NEW LISTING!!! Charming lake house located on Lake Hartwell has just underwent a cosmetic inside renovation! Very cozy, clean, and nicely decorated!!! The back deck extends the length of the house facing the lake so great views with lots of entertaining space and a hot tub(seasonal) just outside of the master bedroom!
A DOUBLE DECKER DOCK is a wonderful way to ENJOY THE LAKE especially if YOU DO NOT HAVE A BOAT to layout, swim, fish(must have fishing license), listen to music, and just take in the relaxing natural scenery!! The dock does have a large boat slip for your personal watercraft!
There are 3 bedrooms queen/full size beds up stairs and 2 baths also a laundry area. A fourth bedroom is located downstairs in the family/game room. There are 2 large leather sofas and one love seat...can accommodate 10+ people easy! A bathroom is just around the corner...so no up and down the stairs in the middle of the night! There is also a dining room and cozy sitting room with TV beside the kitchen! Very convenient for children and elderly to enjoy! We hope you have a great time at the lake!!!

The location was great. House was exactly as advertised. One thing to be careful of is the STEEP concrete path to the dock. Be sure if you use the pull cart, to let it go in front of you and not you pulling it. It will "run over" you. The owners were very nice and helpful with any questions. Also the hot tub needs to be checked around for and wasp nest. We loved our stay though and recommend it to all.Recommended for: Families with teenagers.

The house felt smallish due to the size of the small rooms on the main level, but the basement more than made up for it - large with plenty of sofas and a small bed. Note - although referred to as the "4th bedroom" there is no privacy in this area, but good for kids or family groups willing to sleep slumber-party style. The kitchen is well-stocked with utensils, dishes, pots and pans, etc., and all appliances work fine. One suggestion to the owners would be to clear out one of the cabinets for exclusive use of the guests for storage of the food supplies they bring. Dining room is large with a big table for family dinners, games, etc. One thing to note - one of the queen-size beds is a waterbed. We had plumbing issues while we were there - basement ceiling leaked, upstairs shower in back bedroom aimed poorly and got water all over the floor consistently. The walk to the water may be prohibitive to some. Extremely steep in some areas, and a long distance from house. But the dock was wonderful, with plenty of chairs on the upper deck and a lovely view. It is on deep water, so even in the drought, jumping of the lower deck into the water was not an issue. Was a little disappointed that the hot tub was not available - I guess early September is not technically considered "Fall." Overall, for the price, this house is a pretty good deal, and our family enjoyed our time there.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners.

Great rental for family fun and spending time on the lake! Very clean, wonderful outdoor seating with view of lake. Great dock with plenty of water even with lake levels down. House was nice. Dock was nice ! Water was Great ! Large bedrooms upstairs. Nice Kitchen . Plenty of bathrooms. The 4th bed is not separated and private from tv area in the downstairs den. Upstairs living room is small so with 8 people the den is necessary. Screened in Porch needs some work and leaked when it rained so we could not utilize it as much as we would have liked. The walk to the lake is steep but great exercise. The covered dock was a life saver for us and our boat when it rained. We had a great time and would recommend this property.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, pet owners.

The house was as described, very, very clean and the downstairs is especially cozy. Wish we had had more time there during the day to enjoy the view of the lake.Recommended for: Families with teenagers, girls getaway, families with young children, pet owners.

About the owner: We are a BUSY family of 4 from Greenville, SC who love to spend time on Lake Hartwell in our spare time which is not as often as we would like! We have decided to share our home with you and hope you can enjoy the lake as much as we have establishing some life long memories along the way!
Why the Owner Chose Anderson:
My husband owned this home and lived there for a while before we were married so it has been a part of us for a long time now and decided we were ready to share it with other Lake lovers! This house is nestled in a quiet, deep cove close to Portman Marina. There are 3 large grocery stores nearby. Downtown Anderson is (-10 mi) away, Clemson University (20), Charlotte (90), Atlanta(150)!

The great benefit to our house is it is located in a quite, established neighborhood on a deep cove! Boat traffic is not a hazard so this makes a great place for parking your boat, fishing and swimming in peace!
