Michael has thought of everything and made us feel right at home in his luxury cabin on the Russian River. Tucked among the redwoods, the cabin has been remodeled using the best materials, fixtures and accessories. We had a wonderful stay and can't wait to return!

I scheduled a girls' weekend here for wine tasting and relaxation over President's Day weekend. The house was clean, well-stocked, and wonderfully furnished. The hot tub was a nice treat, and our stay was very pleasant. (The driveway is a little scary/steep, and there are a lot of stairs leading up to the place, so just be aware of that going into it and you'll be very happy!)

An absolute jewel! The space is small, but so much thought has been put into all the details! The space was perfect for our girls' weekend away. Set into a hill, once you are in the house, it feels very private and secluded. We took advantage of the decks, and, of course, the hot tub! The owner is helpful, and very prompt with communication.

We had a great time staying here, the cabin is really cute and cosy. There were 4 of us staying here and it was very comfortable. The bedroom with attached bath is separate from the house and we chose not to use it. It was really great that they provided the basics, salt, pepper, butter, oil, sugar etc... The oven is SUPER HOT, not ideal for baking cakes or anything that needs exact temperatures, but it was fine for what we were using it for. The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was well stocked with towels. I loved the hot tub and we spend every evening soaking in the rain, it was lovely. We brought our two Labradors with us and they were a little confused by the steep sloped backyard, and in the rain it was slippery. It was raining throughout our stay and we were so grateful to have the yard for the dogs instead of needing to walk them. We loved playing all the games they provided and never even turned on the television, so cannot review that. We had a lovely stay and I would recommend this home to parties of 4 ideally. There is that extra bedroom downstairs, but it feels very separate from the rest of the house (nice for someone that is very private). Be aware that there are a lot of stairs leading up to the property, so take that into consideration. The driveway fits 2 cars comfortably, not sure where else you would park an extra car if you had more.

Nicely remodeled, great utensils, beds, etc. Only struggles were steep parking spot and lots of stairs but good for the exercise!

This is a very nice property. Close to the ocean and wineries. The decore was nice and the kitchen well equipped. The owner was quick with security deposit refund. The only down falls were having to carry my luggage up the stairs and really had to drive everywhere.

We vacationed with another family. In total we had 4 adults, 2 infants, a toddler and a preschooler. It was a snug little home, but beautifully renovated. The pictures show you the entire home, in case you were thinking there might be extra space somewhere. The pictures of the living room were taken right from the little kitchen. We picnicked on the futon and floor, but we had everything we needed (except we couldn't find the garbage bags, as noted by a previous comment). In fact, it was nice being in a snug place because it made clean up easier! When we arrived, we passed the manager who was a sweet woman who took time to show us the house. During the day we took a nice walk to town. There is a little playground on the way and a little street market that Saturday. We also visited the Korbel vineyard and came home to BBQ. Safeway is also 2 miles away in case you forgot anything. I wish there were more young kid activities close by, but all in all, we enjoyed being low key and being able to Jacuzzi after the kids went to sleep.

This Guerneville house is tiny, but is so well laid out it really can accommodate 6-8 people comfortably. We arrived on Friday night to find the stove had been left on (without a flame going) so the entire main floor smelled of propane gas, the owner was attentive and helped in resolving the issue with us. The rest of the weekend was a breeze. The house is well laid out to be easy to keep clean, sweep up and still have plenty of fun. There are a lot of stairs to climb as the home is built into the hill with terraced outdoor decks. One note, the kitchen is small and there is no dining table inside for more than three people - it was not a problem for us because it was a warm night. There is a big picnic table outside on one of the many decks. The house is close to but away from the main part of town. It was nice and quiet in the evening but close enough to get into town for brunch. It is also close to several beaches, miniature golf, and kayak/canoe outfitters. There is no river access on this property but it is close. The owner was responsive both to e-mail and phone calls, communication was clear and direct. I would recommend the property to friends.

Basically the place is very nice and cosy, including board games and cool saloon. Bedrooms are a little bit tight. One thing that needs slight improvement is missing of basic equipment in the kitchen such as garbage bags and even salt pepper and sugar. The house is very close to the small city as well as to the river.

                    Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway.

Owner response: Thanks for the review Alon. The garbage bags are there just sometimes hard to find. We'll put them in a better spot. I will talk with my manager to make sure we have a checklist of those things for future rentals. Hope to see you again in the future.

This cabin was the perfect launching pad for a wine country weekend. We arrived to a clean, organized and well stocked space. There were plenty of towels for showers and extra blankets for those cool nights. A highlight was the comfy beds. All five of us commented how well we slept. The cabin sits up in the trees, allowing for privacy from the homes below. We were within walking distance of the river and town (which were made several trips to). The temperatures over our visit ranged from the low 50's to the upper 90's and the cabin never got too hot or cold. The kitchen was well stocked with utensils, allowing us to prepare a few meals. Mike was very helpful upon making our reservation. In addition to details about the house, he provided restaurant suggestions and a few other pointers about where to find essentials in town. We hit Boon for dinner the first night and the wait was worth it. *There are about 40 steps up to the cabin. While this wasn't a problem for our party, it is something to note if mobility is an issue.
