On one of Anguilla's greatest beaches sits one of its greatest homes: BeachCourt Villa at Shoal Bay East, a 10,000 square foot luxury villa with swimming pool and tennis court on sloped land that goes directly to the western end of Shoal Bay. It is one of the very few houses on all of Shoal Bay whose property brings you right to the sand.
Built on a hill, the house sits about 40 feet above the water, maximizing views and breezes. Yet—as you sit on its spacious decks—you are a short walk from the magnificence of Shoal Bay, its blues and greens, great for walking or snorkeling (enter the sea right in front of the house for some of the finest snorkeling you will ever experience).
Go through the lush gardens, past the tennis court, to the water; turn right, and over 1½ miles of beach lay before you. Swimming, snorkeling, and leisurely walks are all right outside the gate that insures your privacy (and keeps out the goats).

The Master Bedroom East has a Queen Bed, Private Bathroom, Private Open-Air Shower, Ceiling Fan, and a Walkout to Covered Deck.
The Master Bedroom West Suite has a Queen bed, a Private Bathroom with a Shower, a Ceiling Fan, and a Walkout to Covered Deck.
West Wing East & West Bedrooms on the 2nd floor both have Queen beds, a Private Bathroom plus a Vanity in bedroom, a Ceiling Fan, and a Walkout to Covered Deck & Pool.
West Wing East & West Bedrooms on the 1st floor both have
First Floor East Queen beds, a Private Bathroom plus a Vanity in bedroom, a Ceiling Fan, and a Walkout to Covered Deck & Pool.
There is a 7th bedroom (with full bathroom and outdoor shower) in the tennis court apartment.
The study (on the first floor of the main house) has an adjoining full bathroom/shower and may function as an 8th bedroom (utilizing queen-sized fold-out sleep sofa).
BeachCourt Villa is designed to be your 'home away from home', so if you need it, we probably have it. It has whatever a house ought to have, so rather than list what we do provide, here is what you will need:

Brisk, Cooling Breezes
BeachCourt Villa does not require air-conditioning because of the brisk, cooling breezes. Nonetheless, because we know that some people 'must have it', all of the bedrooms are fully air-conditioned. While you are welcome to use it, we predict that—once you experience the sensory delight of sleeping with open (screened) windows—you will reach for your light quilts, not the A/C switch.

About the owner: The owners had spent a lot of time in the Caribbean but committed to Anguilla because of the beauty of the beaches and--most importantly--the beauty of the people. We completed the house in 2003 and since then hundreds have experienced the beauty of Anguilla. Come experience BeachCourt Villa and the joy that is Anguilla.
The Unique Benefits at this Villa:
Anguilla has many great homes; however, very few of them are directly on the beach. BCV is built on a hill but its gated property goes directly to the west end of Shoal Bay, one of the world's most beautiful beaches.
BCV lends itself to large groups or small: corporate get-aways to weddings to family reunions. Many of our repeat visitors, however, are single couples; the house works for any size group.
The common areas easily accommodate large groups but permit intimacy, if desired. The kitchen is fabulous, and we can bring in a chef, if you don't want to cook (of course, Anguilla has many great restaurants, in all price ranges).
The omnicourt tennis court is spectacularly situated just above the sands and water of Shoal Bay. The wet-bar and shaded seating area make spectating almost as much fun as playing.
