This was my 4th visit to Dauphin Island but first time I stayed an entire month or stayed in this house. The house location is nearly perfect, with a great view of the beach, nice canal out back, and short walk to the bay. It's halfway between town and the far west end. The house is warm and inviting, very spacious with a great floor plan and well appointed kitchen. Nightly sunsets were the norm. When the waves kicked up, the surfers were out. At the time I thought "Who needs Hawaii!". People were fishing off the beach and catching. I watched a man bring in a 30+ pound drum, then release it. After a night of storms (Christmas night), shelling on the beach was more than I've ever experienced. There were many birds around, mostly shorebirds at the beach and swimming and hanging around the canal. Great Blue Herons were numerous. There were clear skies for New Year's eve and the moon reflected beautifully in the canal. I took photos of the Orion constellation. We even watched the space station fly over a couple of nights. Buddy and Angie are wonderful people and hosts. I was warmly welcomed to local events such as the town Christmas caroling under the water tower and painting with a local group of ladies. I spent lots of time painting at the beachhouse as there is a spacious island counter. The dining room is lovely, and table doubled as a table for making jigsaw puzzles. I did lots of cooking and grilling. The gas grill downstairs is outstanding. I drove to Tilman's Corner to the Walmart a couple of times to stock up but the local Ship and Shore store has all the basic necessities. I've booked to go back but during the summer this time. I'm looking forwarding to sitting at the beach, sipping on a drink, and just relaxing. I plan to kayak in the canal and lay out on the hammock. Thanks Buddy and Angie for sharing your home with us.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

The pictures and reviews can not do Endless Summer justice. It has to be experienced to understand why everyone loves it so much. The house is wonderful and the hosts are even more so. At the end of our stay, no one wanted to leave. Buddy and Angie, we can't wait until next year. Thank you so much for a truly relaxing, memorable and enjoyable stay.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

Our whole family loved the time we spent on Dauphin Island. The home was beautiful, comfortable, and stocked with everything you need. The owners, Buddy and Angie, were gracious, friendly hosts. It was a very laid back week of vacation. If you want to get away from it all and relax, this is the place! We have already decided we will be returning to "Endless Summer" in the future.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

This house is so beautiful and so clean. It was very roomy and we felt like we were at home! The beach is just steps away...so easy to get to....and watching the ocean from the front porch was so relaxing each morning and evening......there are just not enough words to describe how perfect this house is.....and finally....BUDDY and ANGIE......they are the nicest people....from day 1 I felt like I was visiting my grandparents for the week...these people make you feel so welcome and truly make you feel like family! Thank you Buddy and Angie for making us feel so comfortable in your home. You will not regret staying at Endless Summer! This is the only place for me on Dauphin Island....We have found our favorite place to vacation and we will be back every year.Recommended for: Age 55+, romantic getaway.

This was our second time staying on the island, but our first time staying at "Endless Summer". We absolutely will stay here again! It's perfect for family members of all ages. There's lots of room and the house is beautiful! The canal behind the house is perfect for fishing and crabbing. The beach was just across the street and very convenient. We had the pleasure of meeting the owners, Bud and Angie, when we attended a church bake sale and garage sale that they invited us to at their church. They were so welcoming and we enjoyed meeting them very much. They made us feel right at home. We will definitely be staying here in the future! Loved it!Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

I did not want to leave. This home is so beautiful, comfortable and relaxing. It was everything listed and so much more. As mentioned before the decor was so unique and looked like a display home. We saw daulphins every day in the Gulf. Buddy and Angie showed us true southern hospitality. I would recommend staying here to anyone. There were more than enough attractions close by but it was wonderful to just sit on the deck and watch the water. Wish I was still there.....Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

We vacation yearly, but I have to say this house was by far the most beautifully decorated one we`ve ever stayed in. Felt like we had walked into a home decor magazine. Being slightly disabled, the fact that the beach was directly across the strret was real bonus. On the days I didn`t make it to the beach, just sitting on either one of the decks and seeing, hearing and smelling the ocean/bay was fantastic. Exploring the island was such fun..so many interesting things to see and do. Love the goat trees! Y`all were so friendly and sweet to us and the kids...felt almost like visiting friends. By the way..what was that paint color again..something Butter Maple? I have only one small suggestion..we would love to have been able to sign a guest book w/comments and hints on good eating places, best shops, etc. Always fun to read other people`s notes and ideas as well Thank you for sharing your homes w/us and for being so welcoming. The kids want to come back just to see y`all..Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, people with disabilities, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, girls getaway, romantic getaway, sightseeing.

My husband and I wanted to spend our 30th wedding anniversary with our kids, son in laws and grandkids at a beach house for some quality family time. We found the perfect place in endless summer.. The house is gorgeous, clean ,well maintained and in a perferct location. Our sons and sons in law crabbed and fished on the dock right outside the back door. The gulf beach was within view from the spacious front porch and you could hear the waves crashing from the comfortable rockers there. The sound was an easy walk too. We even saw dolphins one morning while relaxing with our coffee. Angie and Buddy were the most accomodating hosts. They made us feel like family rather than renters. Two of the friendliest people I have ever met. Our kids said we picked the "perfect place" for our family getaway, and we have to agree. We will be making it a tradition and returning to ":Endless Summer" every year.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway, romantic getaway.

This was our first trip to dauphin island and it was great. This property is wondeful. It is everthing and more as described. The owners are great people and make you feel more like family than vacation renter. The house is right across the road from the beach with a great view and only 2 blocks from the bay. Also a canal runs behind the house with a deck that extends over it. You can fish or crab right off the dock. This house is more like a home than a vacation rental. you wont be sorry.Recommended for: Age 55+, families with young children, romantic getaway.
