  We stayed at this home for two weeks in March. Unfortunately the weather was not very consistent, but with that, the layout of this home came in handy. We could all spread out - watch movies, read, write, play games, etc. while being stuck indoors on the very rainy days. The location is excellent to many beaches and good restaurants. Also, grocery stores are close-by. The bedrooms were spacious and ample for our family. They could stand to put TVs in all bedrooms (only two of them have television) but we probably noticed that more since our weather kept us indoors on a few days. All beds were very comfortable. Both master suites had excellent mattresses. Please note, there is only one bath tub in the home,1st story Master suite. This could be issue when traveling with small children. The home could use some attention with regard to windows and sliding doors - screens off the track, some windows would not open, and without air conditioning that limits "tradewind" breezes. I would suggest the owners update and fix, especially since the pool has no gate around it. Having a secure screen and sliding doors to the outside is paramount when traveling with young children. The management company was great - answered emails and phone calls, even with the extraordinary storms going on! All-in-all, a good rental experience.

  Highly recommended for a family group. We were a group of seven spanning three generations, but the house could comfortably have accommodated ten. It's nice for a vacation rental to be large enough for everyone to have his/her own space. This was perfect: spacious living areas, lovely bedrooms, large kitchen, plenty of bathrooms. It's beautifully maintained and clean and well-equipped. Conveniently located. And the views are fabulous! We loved watching the golfers; the lanai overlooks the first hole at Kiahuna Golf Club. Beautiful ocean view beyond the golf club. Darrell, the pool-maintenance staffer, was very friendly. The Remax management was very helpful. We had a question about accessing the wi-fi, and called the property manager after 6pm on the Friday before Christmas. She interrupted her Christmas shopping to answer our question, and called back a couple hours later to make sure our problem had been solved. Pay attention to the quiet hours! The neighboring houses are quite close together. Somehow we missed the fact that quiet hours start at 10pm, and on our last night there we were oblivious to the time. We crowded outside for some poolside photos shortly after 10pm. Admittedly, we were rather raucous for about 15 minutes. We ended up getting a call from management that a neighbor had complained. Our apologies to the neighbor, and to management! A perfect vacation house for our needs--we hope to stay there again someday!

  I can not begin to explain how wonderful this home is. The layout is perfect for large groups. The beds are so so comfortable. I was sad when we had to leave but happy that we had an amazing vacation. The pool guy was so nice and kept the pool looking great! The house was stocked with everything we needed and more. The pool was perfect and we got a lot of use out of it. I can not say enough wonderful things about this home. Trust me you will love it.

  We rented this house for a family vacation. We had our kids, the grand kids and even Mom with us. I just can't say enough good things about this house.The house is absolutely beautiful. We all had the most relaxing time of our lives and that is exactly why we planned this trip. We definatley would recommend this house to any large groups of families or couples. The pictures on the vrbo site doesn't even compare to what will greet you as you walk through the front door.The house is so open and airy you feel as though you have gone to heaven. We all had a real hard time even thinking we had to leave and when we did it was sad.The people of Kauai are so nice and treat you as if you were a local. My husband and I have stayed in Poipu before so we knew that was where we wanted to go again.When we take our trip to Poipu again, with family in tow, we will definately be staying at this house again.The only thing you need to bring is the food because the house is equipped with everything else you can think of, right down to laundry detergent, even toys for the kids for the pool, just check out the garage before you buy any floaties or anything for the pool.The pool guy was even awesome, he had a lot of good stories to tell and a lot of info about the area,he came 3 or 4 times during our stay, kudos to the pool guy!!! The grounds are kept immaculate, the house,well do I need to say more about the house, simply put it is AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The view,BEAUTIFUL, the locals, WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!! We will definatley come back!!!!!! LOVE EVERYTHING ABOUT ALL OF IT!!!! The best 11 day trip yet!!! Thank you again for a great time :-)))) The family from Oregon
