Glass from ceiling to floor on 2 sides of the home eliminates any obstacle to soaking in the beauty and splendor of the ocean in every sensory receptacle you possess. Ocean view from every single room in the house. The open floor plan allows the optimum enjoyment of family and friends whether cooking, eating or in the living area while maintaining privacy in the bed / bath areas.
One bedroom has a loft bed (accessible only by ladder) with a player piano. The second has a flotation bed with a small library. The upstairs master bedroom has 2 sinks in the bathroom and a tub shower, all with a view of Hare Creek Bay.
All Bedrooms have whitewater views. The house is heated with radiant floor heating throughout and a free standing fireplace for ambiance in the living area.
For your entertainment there is Satellite TV, DVD, CD player with tuner, IPOD docking station.. The spa seats 6 comfortably and there is a cement BBQ'ing area.
This is a house you will always want to come 'home' to.
**SPECIAL NOTE** Due to its steep location on the cliffs, children under age 12 are NOT allowed. Please give age of children when inquiring.

We have stayed in this home for the last 10 years in every season. It is the most comfortable house we have ever rented because the floors are heated and we walk around barefoot in total comfort and a wood fireplace completes the romantic getaway.The floor to ceiling windows and ocean front hot tub allow you to really experience the ocean in total isolation. A gourmet kitchen, nearby 24 hour grocery stores and nearby Noyo Harbor with fresh caught fish means we have never gone hungry. The owners just put in a beautiful redwood stained glass door and keep the house updated on a regular basis. We highly recommend this fabulous homeRecommended for: Sightseeing, people with disabilities, girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

I cannot say enough good things about Seashine. My husband and I have stayed here for our anniversary weekend for the last 3 years. I would not stay anywhere else in the Ft. Bragg/Mendocino area. The home itself is absolutely gorgeous. Perched on a cliff overlooking the ocean, it is magical. So many windows, too, so even while you're inside, you feel part of the nature. The hot tub outside is the ultimate place to relax and listen to the waves crashing below. If you can tear yourself away from the gorgeous views, the location of Seashine is great. It's within walking distance to the town center of Ft. Bragg. Also a short (10 min) drive to Mendocino. We enjoyed exploring both towns very much. During our first visit, we expected to be dirving to Mendocino more often during our stay, but found that there are plenty of cool shops and restaurants right in Ft Bragg. On more recent visits, we have spent most of our time in Ft. Bragg. But honestly, you will be happy staying here even if you never leave the house.Recommended for: Girls getaway, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We came to relax and unwind. This was the perfect house for this. The weather was a little dreary but we didn't care. We watched the rain while sitting by the fire. We read our books and cooked a pot of chowder. We watched movies and drank wine. A lovely time! The hot tub on the deck, overlooking the ocean is fabulous!! Kim, at the office, was very helpful, with ideas for beaches in the area and restaurants. We will definitely return.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, romantic getaway, age 55+.
