Beautiful all-year home made for summer fun. About 2-1/2 hours from Chicago and 2 hours 40 minutes from Detroit, this 3 bedroom, two bathroom sits on a private lake 20 minutes west of Kalamazoo and 20 minutes east of South Haven. In the heart of Michigan's wine country you can relax and enjoy all the summer fun Michigan has to offer. The Lake Mill private community offers access to a variety of different amenities. Just outside your doors includes access to tennis courts, softball fields, volleyball, and horseshoes. On the beach you can enjoy a community clubhouse and sandbox and playground for children. The lake is one of the cleanest in the area with a sand base swimming area shared by this private community. Boat launch is also available to bring your own watercraft.
The house itself offers gorgeous views through 4 large windows overlooking the lake and all it's activities. The master bedroom has a queen size bed, television and master bath. The other two bedrooms are across from the 2nd bathroom and offer a queen-size bed and a pull-out bed for the kids. Beautiful gas log fireplace to enjoy your romantic evenings. Four-burner gas grill and firepit is available outdoors to enjoy the summer nights and watching the kids catch fireflies. Close to wineries, antique shops, and the KalHaven Bike trail, you will never want to leave this Michigan getaway.

The owner Nicole was a pleasure to deal with. The house was spotless and very well equipped with pots, pans, utensils, glasses, paper towels, toilet paper, garbage bags, etc, she has everything covered, just bring your own toiletries. The front of the house has a patio table and plenty of seating the yard was huge with an additional sitting area off the back door. The beach and play area for the kids is about 50 feet from the home. The kids ran back and forth all day.They had so much fun jumping off the swim doc, fishing, catching frogs and turtles.... plenty to do. We never heard the words I'M BOARD. Visited both Saugatuck and South Haven both towns are beautiful and no too far from the home. Looking forward to our next stay in this Shamrock Shores Home.
