This charming house was built around the 1930's. The best part about this property is that it is right on the beach. One can go to the beach, easily walk back for lunch or a snack, and return to the beach. There is an outside shower, a second floor deck, and a nice back yard for relaxing and grilling. More than one family can share this house and a wonderful feature is that the kids can all sleep upstairs in the loft and the parents can sleep downstairs in the 3 bedrooms on the first floor. The front porch is a great place to sit and read and watch the beach activity. People are walking to the beach with their surfboards and towels in tow and the ice cream truck makes many stops in front of the house. It is fun to see the children run for their ice creams. This property is next to the beach and in walking distance to surf shops, markets, and kids activities.

We stayed here with two other families - 6 adults, 9 kids. It was PERFECT! Better than described. Totally family friendly and very comfortable. Right on the beach - you can wake up to the sounds of the surf (and see over the dunes from upstairs sleeping area). The best was not ever having to load kids in the car(s) to go to the beach!!! And if any one child needed to go home, it didn't end the day for all. We either walked to the local eateries for meals or cooked in the well stocked kitchen (we had lots of fun grilling!). Super area for a vacation - great shopping and antique stores too. We will definitely be back this summer!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, pet owners, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car.

We were three couples, 5 kids. Plenty of room for all plus more. Loved the house, the beach, the area. A great way to get away with others. Togetherness when you want it, space when you need it! The beach right there and shops and restaurants just a walk away. Loved it. We went with 2 other families, 9 kids and 6 adults. This place was perfect! We had plenty of room. The house was very comfortable, and you can not beat the location. We walked to the beach, the convenience store, and some local shops many times during our vacation. The best part for me was how easy it was to stop back to the house if someone needed a break, or got hungry. It was so convenient. We drove up the charming island one day and really enjoyed the local antique shops. The property is just as described, it was clean and maintained. The owners are very nice and helpful. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers.
