  My friends and I visit New York every year in October. We've stayed in hotels and apartments all over the city and so far this was our favorite. We had six women in our group this year and everyone felt at home. The apartment was clean and well stocked. The beds were very comfortable and we felt like we had plenty of space, especially compared to staying in a hotel. The kitchen isn't huge but it's very well done and had everything we needed in terms of appliances and cooking utensils. The Metro was extremely convenient and the neighborhood is filled with fantastic food choices, many of which were reasonably priced. It was also nice to have a Whole Foods and a few pharmacies CVS, Duane Read and Walgreen nearby. I would highly recommend this apartment for anyone traveling in a group that would require multiple hotel rooms. You won't beat the price.

  This Condo was perfect. Went there with 5 of my buddy's and had awesome time. Location A+ (east village 5 min from everything), Transportation A+ (subway 2 min walk away), Neighborhood A+ (Safe, Plenty of great bars and places to eat), and Owners A+ (great communication, great price, accurate description).

  We are a family of five (two adults + three boys ages 5, 7 & 18 mos.), and we stayed at the apartment from June 27-July 2 while visiting family in the East Village. We enjoyed our stay from start to finish. The apartment was spacious, clean, and quiet. Check-in and check-out could not have been easier. We arrived very late at night, and the caretaker was so great--friendly & informative, and made us feel right at home. We had asked for the port-a-crib, and it was set up when we got there, complete with the cute mobile on top! From then on, we basically had everything we needed within walking distance. The grocery store was so close; food and coffee at East Village Coffee, which is about a block away, was good and convenient; cabs were readily available on 14th Street or on 1st Ave, so we could get anywhere we wanted in the city. (The Met, Battery Park/Esplanade, South Street Seaport, and Williamsburg/Bklyn were highlights.) The parks in Stuy town were wonderful, too. We went to both the playground with water features and the larger park nearer to the building. The apartment is also within walking distance of Tompkins Square Park, which is fabulous and has a pool. We stayed during a heat wave, so it was great to have a nice, cool apartment to come back to for resting with the kids mid-day when we needed to. I would definitely stay here again. I've been to New York a dozen times (three or four w/ kids), and this was probably my best visit. We had our own space (and a big one, at that!) from which to come and go as we pleased, our own fridge with our own food, AND our kids slept well in the comfy, quiet rooms, which meant they and we weren't cranky. Yay!

  We stayed 4 days in the apartment and it was excellent for our family with 4 children (11 - 17 years old). The recreation area of Styvesant town with basketball courts, table tennis, lawn and water fountain allowed a relaxing evening after all day sightseeing. The apartment sleeps easily 6 persons and the kitchen was equipped even with dishwasher. Linens, towls and usables for the kitchen were all available. The housekeeper was there when we arrived and was very flexible for the time of checkout. We would strongly recommend to stay in this apartment rather than in a hotel.

  The apartment was nicer and larger than pictured. Great location, near subway and tons of restaurants, bars, cafe's. Whole foods is just a few blocks, as is union square and lots of shopping. We were 3 couples in town for a wedding and the apartment was perfect for us. We almost paid twice the amount for 3 standard hotel rooms for 5 nights just a few blocks away.... We stayed in David and Joans apartments for less than half that price. The money we saved covered all our dining and nightlife expenses for the entire week. That's a great value and a true deal! I'll never book a hotel again. VRBO is the way to go!

  Where shall I begin? This fabulous 2 bedroom apartment was perfect for our family of 5. We stayed for 8 nights. We were traveling from Australia with our 3 kids under 10 years of age and the space was great. Nicely furnished and uncluttered to maximize the space. Ample storage space for a 2 bedder. The pics on this website do not do it justice. It was important for us to be near parks and the subway because of our kids so, location was excellent. It is also in a quieter neighborhood so if you want busy and bustling like in Times Square, this is not the place for you. The master bedroom was a generous size with two comfortable queen beds. Good closet space, even a walk in and a large chest of drawers for your belongings. The second bedroom had a another queen bed and a pack and play set up for our little one. The kitchen has everything you need including a generous sized stove, fridge with ice maker and dish washer. We did spend some time in the apartment with our little ones so we did cook quite a bit. Whole foods was a short walk across from union square farmers market and the Associated super market was steps away. Whole foods and Union square was a bit further of a walk with the little ones than associated but well worth it for offering of farm fresh produce, seafood, meat and fresh baked breads and goodies. The property manager David and caretaker were always a call away if we had any queries or had any problems (just a clogged sink). We will be back. In fact we were intending to return in early June and will be making a reservation soon.
