by phone and super friendly when I had a question. We hiked Old Storm trail to Estes Cone.... spectacular! Highly recommended to families or small groups of friendsRecommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

Our family enjoyed the cabin, the views, the hikes and the peacefulness very much. Our in-laws from Spain came with us and they loved it. We are already planning on coming back. There were little details like notes and set dinner table that made it so welcoming. Our thanks to the owners. You made our stay memorable.Recommended for: Sightseeing, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

My family of 5 plus 3 extended family members truly enjoyed our stay here in late September. The area was very beautiful that time of year and there were so many things to do nearby yet the cabin (which I would call more than a cabin - I would love to live there year round!) was a perfect base for our exploring as well as an excellent place to hang out, relax and enjoy the views, sounds & smells of the forest. We will be back at our earliest opportunity. The owners were a delight to work with as well.Recommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

This cabin was truly amazing. Inside, the cabin was clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. Outside, it was very well maintained and the views are amazing. It was everything we were looking for in a rental property and the owners were responsive and great to work with, even helping us out when we had some transportation issues! We enjoyed great hiking nearby (Estes Cone and RMNP), horseback riding, and just spending time at the cabin with our family. Overall, it was a wonderful vacation and we will definitely stay at the "enchanted cabin" in the future.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
