This cottage was the home of our mother--the farm had been our family for over 150 years. We have just completely remodeled the entire house to make it a comfortable getaway for our family and to share with others.
We installed a brand new, oil heating system that keeps the entire house warm--a new kitchen with brand new appliances, new washer and dryer and a beautiful bathroom with the best shower I have ever had in Europe-HOT water and pressure to wash up the dirtiest of us!
Brand new hardwood floors in all living areas and beautiful tile in kitchen, laundry and bathroom. New paint everywhere--inside and out.
There is a fantastic fireplace in the main room with a Connemara marble mantle where you can burn peat to get the aroma that those of us who spent time in our youth in Ireland will never forget.
Two bedrooms have brand new, full size beds. The third bedroom has 2 twins with the ability to convert to a king. We also have a full size futon couch in the main room that can be converted to a double bed.
We are confident you will find this property a great place to relax and enjoy the Irish countryside.
There will be a 80 euro charge for cleaning the cottage--this is less than we pay to have it cleaned, so we share the cost.

About the owner: Son and daughter of mother who grew up in this lovely location. This farm has been in family for over 150 years! Original farm house is still standing behind our 'new' home.
