This is a superb villa within the tranquil and highly regarded Sugarmill Woods gated community, 1 hour drive from Tampa Airport and 2 hours drive from Orlando. Sugarmill Woods is a long established residential community set amidst conservation woodland on 'Florida's Nature Coast'. Walmart, Publix and all the other major retail outlets are just outside the community, and nearby there's every kind of restaurant you could wish for.
The Florida National Manatee Park is 5 minutes away. Within 25 minutes drive there are also safe sandy beaches, spring-fed rivers, dive sites, forests, lakes, nature trails, picnic and fishing areas, wildlife parks and museums. This is the real Florida - relaxed, friendly and beautiful; and when you want them - Disneyland, The Everglades, Cape Kennedy Space Centre and all the other exciting theme parks of Orlando and Tampa are only a drive away.

Why the Owner Chose Homosassa
Homosassa is a lovely place to stay. It has everything you could want for a long or short visit. Homosassa is home to the National Park for Manatees and has hundreds of square acres of forests, rivers and coastline. It's not commercialised like Clearwater and Tampa, and it has 2 great beaches. Good country folk and good food, yet you're only an hour and half drive from Orlando and Tampa.
The Unique Benefits of this Villa
My villa is within the Sugarmill Woods community. The Association maintains one of Florida's most sought after locations to live and holiday. The whole estate is beautifully maintained and very safe. It boasts 3 golf courses, sports centre, RV parking and an exclusive country club. The pace of life is relaxed but with lots of things to do.
