  Had a great time, your place is perfect. Caught a ton of fish, just catch and release. Kids, grandkid and pets enjoyed the week. It was great to be able to launch pontoon boat from the house and keep it in the slip. Thanks again!

  Once again another memorable family vacation. Thanks again for sharing your lake house. We didn't have much luck with the crappie this trip but we made up for it with the catfish!! We caught about 8 this size (guest included a photo of a 24" catfish) through the weekend. The weather was perfect and the kids started their summer vacation with a blast!! We hope to do it again next year.

  What a lovely lake house you have and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The weather was perfect, perfect temp and sunny most of the time. We rented a pontoon boat on Saturday and enjoyed the lake. You provided everything anyone would need while visiting. My daughter-in-law and I both like to cook and we loved your kitchen! There was not one thing we needed that we did not find. My 9 month old grandson had so much open space to crawl around and play - he had a super time! Thank you for allowing us to enjoy this family time together. Thank you again for a wonderful place to visit!

  Amazing home, amazing location, and amazing owners to work with!! My husband and I rented this home for a getaway with our 3 y/o daughter, his sister and her family! Everything was perfect!! The dock was wonderful for fishing, the beach area was great for swimming (5 kids ages 3, 7,10, 14, and 16), and the house was located centrally to everything on the lake!! The onsite boat ramp was great.....we brought two boats and had room at the dock to secure both! The owner's description of the property is exactly correct! We had plenty of room and had everything we needed to prepare meals! We could not have asked for a better end to the summer! I would highly recommend this home! Thank you for wonderful memories! We definitely plan to return!

  Our family just spent a long weekend at this terrific house. Everything was as promised and everyone had a great time. The owner was easy to work with and the pictures are accurate. The house was well- equipped and very clean. We appreciated being able to bring our small dog since she loves the lake as much as we do! The only small negative was that the driving distance into Milledgeville was a little longer than I would have preferred. But if you're looking for privacy, quiet and a beautiful lake location, this is the place for you!

  Recommended for: Pet owners, romantic getaway, girls getaway.

  Wanted to send you a email and ask you two questions if I can. First, How do I write a review on the lake home, on VRBO...I want to let every one know how beautiful this home is!! We enjoyed every minute of our vacation. My husband commented on how the house makes you feel at home and relaxed. He caught up on some much needed sleep and rest...One thing, it just DID NOT last long enough for us!! ...But, back to the vacation home, It was MARVELOUS!! Had a homey feel to it. Absolutely would recommend this to anyone. As a matter of fact my husband told a co-worker about your vacation home. The co-worker told Stevie of a HORROR STORY that happened to him when he and his family rented a home at Lake Sinclair. Stevie told him about your home, and they are talking about renting it next year.. No horror story's hear, Stevie told him. Only thing that is a HORROR about that place is, "That I don't live there". Oh, by the way, I know that GOAT gained at least 15 pounds while we were there. My Husband is a farmer and you know what they say... "You can take the man out of the FARM, but you can"t take the FARM out of the MAN." Even on vacation he was taking care of the Animals. We laughed at him. Apparently the Goat LOVES WATERMELON, CANTALOUPE, APPLES, PEACHES, PEACH COBBLER, BANANA PEELS, and BANANA PUDDING!

  On behalf of our family, we thoroughly enjoyed your home. We have now rented five different lake homes on two area lakes. Yours was a perfect fit for us and is rated number 1 by the group. We could not decide whether the dock or the covered porch rated the highest, but both were used every day. The grand-kids were in the water every day of course, so they enjoyed the beach area. For the record, we saw eagles almost everyday. We spotted two nesting areas as we traveled on the lake. The best thing is that on Saturday morning, while playing in the water with my grand-daughter, we noticed an eagle flying the treeline, then another in the same area. As my daughter walked closer on the dock to see the activity, we realized that two eagles are nesting directly across the cove from the dock. We could clearly see them going in and out of the nest. If you stand on the porch, where we spent a lot of time, the nest is directly behind the small hardwood and pine tree that are near the edge of the water. Standing on the dock, it is about a 10 o'clock location from the edge of the dock. You can easily see a spot of light brown within the green tree growth, and there it is!!! Beautiful birds to watch, so it really finished the trip on a high note. Lunch at The Brick completed our week, and we returned home. The Brick was a favorite spot for Dan, Jr, Alison and Billy (son-in-law) when they were in college. Also, we compliment your air conditioning system, it kept us cool with the very hot temperatures during the day. Thanks again, and maybe we can rent your home again in the future.

  We just returned from the lake and we had an AMAZING time! Your home is so beautiful, and it fit our needs perfectly! The grandkids spent HOURS swimming around the dock- we could barely get them to come in to eat! Thank you SO MUCH for allowing us to vacation at your home!

  I just wanted to say,"Thank You," for sharing your wonderful lakehouse. My family and I enjoyed our weekend. The other couple coming with us backed out last minute but that did not put a damper on our fun. The weather was perfect, crappie were biting, and sunset was beautiful!!! Perfect place for the much needed R&R!!! Hope to rent for you guys again.
