Our home is nestled among a variety of pine and cypress trees. The home sits at the top of a long slope that ends on the 8th tee of the Lake Almanor West Golf Course. All guests and the public are welcome on this beautiful course that has numerous views of Mt. Lassen. Our home has a very open interior, very comfortable and the living area and kitchen open to a very large deck overlooking the back lawn. As you wander down there is a nice horseshoe pit, lawn chairs and nice shade in the summer weather. The home is fully equipped with everything you may have in your home and more !
The community has our own lake front park that's great for kids and all types of leisure. Swim in the lake, play basketball or push your sweetie on the swings.
Sleeping arrangements include a large master king with slider to the back deck, a queen bedroom, another nice room with a queen bed and a bunk bed with 2 twins. This is nice for a group of kids or second family. The futon room has it's own entertainment center and of course can sleep 2 more.
The kitchen is big and open with an island prep area. Dishwasher, trash compactor, microwave, gas stove top and electric oven combo. The dining room is connected and there is a 4 stool bar top that borders the cooking area.
Washer, dryer and pantry with a 1/2 bath there as well.
We also provide room enough for 1 car in the garage if needed.
Our home is very clean and is meant for a carefree stay. It is not rustic and it is also NOT frilly. Enjoy the mountains, come and relax !

We stayed for a week and loved it! The house was clean and had everything we needed. It was great to have a comfortable place to enjoy after being out exploring the area all day. The lake was a short walk away, and you are right on the golf course. Very nice BBQ and large deck was great for enjoying meals outside. Great house for a family vacation.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

About the owner: The Doud / Jackson Families are related and we started our vacations at Almanor around 1995. We camped, rented, camped, rented and then bought the house in one of the greatest places in Northern California. If we didn't live 8 hours away we would be there all the time and you would not have this chance to rent.
