If you're looking for a quiet beach getaway in a designer home, breathtaking views with only a short stroll to a nearly private beach...then look no further. This vacation destination will take your breath away!
This three-story modern gem is located in Neskowin. If you drive 10 minutes south you'll find yourself in Lincoln City where you can shop, golf, hit the casino, spa resort, take in a movie, and dine in one of the many fabulous fresh seafood restaurants. And if you'd like to catch some fantastic waves surfing, head to Pacific City-just north of Neskowin-10 minutes away (After surfing, you should hit the Pelican Brew Pub located right on the beach where you can enjoy brewed beer and fresh seafood.)
The top floor boasting 16' vaulted and beamed ceilings is an entertainer's dream. Enjoy cooking a gourmet meal in the designer kitchen which is elevated so that you can cook while enjoying the view of the ocean. This home is especially great for hosting large events such as reunions or family holidays (the Aga cooking range has 6 burners, pot filler above, 2 ovens, 1 broiler, and a warming drawer). The large walnut table seats 20 with the built in window seat. While dining, crack the windows to take in that fresh ocean air and view some of the most amazing sunsets. For dessert stroll outside and roast marshmallows over the fire pit while listening to music (house is wired inside and out). This is also a fun time to spot all the fishing vessels heading out to sea.
After you've eaten so much you can't walk... go back inside, sit on one of the 2 plush leather chairs by the marble fireplace and begin reading your favorite book. A powder bath and loft is also located on this floor. The loft has 4 twin mattresses. (Guaranteed that if you have kids, this will be the first place they want to explore. However, there is a 12' ladder leading up to the loft and it is very steep! This area is best for teenagers and or adults. Sleeping young children up there would not be advised.)
The second floor has three bedrooms-all with ocean views! A den has been converted into a bedroom which has a very comfortable king size bed, the second private bedroom has a queen bed, and the children's bedroom has a twin boat bed with a trundle underneath. Crib also onsite if needed. No need to pack toys-the children's room is full of fun toys and books to play with. On this floor you will also find a luxury bathroom with a tub/shower and two pedestal sinks. There's a laundry chute when you first walk in which is handy to throw all those sandy clothes down!
On the lower level is the utility room with farmer sink, washer and dryer, a mud room, and the master suite. The master suite bathroom has a fabulous claw tub and huge glass surround rain shower. You may just never leave the master bedroom with its espresso bar, fireplace, and cozy chair to curl up in. The king bed is plush and opens to a small patio outside. A great place to relax and take in the ocean view while drinking your espresso.
You'll want to spend a lot of time outside enjoying the sandy beach which is just a short stroll from the house(very easy-1-2min. walk max. My 3 year old daughter strolls her wagon by herself to the beach!). Have fun building bon fires, looking for seashells, spotting seals, and building sand castles. Plenty of sand toys available for the kids to play with.
Available onsite and included in the rental price: coffee, espresso, spices, flour, sugar, oil, blender/mixer, plenty of gourmet cooking utensils and knives, serving trays, dishes, and wine glasses, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, razors, hairdryer, curling iron, plenty of board games, books, indoor and outdoor toys, laundry soap, linens and towels, dvd player with movies, music, flat screen TV in main living area with cable and satellite, BBQ grill.
You'll fall in love with this house and never want to leave. But don't forget...you can always come back and stay as often as you like! There is a 3 night minimum stay during peak season (June-September and all holidays). No minimum night stay otherwise.

I can't say enough great things about this home, it is beautiful, comfy and inviting. I didn't mind cooking in the gorgeous kitchen, I wished I had one at home! The house had everything we needed for a weekend of cooking, relaxing and watching the ocean.The view was amazing (better than expected) and the beach was very easy to access. All the touches in the house were high end, you can see how much time and effort went into making this house a beautiful home. This is your not typical beach house, I highly recommend it. We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful home which was exactly as pictured and was very clean and comfortable. The elevation of the home provides for amazing views of the coast; and the surrounding area was very quiet and peaceful. Very short and easy walk to the beach with just one house between you and the beach access. The window seat was my favorite part of the house for sitting and watching the ocean. During our week long vacation, we took day trips between Cape Meares to the north and Newport to the south. We hiked along the coast and inland to two waterfalls. We stayed at your home with two other families we met in our birthing class almost two years ago. We had an incredible time creating wonderful memories. This house is truly breath-taking. The large open floor plan in the kitchen and living area is so inviting, the amenities throughout the house are so great (high quality and unique - the espresso machine in the master suite was a sweet touch). This house was really fun for our toddlers, plenty of new toys and books for them to experience. And that beach toy closet is genius. We imagined when the kids are older getting so excited about staying in the loft. We have only wonderful things to say about our visit - it's a beautiful home, a quiet and gorgeous beach (whether on the sand or viewing from several locations within the house), so comfortable and inviting. There are so many little details about the home that make it one of a kind and exceptional. We will recommend to everyone we know and definitely will be back. This was the best vacation we have had as a family! The damage waiver of $200 is charged at final payment but will be refunded 100% as long as all provisions are met-no damage is done to the unit or its content beyond normal wear and tear, all check out procedures are followed, and the unit is left locked with the key in the lockbox. 5. We do reserve the right to cancel the reservation at anytime if there is an emergency situation such as repairs that need to be taken care of. A full refund will be given if this occurs.

About the owner: My name is Sabrina and we live in Portland, OR -just 2 hours from Neskowin. I use to own an interior design company before I decided to stay home with my 6 year old son and 3 year old daughter full time... which is such a joy! My husband works at Nike and enjoys his work. We love the beach, the mountains, traveling, laughing with friends, sports-tennis, running, hiking, swimming, soccer, and spending time with our overly-fed cat named Wiley...who thinks he's a dog.
Why the Owner Chose Neskowin:
The location was key. We are located in a gated community-safe and quiet, yet drive ten minutes north or south and you'll find Lincoln City and Pacific City with all their fun activities.
