Seabrook Island (SBI) is a perfect family, couples, golf, or girls get away destination. It is known for its pristine, undeveloped, quiet atmosphere, beautiful, natural beaches and pedestrian/bike friendly community.
Do as much or as little as you want while on the island. Fill each day with all the island and Charleston area has to offer or choose to simply do nothing… kick back and enjoy this comfortable, corner cottage with plenty of outdoor decks, screened porches, and hammock!
About the cottage.....
Our three bedroom free-standing cottage is airy, bright, fresh and clean. No surprises when you open the door! The kitchen is well-equipped and an easy gathering place. It includes a center island peninsula and washer and dryer. The newly decorated master bedroom with king size bed, new linens, and private bath opens to the screened porch. Two guest bedrooms, each with twin beds and new linens are on the opposite side of the house and share a full bath. The bedrooms are separated from the great room by French doors to allow guests privacy. The dining/great room with working fireplace leads to a newly decorated screened porch with additional seating and dining areas.
Two flat-screen televisions, board games, books, cards, I-pod docking station, charcoal and gas grills ,three bikes, beach chairs, umbrella, and toys make it an easy beach vacation.
Free Wireless Internet access is available and ready for those who want or need “to stay connected!'
Plenty of storage and parking are available on the property. Linens(with the exception of beach towels) and cleaning fees are included in most rental agreements.
We are an easy walk/bike ride to Pelican Beach & beach club; easy drive to North Beach.
About the island and area....
This gated community offers three miles of pristine, wide uncrowded beaches, biking, exceptional golf, tennis, equestrian facilities. The outdoor enthusiast can enjoy fishing, crabbing, boating, and accessible nature trails and boardwalks.Seabrook's landscape is lush oaks, well-manicured common grounds, and abundant wildlife. Picturesque docks and creeks make kayak, sailboat, and canoe an easy launch.
Other perks enjoyed by our guests include beach bonfires in the evening; dolphin watching at sunset; and sea turtle patrol outings. We are happy to share the 'how-to' specifics with you!
Located immediately outside the main gate is Bohicket Marina with dock-side restaurants, recreational opportunities and island amenities. Freshfields Village shared by Seabrook and Kiawah Islanders is where you will find upscale shops, excellent grocery store, pharmacy, and a range of additional dining options. During the summer, movies,special events,and farmers markets are held on the outdoor common green!
Nearby farms and docks make locally grown produce and fresh fish easy to purchase.

We just returned from a wonderful week spent in this lovely cottage on Seabrook Island. It proved to be everything as promised in the photographs and description. We have three children, and the two younger ones who shared a bedroom were especially glad to have their own separate twin beds. We also thought the newly renovated bathrooms were beautiful. Before we even left, we were talking about coming back next year. I would enthusiastically recommend this cottage. Compared to some of the other SI cottages we looked at online, this one was just as well equipped and one of the more affordable.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, girls getaway.

I travelled from Northern Virginia with my girlfriend and her mom for a relaxing break but also to visit my girlfriends stepfather who is in assisted living in Mount Pleasant. This limited the time we had to spend on the island but the cottage was a wonderful place to return to in the evenings. We spent most of our time on the screened in porch. The photographs of the property accurately reflect the layout and decor, but it is only when you are there that you truly appreciate the location and the level of thoughtful detail that has gone into equipping this property The property was spotless and it was good not have to load the car up with beach chairs and umbrellas etc as they were already there. We did get out and cycle in the area again on the bikes provided at the property. For shopping we used the Newton Farms store at Freshfields just outside the security gate. Not the cheapest place you'll ever shop but the choice and quality is tremendous. If you get as far as Mount Pleasant or even want to make the short drive from Downtown Charleston, we liked the restaurants at Shem Creek on route 703. Our particular favorite was The Waters Edge but Vickerys was also good too. Ideal people watching location and right by the water as the name suggests. All in all a wonderful week and if we return to the area will certainly book this property again.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children.

We had an amazing long weekend in this cottage! We loved the spacious screened porch and ate many of our meals out there! It was sooooo peaceful! The kids really enjoyed themselves on the bikes too. We hope to return next year!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, families with young children, girls getaway.

From the overhanging live oak trees with spanish moss draping the limbs upon approaching the property, to the well appointed interior, our family was completely enthralled. The listed description as well as the accompanying photos were thoroughly accurate in describing a superbly clean, comfortable abode that allowed space for meals, play, reading, relaxing, and snoozing. It didn't take our family of four long to find our favorite beach spot with the biggest waves to utilize the boogy and skimmer boards provided, or the egret roost off Jenkins Pt. with the bicycles available in the garage area. We would all highly recommend this property and the Seabrook world to anyone seeking a comfortable, serene, beach vacation especially over the 4th of July so as not to miss the community sponsored parade with the innumerable patrioticly decorated dogs, kids, and vehicles. Thank you owners for a wonderful week.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway.
