  This house is situated in a quiet neighbourhood and is centrally located-- you are 15 to 20 minutes away from all major sites, beaches and shopping areas. The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The backyard is the area where we spent many enjoyable afternoons-- it is spacious and well furnished (numerous lounge chairs,stone bbq pit and beach bar with fridge).The large pool is always clean and the hot tub is a treat !!!! .Leslie and Dave are always accessible and accommodating.   Our family had been looking forward to this vacation for months. It was everything we hoped it would be. The house and backyard were fantastic. The boys enjoyed the pool and hot tub every night while we loved the fire pit. Everything that we needed in the house was stocked and it was great having all the maps there. The property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. We had a couple of questions during our stay and Dave was right there to attend to them. The property is at a great location, it was only minutes away from everything we had planned to do during the week. We highly recommend this property. This is a place we certainly would visit again.

  Unplug and play at this serene neighborhood paradise! Our family reunion was a huge hit and it was mainly the backyard resort that thrilled us all. Swimming pool was nicely heated, waterfall flowing, grill was easy to use, coolers provided were extra extra large, comfy lounging, the Tiki bar was the place to be for the adults, plenty of pool toys for the kids, and the stereo set the mood day and night! In the evening our family had the pleasure of hot tubbin', and sitting by the firepit with the kids and made smores. Tiki torches and outdoor lights kicked it up a notch too. Thank you Dave and Leslie for the wonderful arrival gift and helping our family create memories that will last a liftime!

  WOW, pretty much sums it up! From the welcoming you get from the owners Dave & Leslie, to the paradise of a backyard, everything is just perfect! The pictures do not do this home justice. The house was spotless, and well stocked with condiments, spices, coffee etc! The backyard was just gorgeous! The weather was a little cooler than what we were used to so the heated pool was a very welcomed addition! The location is excellent, easy access to the interstates so getting around SD was super easy! Will return again next year for sure!

  To All Potential Vacationers: This was my first actual real vacation in 6 years, and my daughters graduation from College. From day one Dave and Leslie were there to greet us with a gift basket, a pie from the Julian bakery, and fixins for our first breakfast there. The amenites and the space was perfect for us. I was able to put down my ipad, laptop and smart phone for a whole week thanks to Dave and Leslie's property. We had a small family gathering after my daughter's graduaton and the well stocked kitchen made it easy to entertain away from home. Thank you again Dave and Leslie, please enjoy the wine we left you with much gratitude from our family. We would like to make this a yearly vacation as your location. :-) Warmly Mike and Stephanie

  We had a very large group stay and still had a great time. We really enjoyed the hot tub and the fire pit. I have to admit that we spent most of the time taking in all the sites and were not at the house very much. When we were there, the house was perfect for our needs. The few minor problems we had were taken care of by Dave very quickly. I would stay at this house again. Thanks Dave and Leslie

  We have a son going to college in SoCal so decided to spend Thanksgiving in San Diego. We found the house on line and from initial emails with Leslie and Dave to our receiving our damage deposit back within just a couple days, it was a relaxing, enjoyable, hassle free get away. It starts at the top with our hosts, Leslie and Dave who are an organized, considerate and charming couple. They greeted us with a gift basket and there were coupon books, maps and clear directions to all electronics and facilities at the house. The house was well provisioned with all spices and even bathroom amenities and laundry detergent. They truly want you to enjoy the house and have tremendous hospitality and treat you like a welcome guest. The yard is better than the photos. There is a stereo and speakers inside and out (our teenage kids loved this) and skylights in the great room and a very well stocked kitchen. They even put a Thanksgiving cook book out for me although we ended up at the Hotel Coronado at the out door skating rink on the beach. We did go places every day and it was literally about 15 minutes from everything. We recommend Hodads in Ocean Beach! The washer and dryer are great and our kids worked out every morning in the home gym which was awesome! With TV's in every bedroom as well as an entertainment center in the great room, everyone had privacy when needed (again with the teenagers) and we could enjoy time together with the huge movie collection and game closet provided. The hot tub, pool and fire pit were fantastic and fun and we had a couple 80 plus degree days to really enjoy! I can't say enough about the yard. Dave filled up the tiki torches and it was so romantic and magical at night. There are lights and music and TWO waterfalls and what more could you want?? Its a private resort. Loved every minute. We will definitely return! Thanks again Leslie & Dave!

  Our guest entered such a nice review in our book (we are fortunate to have so many good comments in our book actually!) that I wanted to share this one..... ------------------------------------------------------------ This was such an amazing place to come together a a family. The location was great...on the days that we wanted to venture out we never had far to go. On the days we wanted to get some R&R we were more than happy to hang out here. What really surprised me was that on the VRBO website this place seemed "too good to be true"...and then when you get here it surpasses that already high expectation you had in mind... and then you realize that the website & photos really don't prepare you for how truly amazing this place is! My favorite part of the property was the privacy of the yard...totally not what I was expecting for a place within city limits. There were a couple of times I didn't even do my hair/make-up...what a treat!

  We really enjoyed our stay! The backyard is amazing! It is like staying at a resort, but having the whole place to yourself! The house is really nice too! The beds and linens are really comfortable. The owners Leslie and Dave are really wonderful! They had left a personalized letter with a box of goodies! The house was very well stocked with Spices, Condiments, Sauces, Paper Plates, Napkins, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Soap, Sun Screen... everything you would need! :o) We highly recommend this property! We will definitely stay here when we visit again! Thanks again so much Leslie & Dave!

  We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at San Diego Dreamin.’ The backyard proved to be central to most of our activities: barbequing, dinning, marsh mellowing, story-telling, and swimming. It brought our two families even closer together. We adults and our kids really had the time of our lives both during the day and night. Dave and Leslie treated us like royalty and accommodated all our needs. Overall, our environment was safe, clean, and comfortable; our experience went beyond our expectations.
