This luxurious executive beachfront villa: Casa Del Mare is an exceptional home --- custom built for the owner in 2003 offering 5,400 square feet of living space. Located directly on the beach, with a private walkway and beach lounge on the sand. This beautifully furnished, non-smoking, Italian villa features custom painted walls, five spacious bedrooms, including a master suite, three and a half baths, accommodating up to 16 persons, a full-service laundering area and the convenient use of an elevator. The well-equipped kitchen with granite counter tops and stainless appliances opens to a stunning great room/living area with fireplace and dining room. Two oceanfront private lanai's offer unlimited ocean views on the main floor and exclusive use for the master suite. A third lanai is street front, overlooking the village atmosphere of Carillon Beach.
Supremely comfortable, the master suite and two bedrooms are situated on the top floor and two additional bedrooms are conveniently located on the first floor. This spacious master suite has a king size poster bed, a private living area with fireplace, an over sized marbled bathroom featuring a double-sink vanity, separate shower/steam room and deep soaking Jacuzzi tub for two. Also, a private oceanfront lanai furnished with hammock and lounge chairs captivating sweeping ocean views and sunsets. The second bedroom has a king bed with private entrance to a shared granite/marble bathroom featuring a double-sink vanity and deep soaking tub. The third bedroom has a day bed with pull out trundle, which sleeps two. The fourth bedroom has twin beds, which can convert into a king bed. The room is uniquely painted with an Egyptian theme. It shares a large bath with the 5th bedroom that has two queen beds.
Additional accommodations may be available at Casa Del Mare's detached Cottage, which is nestled parallel to the main home. Perfect for couples or a small family (maximum of 4 guests). Casa Del Mare's Cottage is 1 Bdrm./1 Bath with it's own private entrance, street front lanai and a convenient efficiency walk-over to main house (if applicable). This adorable cottage offers 450 square feet of living space, equipped with a kitchenette, a queen bed and sofa sleeper. Adjacent to 30-A Florida's scenic highway, Carillon is an upscale resort gated community with patrolling security located within steps of Carillon Beach, Downtown Carillon 3(shops and restaurants), Lake Powell and bicycle paths in the heavily landscaped development. Carillon's featured amenities include three pools, two tennis courts, kiddies pool, basketball/sport court, and bicycle rental. Enjoy live music Downtown at ''Grooving on the Green'' on Wednesdays during summer. Beach chair service is included (March 1- October 15) for your pleasure, which includes two chaise lounge chairs and a large beach umbrella.

Wow! Words and pictures don't do this palace justice! Four families with kids ranging from 5-15 stayed here for a week during our national dance competition. We were the envy of our large dance group from Oklahoma! Everyone felt cozy and right at home in this amazingly beautiful mansion on the beach with unmatched decor, amenities, and comforts. Breathtaking views are found right out the back door with expansive covered patios, ample deck chairs, and loungers on two levels, not to mention the perfectly situated hammock off the master suite. While many beaches around Panama City are crowded with throngs of people, this beach was so sparsely populated that we thought it was private! We were pleasantly surprised to find surf boards, boogie boards, beach chairs, etc., in storage for our personal pleasure, as well! All previous comments about the private gated community being safe and secure are totally accurate, as well. We had no qualms with our kids walking to the candy shop or biking around the quaint streets. Breathtaking views and landscaping abound. And when Tropical Storm Debby arrived for the last few days of our trip, the kids were completely satisfied with the wide open, cozy spaces and entertainment options throughout the house. Perfectly situated between Panama City and Destin, this location provided the perfect starting point for trips to both major tourist destinations and all the quaint seaside hamlets in between (like Rosemary Beach, Seaside, Watercolor, Santa Rosa Beach and Grayton Beach). The ladies found days worth of amazing shopping venues, while the dads and kids found plenty of deep sea fishing, snorkeling, parasailing, etc., all within a short drive. The extracurricular activities paled in comparison, though, to the lazy, restful times spent lounging around the house and on the beach out our back door. The rental price paid was well worth the pampered relaxation that welcomed us home each day. From total zen to extreme play, let Jim and his crew pamper you in luxury and give your family memories that will last a lifetime! We will definitely be back!Did you find this review helpful? Jim has the most beautiful home. Seven ladies enjoyed the life of luxury and serenity as we sat on the porches and talked until the sun was long gone. The pictures of the home really did not show how beautiful the home really was. The custom paint and furnishings were far beyond our expectations and everything we needed was there for our use. There was even an elevator so we did not have to carry our baggage up to the third floor.The gated community was perfect for afternoon walks or bike rides and the pool was only a few doors away. We loved the cozy village of Carillon and we felt so safe there, The home is close to shopping, grocery and restaurants but we were so in love with the home we just wanted to stay there and frolic on the beach. Thanks for a great stay. We have told so many people about your home and strongly recommend your place to everyone we see. We can't wait to come back next time.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+, families with teenagers.

we had a great stay with a few couples with kids, even though the weather was not great, we soooo enjoyed the house... you can sit on the porch and literally feel the mist of the water, its so close to the beach! Jim, the owner is very nice and super accomodating... beautiful gated exclusive neighborhood with pub, shops, playground, and 2 pools...we cant wait to go back for better weather!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We took 2 families with a total of 6 children. The house was absolutely amazing! This pictures do not do it justice!! Jim met us there and gave us a tour. We also ran into him at the store he owns. I can not say enough about how welcome we felt. He made us feel like guests in his home (which is pretty much the truth!!). The house is exquisite with breath taking views. The community that it is located in makes you feel as though you have stepped back in time. It is gated so we felt very safe. Our children rode their bikes (and some we rented from Jim's store!) with no worries! The pools are wonderful, especially the one that is right on the beach! Our hope is to make this our destination every summer. If you are looking for a great place to relax, this is it...just save us a week each summer!!Recommended for: Tourists without a car, girls getaway, romantic getaway, families with teenagers.

About the owner: I have lived in the Panama City Beach for over 30 years, and own resort retail stores in the area, called Shipwreck Ltd., and Shipwreck Shirts. In fact, the store in the Carillon Downtown market place is my store. I travel extensively , purchasing items for my stores, and in the winter I spend considerable time in Maui, Hawaii.

I purchased the land , and had the home custom built to my specifications. Carillon Beach is one of the worlds most beautiful communities, with a mile of sugar white beaches, beautiful landscaping, secure and quiet. There is nothing quite like watching the beautiful sunsets from your own living room and deck! It is also centrally located to restaurants and entertainment in the area, only minutes from other beach communities along hwy 30-A, Destin, and Panama city beach
