The condo (#1503 Condo BEach) felt like our home away from home, it was great. We felt very safe and the people staying at the condo were kind and very helpful. Also, the security was great. People in the Bahamas were so friendly and offered help in so many ways, especially when we needed directions etc. in Freeport. We were even approached by a man in Freeport who was making sure we weren't lost. Liz & Don were wonderful in many ways- helpful while we there, easy to reach and very, very kind. I hope this good feed-back for you. We had a wonderfully relaxing vacation!

Excellent condo. Very clean and well appointed. Kitchen had everything needed to prepare simple meals. With the balcony door open, we didn't have the air conditioner on at all. It was great to have wifi included. Just a few steps to the pool, beach and beach bar. Owners were extremely informative and helpful. I'd highly recommend this for a relaxing vacation (you'll never find a more beautiful beach). The staff at Coral Beach are extremely friendly and helpful.

I would highly recommend this property to anyone visiting the Freeport, Lucaya area on Grand Bahama Island. This is a very efficient, clean and well organized studio apartment. The little touches made it seem very homey. It was also nice to see that the building is undergoing some upgrading. We loved that it was just a few steps to both the pool and beach. It is also only about a 20 minute walk to Port Lucaya Marketplace, either on the beach or via Royal Palm way. We would walk there every evening to a different restaurant and then bring the bus back. It was very convenient. We did not take part in any of the activities that the owners suggested as we just wanted to have some beach time. We found some great restaurants at Port Lucaya. Our favorite was Cafe Breeze and Capuccino's early bird special was also excellent. If we are ever back in the Freeport area we would certainly stay there again.

We would highly recommend this unit for many reasons! Working with Don & Liz was extremely easy and they provided so much helpful information upfront (both about their specific condo unit itself, Coral Beach Condo property and even detailed information on things to do/where to eat in Freeport, Grand Bahamas) that it made planning the rest of our holiday so easy. The description of the unit was very accurate - everything was extremely clean, the unit had a good layout and provided everything you would need for an enjoyable stay. You can use the equipment/dishes, etc.. provided in the unit to cook meals yourself or you can eat out at the beach bar located onsite (excellent food & drinks). The location of Coral Beach Condo is central to everything - short 15 minute walk into Lucaya Square where all the action is, close to grocery store and everything is within easy drive. The beach is beautiful - white sand beach, great swimming and snorkelling and just relaxing sunset walks. Would definitely recommend this unit for families, couples, retirees, or friends looking for a nice but relaxing location. We met alot of very nice people there while enjoying all the facilities (pool/beach/beach bar & restaurant).

This was our first trip to the Bahamas and certainly not our last. The condo is exactly as described, ocean view, amazing beach, within walking distance to Port Lucaya with it's many restaurants and shops. The condo to our arrival was immaculate with all the amenities that we needed for our stay. Liz and Don had left us a book with things to do which was very helpful. Gold Rock Beach and the Lucayan National Park is a must see, it's so beautiful. Liz and Don you were very helpful from the moment we sent an email saying we were interested in your condo to the littlest details to make our stay more enjoyable. You guys are as amazing as your condo is. Thank you for an unforgettable experience, one we will cherish forever. Michel & Amy

My husband and I just returned from our 5 year anniversary vacation in the beautiful Bahamas and this condo. Upon arrival Don and Liz checked in to make sure that everything went well with the check-in. You could tell that they really do care about how well their guests vacation goes as they include nearly everything you could possibly need including even a no-charge phone line to call back home in the united States and a separate no-charge line for local calls to restaurants etc.. The condo itself is very quaint and cute with local art and beachy feel a predominant theme. You have your own kitchen with stove and a bottled water machine which feeds nice and cold water. The bed was very comfortable and the small balcony looks out into the gardens below and the ocean. There is a great bar/restaurant right near the beach located at the condo itself. Make sure to visit this place as the food and drinks are really good and the price can't be beat. There is a casual feel to the restaurant and swim/lounging area. This is the place where you want to go if you want to really forget about any stresses. They will easily fall to the wayside as you sip a rum drink and relax with the ocean waves in the background. This beach is hard to beat. The sand is an amazing white powdery sand with no rocks. If you like to swim or drip yourself in the ocean you don't have to worry about getting your feet cut on any rocks as there really are no rocks on this beach or in the water. The water on Grand Bahamas is the most beautiful shade of light blue, turquoise, and medium blue that I have ever seen. If you love clear, beautiful looking water you must visit the Bahamas. If you like activities and things to do you simply can walk along the beach where there are places to rent jet skis, parasail, etc... If you like walking along the ocean a simple 10 minute walk will take you to Port Lucaya and the various shops and restaurants. We really enjoyed our stay on the island and at the Coral Beach Condo and hope to be back someday. Thank you Don & Liz. You really can't beat the value in this condo. We read all of the past reviews before picking this one and we can corfirm that you won't be disappointed if looking for a studio right on the beach. Now... back to reality.

My husband and I just returned from a great 5 night stay. The unit is an easy 10-15 minutes form the airport. The condo is just as pictured and described. It is clean, comfortable ,and well equipped. It was nice to have free phone service for local calls and long distance We had everything we needed including beach chairs and a cooler. We rented a car so we could easily see other beaches and fun beach bars. A trip to the National Park beach is definitely worth it. Be sure to go at low tide when the beaches stretches out about 80 yards. The beach that is steps from the condo is beautiful and we could take long walks in either direction. Liz and Don provided a binder of information and recommendations about restaurants, shops, and other activities. Overall the island is very low key.We did not find much night life, but this is a quiet time of year per the locals. If you like soft white sand beaches with crystal clear water, fun beach shack bars, and nice restaurants this is a great place.

I recently stayed in Liz & Don's condo at Coral Beach with 2 girlfriends for a "girls getaway." The condo was impeccable. The condo accommodated the three of us perfectly. The view from the patio was outstanding as was the restaurant on the condo grounds. The condo was equipped with organized information to allow us to plan tours, entertainment, restaurants, and cab rides. The decor in the condo was very appealing as it is decorated with local art work. I would HIGHLY recommend this unit to anyone and hope to stay there again sometime.

We enjoyed staying at Liz and Don's condo on Coral Beach. They certainly make it convenient...the calls you can easily make to the U.S., the cell phone, the IPOD station, DVD and TV, bottled water, A/C all made our stay very enjoyable. The condo has a view of the ocean from the balcony and Coral Beach is one beautiful and quiet place. I would not call it secluded, but at times, you felt as if the beach was yours. The location is also a short cab ride to the hotels/marketplace. If we were to return to Grand Bahama, we would not want to stay anywhere else. Plus Liz and Don were very good with their communication and follow-up. First class!

Liz's and Don's condo was great - cozy, clean, conveniently situated right at the beach and we have spent 5 wonderful days there. The condo has everything you need (and don't - such as a TV that we did not even turn on once - why should we). Breakfast on the balcony looking at the beach and falling asleep listening to the waves. Just a great week. Highly recommendable.

My husband and I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely Coral Beach condo. The condo was equipped with everything you would possibly need, including chairs to take down to the beautiful white sandy beach. The owners provided excellent!! customer service and supplied us with plenty of information about the local attractions, restaurants etc. The port was a lovely 30 minute walk up the beach to great shopping, restaurants and the casino, and the taxi drivers were extremely friendly and helpful. A wonderful week in the sun! We hope to return very soon and would highly recommend this lovely condo.

My girlfriend and I stayed at this suite in Coral Beach during August 2010, and couldn't have asked for anything more. The condo is steps away from the beach and is so comfortable we really didn't want to leave when it was time to go. The kitchen is very well stocked and the wireless internet and free North America long distance were very convenient. Highly recommended and will definitely return on our next trip to Freeport.

A private, white sand beach. Crystal blue water. A very clean, accomodating condo unit. A view of the ocean. Don and Liz provide everything you need for a relaxing getaway in the Bahamas. Coral Beach is just close enough to the action, but also private enough to make you feel like you're in your own personal paradise. #1503 was clean and quaint, with a gorgeous view of the ocean from the balcony - perfect for a morning cup of coffee. Relaxation was our intention and this unit provided that to perfection. You will feel at home in Liz and Don's condo.

I arrived after a long day of missed flights to find a wonderfully out-fiited condo. It was cozy and my 2 children and I got along just fine in this cozy space. The grounds were safe, the beach was heaven, and the pool / bar/ cafe was delightful. Liz and Don have put a lot of though into making their condo easy to come in to. It was perfectly equipped for just about anything we wanted to do. There is also a lovely view from the balcony. Its a fun family setting and we would definitely would choose to come back again!

This is my first experience with VRBO rentals and I'm extremely pleased with my choice of Liz and Don's condo as an alternative to hotels. Everything that was listed was accurate, their place is extremely clean, updated, nicely decorated and very comfy with a good view of the ocean. Liz and Don are available by phone or email to answer any questions. We're actually in the middle of our vacation but I wanted to put these thoughts down now while it's still fresh. What's great about Liz and Don's place is that you can focus on the great things the island has to offer, like taking a scooter and exploring or the ferry to another beach or spending time at the local shops than spending time at a hotel trying to get the most out of the hotel because of the high price you paid. Liz and Don's condo: A great place for a good price to stay on a beautiful beach to enjoy an island paradise. A nice stroll up the beach and cut through Our Lucaya Hotel and you're in Port Lucaya with all the shopping and restaurants. I tried a local breakfast restaurant I think called After the Deck. Please don't go there, you'll be disappointed. Everyone recommends Zorba's right around the corner from After the Deck and I completely agree with them, less expensive, better quality and great service, what a difference a good breakfast can make for the rest of the day. I rented a scooter and went shopping at the City Mart grocery for when we're tired of restaurant food, drove down to Garden of the Grove for beautiful pictures and the Wednesday Night fish fry has the best fish and is a complete party, music, people enjoying good food. I'm going back on friday too hehehe. The beach at the condo is actually nicer and cleaner than the beach at Taino's, but smaller and with less to do. Nice little ride on the ferry and you're there. I scheduled a jet ski tour that should be nice, not just run up and down the beach but up the canal and watching the dolphin experience and viewing Millionaire's Row. The restaurant at the condo, The Coral Reef, I would suggest you go there only if you're in the mood for light meals and have no other choice. I'm scheduled for horseback riding with Tripp stables on Monday and I plan on actually hanging out at the condo just to rest at some point. With the gym, beach, pool, restaurant right at the condo, I don't have to leave here to do anything b

Dined at Pier One twice and just enjoyed the culture.Went snorkelling out at Paradise Cove- amazing! Spent a fair bit of time visiting local vets on the island. Met with Tip at the GB Humane Society, she was so positive. I will be returning, maybe within the next few months, to do surgery to help with their over population problem. My mom, daughter and myself had a great time there and really liked our cozy condo with a great view and a balcony. The owners are great and helpful people. The beach was very good as well, very private without many people. (just like on the picture). It was a real get away.

I recently spent a week for my honeymoon at Coral Beach in Don and Liz's condo. The overall experience was more than I could have imagined. The Condo was immaculate upon arrival and had everything we needed. For the week while we were there we did not have a car or use any transportation. The condo owners had a book that allowed us to find local restaurants and shopping that happened to be a short walk along the beach away. Each evening we walked along to beach to the port and had a wonderful time shopping, eating, and getting to know the locals. Getting to know the locals made the stay great and we happened to come across other condo owners that were very polite and even helped us get to know the island more. The condo was beautiful with a great view. The beach was very private especially compared to the port where the high rise hotels are. You have plenty of beach real estate to yourself. I would definitely give this condo an A++.

Loved that! We also walked to Port Lucaya at least once a day. Good exerise and there are many choices of restaurants there. Like Shennigans and Agave the best. The condo building is very clean and the people of the Bahamas are friendly and helpful. Thanks for the great stay. Joan and Ed

We did have a wonderful relaxing time again this year. Kevin and I feel blessed to have such a great place to go and it suits our style perfectly! I only have positive feedback and wouldn't make any changes:) We fished with Les again, spent lots of time at the National Park (my favorite place on the Island), and had a great day at Paradise Cove! We spent some time at Bikini Bottoms and find Warren to be a great guy. He took Kevin to a Seafood Wholesaler so we took home 10 pounds of Conch. It was nice meeting Jaki and she gave us some advise on shopping for groceries and other info. which we appreciated. We traveled all the way to the East End and all the way to the West End. We don't sit still for very long!!! Thanks again for sharing your place. We hope to go back again next year...maybe for two weeks?

This is a great condo for a couple. It's quiet, loved- up and feels like home right away. We didn't have any problems at all, and Liz and Don made themselves available for questions at any time. There's a beautiful view from the balcony, and the beach is blissful. It's also much quieter than the resorts just down the beach, but you can still enjoy the amenities that cater to them-- scooter rentals, snorkeling trips, restaurants, shops, bars, etc. all available at port lucaya. We rented a scooter and got around easily. The snorkeling just down the beach (Liz and Don provided this info in their thoughtful packet) was great! My first time to see an octopus (twice!) Truly a wonderful and laid back place. Rayne and Todd, Florida

We just returned from a wonderful vacation! Liz and Don's condo was perfect. Comfortable and convenient. The beach was beautiful and the facility was very well-kept! We appreciated the information from Liz and Don regarding activities and restaurants. Having the rental car allowed us to tour and explore the island ourselves. The locals were helpful and friendly! Fishing with Les, Captain of Lil B's Fishing Charter was a blast. Had lots of fun at Bikini Bottoms a great little beach front bar and grill just around the corner from Coral Beach-Thursday and Saturday the live music is great. Can't wait to go back!

Liz and Dons place was very nicely decorated, cozy and a home away from home. In addition Liz was available by email to help answer questions on where to go, what to do and what to buy locally. The complex was well kept, quiet yet near things. We took the bus for $1.00 to the market, grocery store etc. We found the locals friendly and helpful. The condo was situated on a private beach where waters were crystal clear. A true paradise. Thanks Don and Liz for a great get away!

what a great vacation! Liz and Don's condo is exactly as shown. We were pleasantly suprised that the first day we were there both don and jackie collins called to make sure everthing was okay. The condo is well stocked and made us feel at home. This is the first time we have not done the all-inclusive thing. WE will be back. The beach is clean and everyone at coral beach made us feel welcome. I would deffinetly recommend. The intructions liz sent us left nothing unsaid.

We spent the month of January in this unit and must say that we enjoyed being there. The accomodation is comfortable, bright and roomy, with a lovely view from the balcony. The unit is decorated nicely and has all the amenities of home, so it was very easy just to move in and enjoy it. The beach is beautiful and uncrowded, and it is a short walk into Port Lucaya. The poolside concession was not operational which was probably the only negative. The local bus system was convenient and safe, and we found it easy to get to the grocery store, Port Lucaya and downtown. We would certainly consider renting this unit again if we decide to return to Grand Bahama.

We just got back from 6 fabulous nights in Don and Liz's condo. We had the best time and can't wait to go back. The crystal clear calm water was prefect for our three year old daughter! The beach is spotless and the water gorgeous. The condo was extremely well stocked and we enjoyed eating dinner at night on the balcony!

Where do I start... Liz and Don were wonderful to deal with. They are so personable. The condo is very clean and comfortable. It is located great. The common areas and the beach are very well maintained and safe. The grand Bahamas are my new favorite place to visit. Thank you guys so much. We will be visiting again.

We had a short but safe and wonderful stay at Liz and Don's place. The description and pics in the website are accurate; what a clean, lovely, well-appointed beach condo. We had no problems other than somewhat cooler than expected weather in mid-Feb. Great beach walks to Port Lucaya (3/4 mile), and easy to catch the shuttle bus ($1.00 each). This is a short hop from Southeast US and great value.

January 6, 2007We’ve just returned from a great 11-night stay ( Dec 23 to Jan 3rd) at Liz and Donald’s condo at Coral beach! The accommodations were everything we had hoped for, very clean and comfortable and very nicely renovated with floor tiles and a comfortable queen size bed.The unit has a fully equipped kitchen including a water cooler, quality linen and towels, Internet and VOIP phone which made it very easy to keep in touch with home. The view from the balcony of this 5th floor unit was very nice and a great place to enjoy meals. The beach and pool area are very nice and it is a pleasant 10-15minute walk on the beach to Port Lucaya to the shops and casino. The beach has palm huts and the condo provided beach chairs and towels. We can only provide positive comments about our stay and Liz and Donald are very helpful and reliable and a pleasure to deal with! This place is a must for anyone looking for comfortable accommodations on a nice beach offering tranquility and all the comforts of home.Michele and Robert, Montreal, Canada

Hi Liz and Don, We have had a wonderful 2 weeks here in your condo. Everything we could need was here with more. We enjoyed breakfast and lunch on the lovely balcony overlooking the courtyard and view of the ocean and dinners in Port Lucaya. The walk to Port Lucaya was great. For our 2nd week we rented a scooter and saw both ends of the island. Gold Rock Beach is amazing and snorkelling at Paradise Cove was super. We plan to come back again. Liz and Don are pleasant and easy to work with. The condo is lovely. Herb and Gwenn
