My husband and I found the condo to be beautiful, clean and well appointed. The view of the lake and surrounding homes was lovely, peaceful and soothing. People we met were friendly and informative. Much to do in the area. Realtor was friendly and cooperative. Rental fee was a bit pricey so we cut our time there short, but we enjoyed our stay immensely. Thank you for a peaceful retreat.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway, adventure seekers.

We really enjoyed the weekend. The condo was absolutely beautiful. It definitely exceeded our expectations and we found it very comfortable and relaxing. We especially loved the view from the porch. We had such a great time during our stay here. We were met promptly at Ingles and led to the front entrance of the Lodge. After a quick tour of the facility and the room we were left to enjoy a very relaxing stay! The unit was perfect, great view of the lake, very clean an well-kept. The kitchen was a chef's dream with all high-end appliances and everything you need to cook a gourmet meal if you decide to stay in. The bathroom is also a treat, the large shower was the perfect ending for a day of hiking! The living room and outside patio complete with rocking chairs and large round table for outside dining was also perfect. Kayaks were available for guests to use and there was a dock on the lake with picnic tables that were perfect for relaxing with a cup of coffee in the morning or a glass of wine in the evening! Location is ideal, an extremely short drive (<5 min) to the entrance of Chimney Rock, minutes from many of the lakes restaurants, beach and marina and only 25-30 minutes or so (if you don't get stuck behind an RV or bus) from Asheville. For the price, this property was a steal. I have already recommended to many others and will absolutely be staying here again the next time we visit. Thanks!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, adventure seekers, people with disabilities.

The property was clean, private, and great for a relaxing get away on Lake Lure. The pool was a definite plus for our four year old too.Recommended for: Families with young children.
