This 1/2 duplex which sits on the Roaring Fork River enjoys the best location in Aspen with easy walking access to downtown shopping and dining (2 blocks), 5 blocks from the Gondola (and a free shuttle that stops every 15 minutes right outside the front door), and 1 block from the local's favorite Smugglers Mountain hiking trail.
The house features 2 master suites, each having its own deck over looking the river with beautiful Ajax mountain views. The 2 other bedroom have a combined 6 beds. There is also a great room (which includes the kitchen, living, and dining room spaces) which opens up to a 3rd deck with a dining table and BBQ on the river with great mountain views.
We have enjoyed many years with our children and our friends in this well-loved comfortable home returning to a lovely dinner on the deck after hiking or biking or listening to music or lectures during the summer days and many cozy nights by the fireplace after great winter ski days. We always say that our deck is the nicest restaurant in town....sipping a drink while surround by magnificent views and the lull of the roaring river.
