The main level features the dinning room, living room, kitchen, laundry, 1/2 bath, and bedroom with queen bed. The second story has four bedrooms: master with a king bed and impressive master bath, bedroom #2 has two bunk beds with doubles on the bottom, bedroom #3 has three queen beds, #4 has a queen bed. There is also a full bath on the second story. The main level offers a balcony and screened porch that overlooks the beautiful country setting. Soak up the sun from the meticulously landscaped pool area. As an added bonus there is a pool house with a futon for additional sleeping. The pool house features a kitchen and 1/2 bath. The lower level walks out to the pool. The lower level is great for entertaining there is a bar, pool table couches, big screen tv. There is also ample seating for formal and non formal meals. Great home for the ultimate family vacation. There is an enormous yard, great for volleyball and bonfires. There is a pool table, bar, foseball, firepit and volleyball.

We just returned this evening from our vacation. Even though from Chicago this home is only 90 minutes away, it felt as if we were a million miles away from our city life. The house was clean and well maintained. The decor was pleasant and had a very relaxing feel to it. The pool and landscaping is meticulously tended to. There is a beautiful waterfall and lily pond on the property. The sunsets from the balcony and the views are breathtaking. My family never felt the need to leave the property except for a stroll on the country roads. There was an issue with the cable that was dealt with within the first 24 hours of our stay.We also had a problem with the heater in the pool. The rental company had a very friendly knowledgeable maintenance man out to fix it in about 1.5 hours maybe even less than that. The only complaint we had was that the tvs were a bit challenging to operate and there were no flat screens and one dvd player. There was one or two vcr's in the house-which was a little surprising-but the house did have quite an extensive selection of videotapes to choose from- we actually had great movies to watch! There were some areas in the house that needed a little bit of maintenance and some small areas that had not been cleaned in awhile-but that did not in any way detract from our stay. I would highly recommend this home to anyone especially people with children-it is very spacious and the acreage is great for volleyball, football, baseball and almost anything. It is no wonder they call the area rolling prairie. It defiantly lives up to it's name. It is obvious that the owner takes pride in his home- and he should because it is well deserved! We hope to be back next year!Recommended for: Girls getaway, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.
