A separate bungalow is set up as a TV entertainment room. The bungalow also works very well as the 5th bedroom as it has it’s own en suite and wardrobe and can be set up with twin bed or queen bed.

To the marvelleous owners, Graham and Lou, how nice it was to have that aussie connection for our first trip abroad. Your hospitality and welcome set up what was to become our very best family holiday. The Villa is absolutely stunning and roomy, the Baliense staff, who we felt became friends to us were faultless in their efforts to make our holiday the very best of experiences. Nothing was to much effort, and we hope that before we left we conveyed our gratitude to you all for all that you did for my family. Each of us left with more than one special memory, and when we return we would love to stay again. There were different experiences, including this beautiful Baliense meals, and drinking wine and Bintang around the glorious blue pool. For any family is looking for that special holiday, with the convenience of being close to the attractions of Bali, including what we discovered was the very best children's indoor/outdoor activity centre, then akasa Villas is the place to be. We had a fantastic time at akasa Villa! We had 8 ladies wanting to stay and they were able to accommodate us with 5 in their own room / ensuites and the other 3 were very happy to share the studio. The staff were fantastic and very, very accomodating. The rooms were lovey and the massages onsite at a time to suit you, were incredible!!! I would highly recommend staying here. Thanks again to all the staff for a wonderful stay! This villa would also suit say 2 x families with children or even up to 6 couples. It's very easy to configure the rooms to your needs. If I had any less positive feedback it would just be about the building that was commencing opposite. This could be noisy but it did not bother us. Also, the location seems out in the back blocks but really, it was less than a 2 minute taxi drive ($2) to the heart of Seminyak and taxis would arrive at the villa within 5 minutes of being called so it wasn't a problem.Did you find this review helpful? I really enjoyed my recent 5-day stay at akasa. The rooms are lovely and the in-house staff, management & contract beauticians are great. Lucy & Irma are master masseurs & all are very welcoming. I loved the garden's tropical gardens but was glad we were booked in during late March, before the nearby construction work really kicked off. Rented the villa for 4 families with 2 young children each. It was spacious enough for the kids to run around. Hospitality was amazing where you can request for inhouse cooked lunch or dinner if required. Location was good as it is not as congested in comparison to Kuta. The rooms are well maintained everyday.Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, girls getaway.

From beginning to end the stay at Akasa was a wonder and a delight. Everyone had the space to do as they wished. Space and time for good company, for quite reading, for massage (an in-house luxury), swimming, dancing the tango, cocktails and delicious food (another inhouse indulgence). What better way to spend your 50th birthday?! Something for everyone from 7 years old to 75 years old. We could not have asked for more! Everyone felt at home and cared for by the excellent staff, service and facilities. It was so easy to get good advice, recommendations and make bookings for adventures for the day, for heavenly meals in some of Seminyak's best restuarants, for easy access shopping trips from souveniers and trinkets to fashion items, yet we were hidden way in a cool and very private garden oasis. A rustic stroll down the track leading to Akasa Villa past villas, paddies and primary school kids on their bikes heading for home and next thing you are in the 'hub bub' of Seminyak. Thank you, thank you, thank you to Akasa Villa and the excellent staff who made my birthday celebrations so very special every day we were there! All the attention to detail in all aspects of the facilities and service was noticed and appreciated by all my guests. We are really looking forward to our next stay. Unforgettable!Recommended for: Families with young children, families with teenagers, pet owners, sightseeing, age 55+, tourists without a car, people with disabilities, girls getaway.

About the owner: We are from Australia, have been married for more than 30 year and have 2 sons. Our first son is already grown up, lives in Sydney and is happily married, the second son goes to school in Bali. The first time we came to Bali in 1991 we were reluctant to say the least and it was just a convenient stop over. However after touring our theatre show for children overseas, it seemed like a good place to stop and rest before we returned to Australia and a hectic work schedule. Well what a surprise Bali was and what a wonderful rest we had! After that we just kept coming back. Then in 2007 we moved to Bali, found Akasa Villa, renovated it, lived in it for more than a year while building our dream home. In 2011 we decided to rent out this beautiful villa to visitors to the island and hope you love it too. Previously Lou was a successful Theatre Set and Costume Designer and Teacher and in fact taught for 4 years in Bali when we first moved here. Grahame was a highly acclaimed Theatre Director and writer. Once our first son had grown up and left home and we’d reached the peak in our respective careers, it was time for a new adventure, a new life and a new challenge. So with our 6 year old son we moved to Bali to immerse themselves into a new culture and experience some of the delights this tropical island has to offer.
