Quiet, affordable house
Quiet, affordable house
This is a central place to stay and the most affordable on western Michigan. There is no lake access as the house sits behind other homes. The "loft" is not a loft, just an extra room with a sleeper sofa. The living room and main bedroom are nice, roomy and have nice furniture. The second bedroom is small and has a thick, hard cushion on a frame. The sleeper sofa is in the middle room and blocks off the room when open. The bathroom is in the back of the house. Picture a U-shaped house inside. The kitchen is very small and needs some upgrades. It is very quiet here and you can drive up and down the coast for sight seeing. Several parks within 15 minutes and beaches. You do have to drive around the smaller lakes. There is no road going straight up the coast. Families should check out Duck Lake for water fun. Grand Haven is not too far with the Musical Fountain, pier, beaches and shops. Muskegon has several small museums and a lot of history.
