  First time to the island and we had a great time. Beautiful condo and and great location! I loved that we were right by the pool complex. Can't wait to go back!!

  Our stay in this condo was very relaxing and the owner could not have been nicer or more accommodating. The condo was lovely and just as updated as the photos show. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is the actual shower, tub and shower doors in the master bedroom did not look like it had been updated when all the rest was done and was scummy with a bit of mold, probably from the volume of use over the saeson. A thorough scrubbing might have improved it but I was on vacation and would have none of that. The 2nd tub/shower was fine so we used that. In spite of this one small problem the condo was fantastic and we would definitely stay here again if we return to that area!

  The condo is beautifully remodeled. The ocean is visible from the two wonderful adirondack chairs on the patio! The building itself is a little older, but the location couldn't be better and the amenities were wonderful. We'll definitely rent this condo again. It was a great deal for a beautiful and cozy home away from home.

  We had a great vacation! This condo is in a perfect location. We could see the ocean from the living room and walk out the back door to the main pool. A few more steps and we were on a beautiful stretch of beach. The unit has been remodeled and is tasteful, clean and comfortable. The complex was very quiet and we met many owners who were very friendly and informative. The best thing about the unit, if it could possibly get any better, is the owner. Carey was so gracious and helpful. She is very attentive to any special requests and we found her to be the perfect host. We had a wonderful time and hope to return soon.

  I recently had the pleasure of staying in this very special beach home for our two week family vacation with my husband and two boys, aged 10 and 13. A good friend and her little daughter joined us for our second week, and as the condo is very spacious, there was lots of room for us all. We have been fortunate to have stayed in many lovely vacation rentals over the years, but I think this one is my very favorite. It is freshly decorated in a lovely bright beachy style, spotlessly clean, and was so comfortable because of all the details the owners have provided. It is actually even prettier than the pictures! The kitchen was very well equipped with lots of great cookware, nice appliances and lots of dishware, and as we like to cook, we appreciated this care and attention. With no parking garages, stairs or elevators to contend with, it was so easy to go to the beautiful, sandy beach or the pool just outside the back door. My boys had lots of fun in the sports centre, too, playing ping-pong and games. The Crystal Coast is a beautiful, natural, uncrowded area with lots of fun things to do and see, many of which were minutes from this condo. We enjoyed the Maritime Museum in Beaufort, especially the Blackbeard exhibit, and the Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium, which is excellent. Our kids took surfing lessons and also very much enjoyed the Professor Hacker Lost Treasure Mini putt and go-karts for a day – boy world! Carey, the owner of this lovely home, was just so helpful and accommodating and willingly shared her wealth of knowledge to answer all my questions. She had great recommendations for fresh fish, Carolina BBQ, and lots of fun things to do and see. I would definitely recommend this lovely home and look forward to returning to the Crystal Coast in the future.

  David & Teddi--Archdale, NC A week in this lovely condo was not enough. Perfection in every way...poolside--clean and only steps away, beachfront--nice area and just a few more steps away, good food and drinks at Ginger's, great fun for the kids at the arcade, nice indoor pool, convenient to shops, restaurants, ice cream shops, bike rental, and great weather for us that week, too. Really enjoyed our visits to Morehead City, Beaufort (love the shops, restaurants and history), and the Aquarium. Had lots of fun with the kids on the go-carts and bumper boats at the miniature golf spot. My husband and I could live in this condo! Everything clean and well-maintained. The color scheme and furnishings are beautiful and very comfortable. Every convenience is provided. Made us all feel at home. Really hard to leave! All the time, effort, and TLC spent on this condo really shows. My brother enjoyed his stay. He really liked his room, and he enjoyed being able to walk to the nearby shops. The girls loved their bedroom, and they enjoyed the games that were provided. They especially loved the pools and the hottub! They made friends quickly with some of the other children staying at the complex. The owners, Carey and Tom, are super nice, easy to communicate with, and very, very helpful. We all look forward to staying at Summerwinds again, and I hope it will be soon! We would recommend this property to anyone who wants the perfect getaway. Thank you for having us!

  We took our first family vacation with our one year old son and we had an absolute blast! The condo was fully stocked with kitchen goods, a whole bunch a games were available for our use, and there was even a pack and play to use during our stay. The condo was recently renovated and was decorated to feel as though we were at home! The owners were very quick to make sure we were all confortable and helped us with any questions/concerns promptly. Since the condo is on the first floor, it was only a step out the back door to the pools and the ocean. We highly recommend this for a beach vacation rental! Thank you for everything, Carey! :)

  carey and Tom have a beautiful beach condo and have made usfeel so very welcome during our stay. Everything was perfect: starting with the great decoration of the condo, to the groundfloor acces to community pool and just steps from the beach. Our kids (7 and 9) loved the ocean, we enjoyed the easy atmosphere, and would love to come back next year.
