  My wife , daughter and I just spent a week at Villa Trepanier. We arrived on the Red Eye from Newark at 5:30am and were met at the airport by Baasje the property manager. Baasje couldn't have been nicer and he promptly showed us the way to the Villa along with some key landmarks such as the supermarket and gas station. Bassje gave us a thorough briefing on the Villa along with some great advice on Bonaire activities and dining. We were thrilled with the condition and location of the villa. There are at least 15 very good restaurants less then a 10-15 minute stroll down the walkway along the ocean. The dive shop was four houses away and it was an excellent company. There is a lot of activity along this road and there are some great tiki bars and outdoor dining venues. The villa was well stocked with all of the typical culinary instruments and tableware. The rooms were all clean and well cared for. The view from this Villa is stunning and I had a few great nights chilling on the patio with an Icy Beverage while the girls prepped for dinner. We were very pleased with our stay and I can't think of anything we didn't like. Do yourself a favor and rent this villa.

  We had a fantastic week in Bonaire, largely due to the villa we stayed in and the helpful suggestions the owner gave us ahead of time. The villa is located 10 feet to the water where we snorkeled and swam right in front of the villa. Also we did a night scuba dive right in front of the villa. While snorkeling right in front of the house the kids got to see an OCTOPUS (along with many other cool things). The scuba shop is 75 steps from the villa. The location was perfect. We got take out a couple nights utilized the great kitchen for many meals. I highly recommend this villa and this location. It was paradise.

  Our stay at VillaTrepanier was very memorable and relaxing experience. The owners answered all our questions via emails and phone calls before we booked, so we were very comfortable about what to expect when arriving in Bonaire. Villa Trepanier's property manager Baasje, was very sweet, meeting us at the airport with a personalized sign with our name on it, making sure we received our luggage and showed us the way to the Villa. Baasje then showed us the details of the Villa, explained where everything was on the island and made sure that we knew how to operate all the keys, where the pool was located, how the A/C units worked, TV, the free wireless WiFi, how to use the free cell phone and kitchen appliances. The morning after we rented scooters at Jack's Bike Shop and really enjoyed exploring the island in flip flops & tee shirts, while working on our tans. Bonaire is very safe, quiet, and very underpopulated with everyone driving slow, island style and the locals friendly and laid back. The snorkeling out the front was awesome (with an impressive array of friendly reef fish to greet you every time you go in the water) and the short waterfront walks to the local restaurants, bars, outdoor markets and shopping were enjoyed and appreciated by all. We made it a ritual of having an evening sunset cocktail on the front patio and were very impressed with the amazing colors! The Villa was very clean, spacious and well appointed with all the needed necessities. We ate many meal outside on the front patio while enjoying the waterfront view. The kitchen is very well equiped, and lots of spices & hot sauces,sugars,salts, no need to buy condiment which is great, we had fresh local fish from the local fisherman's dock, What a treat !! We especially enjoyed the unique pieces of art and furniture beautifully and artfully made by the owners, from local driftwood collected on their visits to Bonaire. Dive Friends Dive Shop is just a 30 second walk away from the front door, offering everything we needed to enjoy the water. The water temperature was 28 degrees, so we spent a lot of time in the water! Heaven on earth. We recommend Villa Trepanier to anyone wanting to enjoy a very quiet and relaxing waterfront stay in Bonaire with excellent personalized service. And you don't need a car! Looking forward to returning soon to villa Trepanier as we are planing to make this girles weeks an annual thing !!! Bon Bini ! Thank you Edithe, Michael. Sincerely Mrs. Caza

  Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed the beachfront house, diving and amenities provided. Bonaire was fabulous. Loved the off shore diving and the dive shop down the street handled all our needs since our luggage did not arrive for 4 days! All information on site was spot on. Kitchen was equipped with everything we needed. Only comments is that would like a few more of the basic necessities such as more towels, TP and bar soap.....or have been told that we needed to bring it with. Laundry was a bit expensive. With no luggage we needed to make trips to purchase everything. Thank you Villa Trepanier!!! We will come back! Thank you.

  This house is located at the north edge of town, about 1/2 mile or so from where the stores and restaurants are located. It is oceanfront, All you have to do is walk across a small street. However, there are a few boats anchored inside the buoys and while I swam it was not ideal. I was also not impressed with the snorkeling there even though it is highly rated by the guide books. The house was very clean and well equipped, although you need to bring you own toilet paper and toiletries. The half bathroom was out of order. the other 2 full ones were fine. The AC worked great and it was good having it in the great room (unlike many Bonaire properties). The kitchen area was ell equipped. We all felt the beds were too firm. I have a bad back and brought a foam pad and still thought the bed was too hard. The shared pool in the back is very small. Still, this is a very good place to stay if you want to be close to town and I'd stay here again. The owners were very responsive and friendly to communicate with.

  All six of us had a great time! Great central location, walking distance to shops and restaurants. Dive shop two doors to the north. Great room for gathering and cooking. One bedroom is very little, but how much room do you really need? Worked great for us.

  Villa Trépanier was all that has been said here, and more! We stayed for a one week dive vacation. We used the fully-equipped kitchen more than we anticipated, as having meals at the villa was comfortable and convenient. When we arrived, Baasje pointed out the markets and bakery. We checked out several markets (tip: Van Den Tweels market has delicious grill packs that we cooked on the charcoal grill that is provided, just replace any charcoal you use). We dined on the patio and enjoyed the sunsets on a few evenings.  The beds were firm with comfortable linens, and the bedrooms stayed nice and cool - we only ran the bedroom A/C on a few occasions. The bathroom towels were fluffy, good quality, and seem new.  We appreciated the good wifi and turned on the TV a few times to veg out.  The location of the villa is excellent: close enough to town to walk, 1 minute to Dive Friends dive shop, with a great dive site in front.  Thank you for sharing your home with us. We plan on retuning to Bonaire and Villa Trépanier again soon.

  Villa Trepanier was perfect for us. It was just as described/shown, clean, with all the amenities - pool, ocean, A/C, wifi, full kitchen, towels, sheets, etc. What more could you want? And if we had any problems or questions there was someone local to call. The owners were very nice. It was within walking distance to the shops and restaurants and if you are a diver very close to one of the many many dive shops on the island. Beautiful views and snorkling right out front with many fish to greet you. We would definitely return to the island and this rental.

  We absolutely loved this place and enjoyed our stay. The location is great: - Right in front of the water (once you pass the road) - 10min walking to downtown - 1min walking to the Dive Shop! - Great sunset view from the patio - Very spacious, clean, clutter-free furnishing in the house. We would love to go back.

  This property is in a perfect location. Our group of 6 (3 couples) had a great experience from start to finish. It's 2 doors from a full service dive shop (Dive Bonaire-Yellow Submarine) and 5 to 10 minutes walk from the main area of town for restaurants, etc. The villa has 3 bedrooms (1 large, 1 medium, & 1 quite small) with separate AC in each room, 2 baths, a huge common area, and nice, well appointed kitchen plus a big outdoor patio area with table & chairs, grill, etc. Very comfortable and well maintained with an attentive property manager in case anything comes up with the house or you have questions. Fast wi-fi internet connection. Cable TV (but we didn't turn it on!). They provide a cell phone for local calls. Walk a few steps to the water, put on mask & fins - 10 kicks and you're on a 80 to 100' coral wall - one of the nicest in the Caribbean. We rented a truck for shore dives and picking up and dropping off tanks at multiple locations on the island made that easy as well. When you get back from diving, there's a drying rack for all your gear. The Trepaniers were very responsive via email and made setting up the reservation and payment easy and hassle free. Would highly recommend this property and hope to go back in the future.
