Why the Owner Chose MontaukMy family have vacationed or lived in Montauk full time since 1910.
The Unique Benefits at this CottageThe cottage is just so cute and lovable, I wish I could live there year round! I'm really proud of how it's turned out.
Owner's Map of Montauk
I spent summers in Montauk at my nana's house growing up. Sadly, Nana's house was sold after her death when I was 16, so it was my dream to buy a house so my children could experience Montauk summers as well.

I had the most wonderful stay in this adorable cottage last week. Tucked behind a larger house facing the ocean, this little gem has a sweet deck overlooking a grassy patch of yard. It even has a bit of an ocean view itself, from the entryway. Inside it is an absolute treasure of retro charm and functionality. The spacious main room and well-equipped galley kitchen are bright and airy, spotlessly clean, and mind-blowingly charming. Decorated with vintage furniture, accessories, and art, the ambiance is relaxing and uncluttered. The bathroom is roomy, updated, and immaculate. The retro theme continues in the two bedrooms with soothing pastels. I honestly don't remember the last time I slept so soundly, anywhere. My favorite part of the cottage experience (and believe me, it's an EXPERIENCE) is the little pink Smeg - a diminutive reproduction of a vintage refrigerator. I plan to return again and again!
Recommended for:Romantic getaway, tourists without a car, adventure seekers, girls getaway, age 55+, families with young children, sightseeing, families with teenagers.
