This condo with easy access to the ski mountain and historic downtown Steamboat has the bedroom on a second level. If you love to cook, this is the place for you! The fully appointed kitchen includes a dishwasher as well as other appliances, and has all of the cooking 'gear' you will need to make wonderful meals.
Close by you can spend your day fishing, skiing, hiking or shopping, relax in the world famous natural hot springs, or watch TV with Cable TV in family room and bedroom. The wood burning fireplace keeps you warm.
The bedroom is private with another TV and the spacious bathroom is elegantly tiled and has two sinks and a beautiful shower with washer and dryer units. If you have guests, a full 5 inch mattress is included with the sleeper sofa, a 3' foam mattress, and mattress pillow topper fits on the top for extra comfort. Bring the kids sleeping bags to allow for extra sleeping.
For the best in recreation, you can rent inner tubes to float down the Yampa River, or grab a bike for a ride downtown. Fishing, hiking, mountain biking and more are all within a short drive of the condo. Every weekend is filled with activities for the whole family - rodeos, art festivals, hot air balloon gatherings, farmer's markets, bike rides and races, runs, youth soccer, World Series youth baseball....the list goes on and on. Great shopping, amazing restaurants - Steamboat really does offer it all!
An extra spot is available for your second car, and snow removal happens on a regular basis during the ski season. If you like to ski, hop the free shuttle outside the front door for some champagne powder.

The home was comfortable and a perfect get away for my husband and myself. It was conveniently located across the street from the ski bus stop. The management was thoughtful and helpful when needed. The property was cared for and had many touches of warmth. Thank you to Wallace for a wonderful stay.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, adventure seekers.

Loved the view of Werner Mountain from the deck off the bedroom. We were so close to the mountain and were able to ride our mountain bikes everywhere. Thanks for the recommendations of the Old West Steak House. Great food and unique tables. Look forward to coming back next year.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, sightseeing, families with young children.

Loved the condo. Thanks for the aero bed. We used it instead of the pull out couch for the kids. They had a ball. Great location. We were glad to find out that the free downtown bus stopped near by. We did not have to move the car.Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, tourists without a car, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+.

About the owner: Annette and I purchased the condo in April 2008 for our oldest son to use while working as a ski patroller in the winter and mountain bike patroller in the summer. We live in Asheville NC
Why the Owner Chose Deer Creek:
Steamboat has it all: amazing powder skiing, world class fishing, beautiful hiking, shopping, great food, and it's a real town (not a town created for tourists). It's removed from the traffic and hustle of a large city, so it has the cowboy charm of an old West town - but it also has access to everything you might need. It's cool in the summer and snows a LOT in the winter - the lightest powder skiing imaginable.
The Unique Benefits at this Condo:
The free bus stops outside the door or walk to the ski area and restaurants, see the hot air balloons from the back deck, and take a walk or run on the Yampa River trail right across the road. We often walk up to the ski area for a great dinner or to meet friends
