'Sunsplash' is a beautiful custom home offering stunning ocean, sound and lighthouse views. Soak up the sun from the wrap-around decks, float in the gorgeous private pool, or watch the stars from the top-deck hot tub. The window-walled great room features a wood-burning fireplace, and flows seamlessly into the gourmet kitchen and dining area. The screened porch off the great room is the perfect place to enjoy a big family meal or a quiet breakfast. Completely redecorated last year, including new furniture and all new appliances. The 14' x 28' private pool is a cool oasis on hot summer days, and a great place to hang out. Located in the Villages at Ocean Hill, guests have access to 2 community pools, a complete fitness center, tennis courts and lake. Sunsplash is a great house for extended families to get together. You can spread out in the great room: have a drink at the big kitchen counter, do a puzzle on the table, watch TV on the five flat screens or just hang out.
Just a little farther south, the Timbuk II shopping center offers everything from kites to clothes. And there's plenty of great dining available. Want an informal meal you'll never forget? Try take out from the North Carolina BBQ shack at the lighthouse. Or get a complete clam bake to go from Steamers in Timbuk II. Your choices for dining out are varied. We like the Blue Point in Duck for high-end food in a funky setting. Or try North Bank Seafood in Timbuk II for great seafood in a comfortable place.
The Outer Banks offer an extraordinary variety of activities for everyone in your family. People come for the beach, because it's known as one of the best in the world. Then there's the fishing: whether you cast for flounder from the surf, troll for blues on the ocean or go crabbing in the sound, you can't beat the Outer Banks. Six other courses are within minutes of the house, too. Surfers come to the Outer Banks because it has some of the most reliable conditions on the East Coast. There's a sweet break just offshore from Sunsplash that will keep your attention all day. Feel like shopping? The Shops at Corolla Light are within walking distance of the house, and the restored shops that surround the Currituck Lighthouse are practically next door.
