A new year has started and our continuing upgrades have been completed We have installed all new Pella windows and new double doors to enhance the front foyer as well as new stucco finish on the exterior of the house.The living room has been totally renovated with the addition of two new windows overlooking the pool and backyard. New furniture, carpet and flat screen TV add to the decor of this room and make it the perfect place to relax after a busy day at the beach, pool, golf course or tennis courts. We have upgraded our kitchen with all new flooring, lighting and stainless steel appliances. The eating area has a lovely round table and chairs with seating for six.
Our three bedroom, two bath home at 6 Cockle Court in the quiet Inverness section of Palmetto Dunes Plantation is only a short walk to the beach(about 1/4 mile) and the many amenities of the plantation. Off of the living room room is a spacious formal dining room that seats eight people comfortably. This room opens up to the Carolina room, which features new wall-to-wall windows, a sofa bed, wet bar, and a view of the pool. The pool area is great for entertaining and grilling, or sitting in the jacuzzi and enjoying the sunshine! (There is an added charge for heating the pool and hot tub.) ($700/per week or $100 per day/3day minimum)
All three bedrooms of our home feature king-size beds, and the master suite has a TV and DVD player plus an all new master bath with two pedestal sinks, a granite top cabinet and a large walk in steam shower with dual showerheads. The other two bedrooms are located on the opposite side of the home and share a bath which has also been upgraded with new fixtures and countertop. Both guest bedrooms have flat screen TV's and DVD players.. Our home is the perfect retreat for those that want to get away from it all, and truly have a relaxing Low Country vacation!

We vacationed on Hilton Head Island for many years and enjoyed the warm, friendly atmosphere. We wanted to share this beautiful island with our family and friends.
The Unique Benefits at this House
Our house is very comfortable and the layout is perfect for families with children. The pictures cannot do justice to the size of the interior but it is spacious inside and perfect for a relaxing vacation. The beach is within walking distance and the pool in the yard is great for swimming and enjoying the sun.

This house is truly our home away from home. My husband and I have spent the past two winters here and enjoy it tremendously. The location is perfect. The house is nestled between the Fazio Golf Course and the beautiful ocean. You can walk, or take a short bike ride, to the tennis courts and the General Store - which has the best southern fried chicken on the island! The layout of the house is wonderful. The guest wing is on the opposite side of the house from the master bedroom. The large living room, dining room and kitchen are easy to live in - and the Carolina Room is the favorite of all our guests. We hope to winter here for many years to come!
Recommended for:Girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers.

We just returned from a relaxing and enjoyable two week vacation with our girls and my husbands parents at this home. The location of the home was ideal, quiet, close to the beach and other activities. We truly loved having the private pool, the Carolina room and the spacious rooms to relax in. What a wonderful house! I would highly recommend it to anyone. Using the private swimming pool was great, that is, when we didn't take the very short walk to use the fabulous beach. The Carolina room was our favorite room, well, with the exception of the steam shower in the Master Bath. We're going to have to get one of those for both our houses in Sonoma and Tahoe Donner.
