  My sweet wife said this was her dream wedding - it was amazing!! We had most of the family down (13 of us), and everyone loved it. We had about six teenage boys, who loved the pool, the beach, and being able to hang out downstairs with video games. Our three pre-teens loved being so close to a pool and the beach - they would swim in one, then the other, and had a blast chasing crabs and sting rays all along the beach. Most of all, it was the perfect setting for marrying the most amazing woman in the world - Nov 3rd, 2012.

  This house is awesome. What a get away, comfortable, close to the beach, swim and sun all day and come home to a refereshing pool to relax before dinner. The new smoker BBQ was awesome, used it every night with fresh fish from Bon Secour just 20 minutes away. Will return soon hoepfully, it will always be our choice of beach homes in the future. Weather was picture perfect, thankfully left three days before the big hurricance hit.

  For those who prefer the quiet Fort Morgan area over Gulf Shores......this is the place. House is in a great location. It is 200 feet from the white sand beaches and just 5 steps from your own private pool. During our stay the beaches were nearly empty even with the perfect weather. Even with the beach to ourselves we still loved the pool. Spent many hours on the pool deck and in the water. The house has everything you need to enjoy your stay but most of all it had plenty of room. We had 6 people in our party and it could have slept another 6 easily. We enjoyed the wall of windows facing the ocean. The kitchen table and living room offer a great view. Overall the house was clean, quiet, and comfortable. Home owners were easy to work with and very accommodating. We will stay here again.

  My family (10 adults, 2 children & 1 baby) stayed at Sunny Surfside on Labor Day Weekend. It is a great beach house, with many large windows to view the ocean. Great large kitchen and living space. There are plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. Everythings was clean and well maintained. The screened areas are nice with the most wonderful pool. It was the right size for all 13 of us. The owner is very nice and very helpful. She was available to answers all our questions. We would love to come back and would recommend this property.

  It;s not often that you find a place where a family of 10 adults and 5 children under age 8 can have a peaceful vacation, but we found it here at Sunny Surfside. Though the weather played havoc with us a little, and I do mean a little, we had a wonderful time. Even on the indoor times, we had a Monopoly game going, choices of books and a great kitchen for our family chefs. Sunny Surfside was everything that we had hoped it was and we had almost instant responses to any questions we had along the way. The swimming pool was wonderful! We could not imagine our vacation without it. We visited nearby Dauphin Island, visited the Estuarium, and even took a day trip to see a Pensacola Blue Wahoos game We tried out several restaurants as well and especially enjoyed the Oyster House.. We certainly do recommend Sunny Surfside as first choice in Gulf Shores Alabama.

  Our stay at Surf Side Shores Resort was wonderful! We had a family of 12 with 5 adults, 2 teens and 5 children 10 and under! There was plenty of room for everyone, we were never too crowded. The house was beautifully furnished inside and out. One of the great features for the children was a huge chalkboard and game room. They had a great time writing and drawing on the board what they saw at the beach each day. The children also loved the swimming pool. It was very convenient when the baby went down for a nap the children to still got to play.The kitchen was grand, we ate there every night! The best thing was the view of the gulf! God is so awesome with His creation! The weather was perfect. We saw sting rays, dolphins and caught many crabs but let them go! The home had everything and the owner was very thoughtful to check to see if we needed anything. I am going to recommend this home to all my family and friends!

  Our group consisted of Four couples and one single. Each couple had private bedrooms and there was ample space to house more people. There were no bathroom hold ups as the house had bathrooms on both levels. There were Two small grocery stores within a couple of miles and also a couple of places to dine. The house is very well stocked so pack your groceries and everything else is at the house. The beach is a stones throw and an easy walk for any age. The house was very clean and well laid out. Beautiful pool, patio and view. My sister and brother in law had travelled from overseas and they were very happy indeed with the house. I would certainly rent this house again.

  We absolutely loved our stay at Surfside! We had 10 adults, 1 toddler, 2 babies & there was plenty of room for everyone. The playroom was an added bonus. We also used the hammock & hammock swing a lot. We loved the large dinner table & had lots of fun around it. The pool was still a little cold as we were there at the end of March but we still used it. It seems the owners had anticipated our every need & we will definitely be going back.

  I have been visiting the AL coast for 25 years during Feb. but this was our first stay at this wonderful home. This is my favorite neighborhood as we have stayed in other houses. I was there for most of the month and was joined by girlfriends, my husband, our sons and their families. My girlfriends and I only went into Gulf Shores 2 times in 6 days. Everyone just wanted to relax and unwind from daily life. I felt at home the minute I walked in and this feeling continued all month. The owners have made you feel welcome both by their attention to detail and also in every communication we had with them. I especially love the neighborhood- great place to walk either on the beach or around the blocks. Beach access is close and views are wonderful. I love to cook and found the kitchen well stocked and easy to work in. Many seafood meals were enjoyed by all. It being Feb we couldn't enjoy the pool but did enjoy sitting around it. The house is spacious and therefore relaxing- easy to find a corner or porch to have some quiet time. It is truely a great house to fill with laughters, good friends, families, good food and one you will want to make memories in. Can't wait until next Feb.

  The house has several porches, so if you go with a large group, there is a place to sit and read or relax in peace. The house is very clean and organized. Spacious, and well laid out. Beautiful views from anywhere in the house. Having a great house like this adds so much more enjoyment to your getaway. Plenty to do without leaving the house or dive into the binder full of brochures, maps, facts and suggestions for a great getaway.
