I'm not one to bother with reviews, but this place was so nice I felt I had to. If you are reading this review you'll see that it's one of many 5 star reviews. That's why I chose it and I was not disappointed. The pictures online do not do justice to the beauty that is laid before you in this unit. The living room boasts one of the best views of ocean and sky that you will ever see. Best part is that windows open wide to the sight and sound of the ocean and cools the apartment with a breeze coming off the ocean. The kitchen is small, but is equipped the essentials for a week of vacationing. The bathroom is nice and has a big shower with good water pressure. The bedroom also offers a beautiful view, although not as nice as the living room. The tv in the living room is small, but I can't imagine you would ever find the need to turn it on. We spent five days here and never even thought to turn it on. Plus, the unit has wifi so it's perfect to do a little work on your laptop, but you won't want to. Believe me. The location is good too. It's a step away from the beach and walking distance to several restaurants and a Walgreens. There's a supermarket about a half mile away if you don't mind walking. The area feels safe as you will see police and other tourists walking through the streets freely during the day. The landlord is responsive and appears to take great pride in her place. The caretaker was kind and helpful too. Overall, this was a great place to rent and made experiencing Puerto Rico a terrific event . We were sad to leave, but we'll be back. Amazing!

We really enjoyed everything about this place, the ocean waves were so relaxing to hear all the time and the apartment had all the supplies that one needs when being away from home, even cooking utensils. Lourdes and Mr. Arnold were also very kind. Thank you!

This trip including myself and my boyfriend and it was our first time to Puerto Rico, so when I found this condo online, until I actually got there, I wasn't sure what I was going to find, especially since there was only one other review available at the time. This was a well maintained, CLEAN condo in a great location. It is right on the beach! You look out of the bay windows in the living room and bedroom onto the ocean which sometimes comes right up to the building. There are multiple local restaurants as well as hotel restaurants (and fast-food) all within walking distance. The facility manager was great about answering calls and giving us suggestions for eating places. It is also located close to highway exit for the highways to get yourself where ever you want to go. This was less expensive than the hotels in the area, much more private and well worth the money. I would recommend this place to friends and family.

I thought about writing that this place doesn't live up to the hype JUST so it didn't get more traffic and could be available any time we want to come back. But that wouldn't be fair game to Lourdes, who was great and helpful. I have to confess that this place is simply AMAZING! The location is ideal, and the premises are perfect!! The apartment has a great view, and the sound of the waves are so soothing. Kitchen is equipped with pots and pans, utensils, bowls, plates and cups. You have private access to the beach and a couple of restaurants at walking distance. If you want to discover Puerto Rico rent a car! The unit includes a private parking space so that was a plus. The building does not have a pool but it is just so comfortable and intimate that we didn't even miss it. And besides you couldn't possibly find a bigger pool than the ocean. Thank you Lourdes for offering such a well-kept place.

The beachfront apartment was super. The view was unbelievable! Everything was clean and nice. Everything was very close- mostly within walking distance. The public transportation was just a minute away & there were many neat places to eat. Arnold was great- he helped with anything we needed and even called us a taxi when our language barrier was preventing us from communicating w/ the cab companies. The view and the sound of the waves was spectacular every day and night. Being in between the 2 beaches was awesome! Great overall- I would recommend staying here.

We had a wonderful vacation at this property. The view from the condo was wonderful and the quick access to the beach made relaxing easy. It was nice to have a secure parking spot for our rental car. The location allowed us to walk to multiple restaurants and to easily get a cab to Old San Juan. Our only recommendation was some bar height chairs for by the window to sit and enjoy the view of the ocean (for those of us who don't get to see it very often!)

The apartment is beautiful. It was very clean and the views are amazing. Lordes the owner even supplied the hairdryer that I requested. It is right on the beach and walking distance to walgrrens, restaurants, supermarket. On site parking and secure gated entrance is also a plus. Washer and dryer on site was a nice benefit. City bus stop only blocks away to take you to Old San Juan and Forts. Our only complaint was the bed was too hard. An easy fix would be a foam memory topper. I would definately reccomend this property to friends and family. Caretaker is also very nice and helpful.

Owner response: Hello Debbie, I am so glad you enjoyed your stay at the Endless Summer rental. I understand your comment about the bed. However, we like firm mattresses. Something I really dislike when I travel is sitting on a bed that is too soft. It seems lots of people have slept on it or the mattress is old. So, we make sure are mattresses are firm. Thank-you for the advice. I will get the foam you suggest. Hope you come back soon. Lourdes

This was an apartment with a great location near the beach, restaurants, some shops and the bus stop. The rooms were good for 2 people traveling together and yet wanted some separate space as well. The kitchen was nice for having some food on hand and not having to worry about buying dishes, glasses, etc. The onsite manager and owner were both wonderful and easy to work with. It was really great to go to bed and wake to the sounds of the ocean. Thanks for a great first experience with Puerto Rico!!

My husband and I stayed in this apartment the week of Thanksgiving 2012. It took me a while to write a review because our stay was so awesome that it deserved taking the time to sit down and write about it. But now that the Holidays are over, I can actually take some time and share about our experience. My husband and I travel to PR at least two or three times a year as our family live there. We always stay with my parents, but this time we want to do something different and have some time for ourselves. This was the greatest time we had in many years traveling to PR. The apartment view is just amazing. The location is perfect! This was the best "routine" we had in years; each day earlier in the morning we walked the beach, and after our walk, we had breakfast in a restaurant/bar that is just in front of the ocean, close by the apartment (just few steps away). The apartment is completely equipped with all you need. Well decorated, neat and clean. However, I have to admit that we had no time to even watch TV there (to which we are addicted), because the ocean sound was so incredible that you just stay there in the window watching the beautiful view, listening to the ocean and watching the sunsets. We just loved it! We highly recommend this place! No other place to be and experience happiness!

We really liked this property. The communication with the owner was pretty good and the caretaker was very nice! The property was very secure and the apartment was pretty well maintained and quite clean. It is a very short walk to two very nice beaches which have plenty of water activities to choose from. Also, there is a rental car facility and bus stop close by which make it very convenient to get out and do other things if you don't get a car. Other guests have left certain items, so before you go to the store, check the cabinets. There is very little outside noise other than the roar of the ocean which is directly below the windows. It was very relaxing! We would definitely stay here again.

We arrived late at night and it took us time to settle down. Once we were settled we realized the value of the property. Excellent location right at the Ocean. What was good about it: 1. Ocean front location. Close to Hilton and Ritz Carlton which is the landmark of this city. Nice restaurants around the area. 2. Excellent ocean views. When you open the window you can feel the cool ocean breeze very refreshing. 3. The care taker Mr. Arnold was very accommodating and helpful. He is a gem of a person. He gave us ride to the airport and was available whenever we needed him. 4. Very close to the beach on either side. The beach is right across the property. Suggested Improvement: 1. The small window behind the bedroom is not sealed and you can hear noise from the neighboring restaurant. We only found the noise over the weekend and it was there till early morning, If there is a way to seal the window then it will solve the problem 2. Queen bed it was little bit small for us. 3. Lack of air conditioning in the living room. The bedroom air conditioner is not powerful enough to cool the living area especially during the day time. Maybe one more air conditioner will certainly help. 4. 21" TV was too small for living room. It can have a bigger TV

What an absolutely great place to spend our honeymoon. The actual condo is as described and the pictures are real! The property is secure and has an access gate where by you walk down a few steps and onto the beach. A previous vacationer who mentioned about the music being too loud is mistaken. The music coming from the restaurant ended on our stay at 10pm on a Wednesday night and 11pm on a Saturday night so unless you plan on being in bed by 8pm it is not a problem at all. There is a well stocked, modern, "Pueblo" supermarket nearby as are a few restaurants and entertainment walking distance from the condo along Isla Verde Avenue. The airport is 2.7 miles away, as per my GPS and noise from takeoffs and landings are not a concern. There are hotels and condo's far closer to the airport that WOULD have a problem but not this one! Overall my review for our 1 week stay was no less than EXCELLENT. Thank you to Lourdes and to Arnaldo!

Where do I start?! The condo is quaint in size but absolutely perfect for a couple! My fiancee and I truly enjoyed our stay!! The sound and view of the ocean truly made us feel like we were in paradise. The other reviews do not exaggerate...you really do feel like you're on top of the ocean. If you jumped out your window you'd probably land in the ocean (although I would highly NOT recommend that as you probably would not land safely!) The condo had everything we needed from an iron and ironing board to beach chairs and towels. The location in Isla Verde is great for getting anywhere of interest on the north side of the island. The drive to Fajardo and El Yunque was not so bad either. The condo is close to the freeway and there are lots of things to do nearby that are walking distance. Pinones is a short drive from the condo if you're interested in trying some of the best fried food and batidas (shakes) on the island at local (rather than inflated tourist) prices. Lourdes was extremely responsive and detailed and the transaction went flawlessly. Arnold, the caretaker, was awesome!! He was more than helpful and accomodating. It was great knowing that he lived just one floor above ours if we needed him. As far as safety goes, not for one moment were my fiancee and I concerned about walking outside the condo. The condo is in a quiet residential area as opposed to on the main strip next to the large hotels (such as the San Juan Casino & Hotel) but that is exactly what I liked about it. We could walk to the busy tourist strip and the large hotel area in minutes and then come back to our quiet little paradise at the end of the night. I would definitely consider renting here again on a future trip. :)

My husband and I stayed here for a few nights in May of this year. The good parts: The condo is right on the water, within a very quick walk to a great beach right across the street. The caretaker was very friendly and helpful. The views were amazing. The bad parts: The noise from the restaurant bar next door was what we went to sleep by rather than the lull of the ocean, that and the planes taking off and landing from the airport. The photos of the furniture taken in the pictures was not correct. There was only a very uncomfortable small bed to sit on in the living room with three pillows to support your back against the wall. Not the red futon type couch in the pictures. There was also a leather recliner and no other comfortable sitting space in the place. There were no garbage cans anywhere, and the towel rack in the bathroom kept falling off the wall so the only place to hang a wet towel was in the closet in the master bedroom. While I agree the location is great, please know that if you are looking for quiet and just the sound of the ocean, you will not find it here. The music from restaurant and the crowds of people still drinking on their outside deck until all hours, and the airport noise, really took away from this lovely area for us.

Owner response: We are sorry you found the area noisy, but this is the first time a guest complains about noise. When my husband and I want to take some time off and relax, we often stay in the apartment -when it is not rented- and we have never heard the planes take off or land or heard people talking outside. If all windows are open you might hear the distant sound of the planes but at night, with the windows in the room closed and the a/c turned on, our experience is, there is absolutely no noise. Sometimes we have left the windows open to hear the ocean waves but, sincerely, have never had any situation like the one you have described. You should have mentioned the problem with the towel rack, we would have had it repaired immediately. We like our guests to feel good and enjoy each minute of their stay. That is why we have a caretaker in the building to make sure all is well. As for the red futon, unfortunately another guest damaged it and we had it replaced with a smaller one temporarily, because we had not time to buy a new one between guests. We provide a garbage can underneath the sink and a box of garbage bags, too. Thank-you for your feedback. We had the towel rack replaced today and we will be installing a new sofa/bed this week. Hope you come back soon!

Staying in this gorgeous apartment absolutely made our vacation! The owner and manager were very helpful and friendly and a pleasure to talk to. The pictures on VRBO do not do the view jusitce, it is absolutely breath taking, and you really need to hear the ocean with it for the full experience! The apartment was emmaculately clean, the bed and futon were comfortable, and the ac unit kept the temperatures cool despite the weather outside being 90+ every day of our trip. The surrounding beaches were fantastic, and the restaraunt next door at La Playita is a must try if you're staying here. The area is very safe and tourist friendly, within walking distance of the main ave in Isla Verde, less than 1 minute to walk to either beach. Easy access to the main interstate highways if you have rented a car and want to explore the island, or a short cab ride to old san juan! I vacation in Puerto Rico often and will always stay here!

Words cannot explain how fantastic this apartment made our trip. The owner was very accommodating and even agreed to let us check in at 1:30 AM. Where do I begin. When we arrived, the apartment was absolutely immaculate. This apartment set the tone for our romantic getaway. The location was perfect: Safe, clean, quiet, close to the city and far enough away from the resort tourists such that there was never a disturbance heard from the apartment or from the street level. I would recommend this property for any person, couple, or couple of friends looking to explore PR, or just sun bathe ( btw , you can get to the beach by just walking out the gate downstairs !!) or just getaway for a little tropical relaxation. I guess the tell all sign is that we cannot wait to go back! We will definitely be staying here again. Many thanks to the owners and landlord for this wonderful experience.

What a vacation! The condo was everything that it was advertised as. The views were as shown in the listing, only better when you're there in person. The condo was comfortable, clean, and just right for a week's stay. We really loved the constant sound of the ocean! The walk to the beach is very short. We were early morning beach walkers, and there was no better way to start the day. Our recommendation for a day at the beach - rent an umbrella and chairs and don't pass up the opportunity to get a delicious "ice" from the vendor walking the beach. My favorite was coconut. We highly recommend the catamaran/snorkel trip on Barefoot, and the Bioluminescent Kayak adventure through Kayaking Puerto Rico. LaPlayita was a very good restaurant. We ate delicious breakfasts a couple of mornings at Piu Bella. The pizza restaurant (which also serves breakfast & lunch) at the El San Juan Hotel served an excellent lasagna and spaghetti carbonara. The walk to the Pueblo supermarket isn't that long, and the store has everything you could want. We took the bus into Old San Juan. The ride was a bit long (45 mins to 1 hr), but at $0.75 per person each way, it's quite a bargain. For authentic Puerto Rican food in Old San Juan, try El Jibarito on Calle de Sol. If we were to return to Puerto Rico for a vacation, we would definitely stay here again!

We stayed for 8 days in Jan 2012. The views from this condo are fabulous. The beach was right by the condo, with beautiful walk in both directions, and you can rent chairs for the day. Metropol restaurant was excellent, and Piu Bello had great ice cream. It was convenient being near the supermarket and pharmacy. Everything was within walking distance and the only days we needed a cab were to go to downtown SJ when we sent to see the forts, and the art museum, the pigeon park, and the art galleries. We ate at cafe berlin &dragonfly, and went over to the bacardi factory. The manager Lourdes and her on-site coordinator Arnold were great to work with. I hope we can come back and stay again soon!

just returned from a week at this unit. it is a good unit with wonderful views. the kitchen was well equipped. pictures are accurate. the unit is in very good condition. any problems are very quickly answered by Arnold, who lives in the same building and manages the unit. off street parking is nice, but the spaces are tight for a minivan. It was easy to get to the beach from the unit. umbrella and chair rental is close by, in front of the ESJ. plenty of hot water for the shower. I would stay here again. easy walk to walgreens. short drive to airport.

I had the opportunity to rent this condo for one month in Sept 2011. I needed a place to get away to study for a professional exam and this was the perfect place. Absolutely gorgeous view creating a very peaceful and serene atmosphere. I was able to be isolated when I needed and when I needed to get outside the beach was right there. Setting up the rental was quite easy and the owner of the apartment was quick in responding and responding to my needs. The apartment is in walking distance to grocery stores and other stores for necessities. As well, very close to several restaurants as the El San Juan hotel and casino. Though I will say I never felt like I was in the center of a loud hectic touristy area. It was also very easy to catch a taxi when needed from the hotels to visit other parts of the city. The apartment has all the amenities including high speed wireless internet. It has great security and a place to park a car if you so chose, though not necessary. I hope to visit again and would recommend without hesitation.

I was lucky enough to rent this condo for 10 days this August. The contact for the property was prompt in her replies and very cordial. Her assistant was a good ambassador to the city as well. The view from the condo was AMAZING. You can kick back in that leather chair and just stare out the window for hours. Open the windows and a cut-out in the front door and let the crossbreeze flow through the living room. You can hear the waves. Have a tropical fruit drink in your hand, and you will be happy indeed. The location of the condo was great too. Walking distance to 2 different beaches, a Walgreen's, and a really good restaurant called Piu Bello. With a little more effort you can walk the main strand of Isla Verde, where lots of restaurants are located. A grocery store is near by as well, called "Pueblo". For an amazing dinner, drive a few minutes away to an art cafe' called "Laurel," which is in the Museum of Art... Speaking of, we drove to Old San Juan, which took about 15 or 10 minutes. We also drove to the El Yunque rainforest in the opposite direction, which took about 40 minutes. We stopped on the way to El Yunque and bought some coconut and bananas from a roadside vendor. Paradise! The condo was very secure behind some gates, and located in a pretty well-lit and active area. I didn't feel uncomfortable walking around with my husband at night. I love this condo. If I come back to Puerto Rico, this is where I'm staying.

Owner response: Thank-you so much Dawn. I hope you and your husband come back soon!

I don't know how people pay for a studio when you can get such a great one bedroom for the same rate. This apt is right on the water! The beaches surround the place. Everything is new and all we needed was provided. And if we had any problem, Lourdes was there to solve it. That's what we liked! Such great communication with her right from day 1 when we sent our inquiry. My husband and I really recommend this place and we will definitely return maybe this winter when it's cold in VT.
