Then relax on the covered porch or the sun deck and enjoy the uninterrupted views of sunsets across the Trail Islands.
There are two spacious Ocean facing double bedrooms and one children’s bedroom. Egyptian cotton linens and goose down pillows will lull you into a blissful night’s sleep to the sound of the ocean on the pebble beach. The Master Bedroom is on the first floor and features a King Bed, cable TV, ocean view and sun deck. On the main floor is the guest bedroom, with Queen bed, ocean view and access to the covered Porch. To the rear is a smaller children’s bedroom with bunk-beds and reading chair.
For those lazy days, the main open plan living space includes a large corner-suite sofa. Curl up in front of your cozy wood -burning stove to watch a Netflix Movie on the Flat Screen TV, try your luck on the Play Station, or surf the internet via wireless access. Or you could always try one of the old favourites from the games box. Scrabble anyone?
The country style kitchen includes all amenities, and don't forget to help yourself to the seasonal organic greens from the garden while they last. Just off the kitchen is a utility room with Energy Star washer, dryer and recycling boxes. The shared family style bathroom features a soaker tub, duo “rain” shower and bamboo towels. A solar hot water system provides almost 100% of all the hot water during the summer months. Out back is a large deck with BBQ, tree fort and rope swings for the kids. Steps provide access up to the Highway, with parking for 2 vehicles.
Situated in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of the Sunshine Coast, the small town of Sechelt is only a 15 minute walk along the beach front, passing swim platforms, a children’s play park and beach volley ball court. Whether you arrive by Float Plane (20 mins from Vancouver or YVR) or by Ferry, all that the Sunshine Coast has to offer is ready for you to explore, whether it be hiking, kayaking, horse riding, swimming in the local lakes, diving or boating. Or just kick back and enjoy the views!

We spent a long weekend here in November and really enjoyed the house. We needed something not too far from Vancouver and had never been to the sunshine coast. Nice to have the short ferry ride and easy drive from Langdale. The house is lovely and cosy- being November, we needed the woodstove. There were 5 of us, but we could easily have had 8. It feels more like a home than a rental property- as others have commented, there is everything you need and more there. There are great downhill mountain bike trails at Roberts Creek, about 15 minutes drive south, and lots of X-country around which we didn't try. The bike shop has maps of all the trails. We also spent a wet drippy day hiking along Chapman creek; the trailhead is a couple of km South at Brookman Park. We were aiming for the Falls; didn't make it as it was getting dark, but the Parks guy we met said they are spectacular, and also recommended smuggler's cove as an expedition. There are shorter ways to get to the Falls than we chose. Sechelt has everything you need- lots of smaller shops and galleries that were closed for the long weekend, but we enjoyed the coffee shop, and an easy walk along the beach. The trail continues on along the ocean past the wharf if you want a gentle walk. I would recommend Boho, whether as a hangout spot in itself, or as a base to explore the sunshine coast.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We celebrated our 30th at Boho and had the best time ever. The house was completely kit out with absolutely everything we needed. The kitchen had coffee, tea, spices, and general stuff that you never remember to pack like salt and pepper and olive oil. The garden was full of fresh vegetables and tasty berries, which we were encouraged to eat. The fresh tomatoes were so sweet they made our salad. We also enjoyed all the chill areas, the top deck with full sun and amazing view, the lower deck with shade and comfy cozy chairs and the very private back deck equipped with a kids tree fort. We used the row boat, watched the sunset's from the top deck and drank champagne. Every morning was amazing waking up to the sound of the sea and enjoying the view right from our amazingly comfortable king size bed. It was a little piece of heaven, and we didn't want to leave. Boho was everything we wanted and more the personal touches of this house make it feel very homy. We will definitely be back next year and can't wait to take our parents. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home. We were 8 in total. Lots of common space as well as spaces to have quiet or private time. Mod cons made household tasks easy. Local area felt safe for the children (6+3) and provided lots of new learning experiences for them. Photo ops galore. Fresh oysters right off the shore in front of BoHo and a local fisherman gave us a fresh crab-- how cool is that? Sechelt itself has anything you need or forgot to bring, and is minutes up the highway. Smoked salmon quesadillas at the Gumboot will be attempted at home-----Deliciouso! For the less adventurous, there's even McD's, but really.......? TV, WiFi. Games, netflix had excellent reception and with the fireplace provided cosy evenings. Already booking for 2013.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

We stayed at BoHo for a week in early August. It was the perfect setting. Andy and Liz made sure that everything was taken care of and the beach house was comfortable and well equiped. Our young boys loved the tree house in the back yard and the proximity to the water. The view and sunsets were fantastic! Upstairs bedrooms could be a bit warm in the evening but the mornings were perfect. I highly recommend taking in the sunset on the upper deck. 10 mins stroll to downtown Sechelt (and a playground!) along the coastline. Andy and Liz are so friendly and helpful - we couldn't have asked for better hosts. We have fallen in love with the Sunshine Coast - we will definitely be back!Recommended for: Families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

The whole family had a great time at Boho Beach House. Everyone really liked the funky decor and nice personalized touches, and the kids loved the tree house in the back. It was very relaxing to walk along the beach into town, or just sit on the deck and watch the water (including the seals snacking on the fishing net out front). Thanks Liz and Andy for a great place.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.

I stayed at the beach house for a week with my husband and 3 children (23, 13 & 11). What a great place! We loved the cottage and being right on the water. The cottage has a lovely bathroom and shower and a really well appointed kitchen which was a pleasure. The owner's touches all over really make the place special, there were handmade soaps and an eclectic feel to the place. All the beds were very comfortable. Andy & Liz were great with the booking arrangements and showing us around when we arrived.Recommended for: Pet owners, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway.

We had an amazing time at Boho Beach House - right away felt at home in this comfortable, beach house situated right on the ocean. We had plenty of room for the 8 of us and enjoyed the comforts of home as well as the beautiful location. We spent time in Gibsons Landing - went to Molly's Reach and shopped at the little stores in the area. Great artists living in the Sunshine Coast. Also, had a great boat cruise through Pender Harbour - recommend this. Bring your kayaks and books and just enjoy nature in this relaxing, beautiful part of the world! We were met by the owners who were very helpful and friendly - they had a great binder with things to do in the area which was helpful. The house was clean with lots of hot water - even for 8 women! I highly recommend this house and I would love to live in this area - it is gorgeous!Recommended for: Girls getaway, pet owners, families with young children, sightseeing, age 55+, families with teenagers, adventure seekers, romantic getaway.

Just spent 4 days at BoHo with my 6 sisters and Mom to celebrate Mom's 80th birthday. It was a perfect location, and such a great beach house. Liz and Andy were there to welcome us and show us around - they had all our questions answered before we could ask them. The house is everything you would want in a house at the beach, very comfortable and accommodating. I know we all wished we could have stayed longer, and I am sure some of us will return.Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, families with teenagers.
