This was a great place to stay for the wife and I. It was very clean and cozy as well as in a very safe location. The property was close enough to downtown for convenience but far enough away for a quiet and peaceful stay. The property owner was extremely nice and very helpful with everything. She gave us alot of information about the attractions and things to do in the area. We will definately stay here again when we return to Nashville......Thanks!!!!!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, people with disabilities, age 55+, families with teenagers, pet owners, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.

The description of this property is somewhat misleading. First of all, it is a basement unit. This means you hear people walking overhead and the light into the unit is restricted because there are windows on one side only and the upstairs deck hangs over them. Also, it is very definitely not 1000 square feet. We did a rough measurement and came up with 660 square feet. There is no dining room--there's a dining room table in the kitchen. "Office space" is simply a desk in the living room. The place was furnished in old mismatched pieces and there were no rugs on the floor (which would be good for a couple of reasons, warm feet for one). It has a very "spartan" feeling...no extras (not even bath soap or a bath mat). The combo washer/dryer didn't work and, in fact, caused floods twice. We went to a commercial laundry down the road. We had a difficult time getting our deposit back--it was promised but never arrived. After 2 weeks I called VRBO and escalated the issue with them. Then we got it back. But not until we had made many, many phone calls and send emails requesting our money. On the plus side, it is a quiet neighborhood and not very far from downtown. And pets are allowed.Recommended for: Pet owners.
Owner response: I am astonished by this review, due to the fact this renter contacted me to tell me how nice their stay had been. Everything in this rental is described precisely in the pictures and descriptions, nothing is stated that does not appear. It is a very warm residence with an open, welcoming feel. As per the comments, the washer/dryer unit apparently overflowed in the restroom area which we have never had happen and I am still not sure what caused it. My staff believes it could be user error(overloading, etc.), however my staff worked diligently offering laundry service, clean up, etc. The measurements of the rental are taken from the specifications on the real estate description of my home purchase agreement. The delay in receiving their deposit was due to issues created by the renter. First she said she no longer had the credit card she paid with and wanted her refund returned to a different credit card, which creates security issues and concerns. She then requested a check and eventually I returned it to her original card. It was a very confusing process that I tried to cooperate with, however I reimbursed the renter regardlessly and I am disappointed by the negative review. I take pride in offering a safe, clean, comfortable home for guests and want every one of them to have a relaxing, enjoyable stay.

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay! This was a very quiet property and had everything we needed and more. The added benefit was that our bassett hound was allowed to come along with us and he enjoyed the place as well. It was just outside the city and provided easy access to everything Nashville has to offer.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, pet owners, families with young children.

Thank you Kayla for making my first time visit to Nashville a great one! This little home was perfect for the two of us. It was a very private location. Your property was extremely clean and you had everything we needed to cook and to BBQ our meals. I would recommend this place for a couple. We liked the street you lived on, friendly people. Well, seems like everyone is friendly in Nashville. Loved walking to Starbucks in the morning and it was a quick drive into the downtown Nashville area. Thank you for allowing us into your home!Recommended for: People with disabilities, age 55+, romantic getaway, families with young children.

Loved this rental in Nashville area. It was clean , quiet and a great place to come home to at the end of the day. Close to everything we wanted to see in Nashville but a nice area to relax in. Enjoyed the BBQ which was a pleasant surprise to us and all was in the rental that we needed to feel at home, never did figure out the dryer on the washer/dryer combo but that was a minor inconvenience, free wifi was great and really enjoyed seeing what critters would be outside our windows every morning. Michael was a great help in helping me book and supplying info and was only a phone call or email away, he made the decision to rent there so easy and was so patient in answering any questions we had. Loved the small details owner provided such as info on where to eat or what to see. Overall it was a great experience staying here and we would definitely love to visit again and would not hestitate in staying here in the future. Trust me you won't be disappointed.Did you find this review helpful? Yes | No Helpful votes: 0/0

We really enjoyed our stay at this quiet, clean getaway in Nashville. Our hostess was very obliging and easy to get along with. We had everything we needed and it was so quiet for sleeping. We only wished we had more time to get to know our hostess. Photos were very accurate of the place. The location was superb for us. Not far from Downtown Nashville, Greenhills Mall, friends in Cool Springs and Franklin, grocery stores right around the corner and my favorite....CeCe's Sweets. Yummy yogurt. Great for a couple with a small dog. Safe running for my dog and me. I would highly recommend this rental. Best part of going downtown was that we saw Jason Aldean in concert at the park the day before the CMA's. Driving to Franklin and shopping downtown there was a treat as was going to The People's Church. Also ate at Puckett's. Good time was had by all.Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, romantic getaway.
