Kensington & Chelsea house description
Sloane Square is one of the most desirable areas in central London. This reputation is due to the fine restaurants, shopping, excellent transportation, and fine houses and flats. Sloane Square Tube Station has both the Central and District lines which offer excellent transportation throughout the city. But there is one real benefit to living in the residential areas around Sloane Square: it is quiet. The property the London Connection is offering is a mews house in a very quiet location very near Lower Sloane Street, just across the street from the Sloane Club. The location is amazing. The accommodation is a three-minute walk to the tube station, 5 minutes to the Duke of York Plaza on the King's Road, and ten minutes to Harrods. Carafini, a very famous Italian restaurant, is just on the corner, and along Lower Sloane Street a visitor will fine an Italian market, a small food market, a tailor, and wonderful antique shops--some of the finest in London. Some of London's finest antique shops and designer shops are along Pimlico Road and Holbein Place including Lord Linley's retail store. The historic Royal Hospital of Charles II is around the corner, and a lovely walk through Eaton Square is five minutes distance. It is perfect. I love the walk up Sloane Street past Cadogan Square and the old Cadogan Hotel. Lilly Langtree lived on Pont Street, just up the way.
The property we are offering in located in one of the quiet mews streets in this desirable area. It is a house on three floors with all the charm and beauty one would expect in this affluent area. On the ground floor, there are two double bedrooms--one with two twins, and one with a double bed. A full bathroom with shower over the tub, wash hand basin, and loo is attached to these two bedrooms. Up a very small flight of original period stairs one will find an elegant living room filled with beautiful paintings, 18th century furniture, and fine bronze sculptures including a large pair of bronze polo ponies and riders. The dining table in a separate eating area will seat six/seven persons. The kitchen has all machines including microwave, oven and hob, dishwasher. A washer/dryer is located in a hidden cupboard in the bedroom on the ground floor. On the top floor of this lovely mews are two double bedroom, both with queen size beds, good storage, and large windows. Each bedroom on this floor has its own en suite bathroom, one with a shower stall, sink, loo and the other bathroom with tub, shower, and loo. The bedrooms are filled with beautiful decorative items. A mews property of this size and quality is a very rare offering for short-let visitors to London. They are such desirable properties, and a visit to London in this accommodation is fantastic. Imagine, four bedrooms and three bathrooms in a mews house just off Sloane Square in Belgravia. Fantastic indeed. If you are in this budget, this is a first rate property. Visitors to this property must be aware of the fabulous collection of artwork and 18th century furniture in the house and are willing enjoy being careful in these surroundings. This is a far cry from a casual beach house in Florida. You will love staying here. It is really fabulous. By the way, my favorite restaurant in London is just around the corner on Holbein Place. Check out my blog by Googling, London Connection Blog. Where I write about the two excellent restaurants near this accommodation. There are two televisions--one in the master bedroom and one in the lounge and Internet is installed in the house Perfect! HIGH-SPEED INTERNET with wireless router (802.llb/g) has been installed for those traveling with computers. Property is designated non-smoking.

This is the perfect London Mews property. We were 6 adults and needed to have private bathrooms for each of the 3 bedrooms. There are 2 stall showers, although the one on the top, third, floor is small. The appointments throughout made us feel as if we were visiting someone's home, rather than a commercial space. The beds, linens, kitchen supplies were all excellent. We had a slight water problem and it was rectified in very short order. The location is ideal: very quiet but only a few streets from Sloan Square with its tube station, bus stops, shops and restaurants. All in all HomeAway came through once again. This was our 3rd time using their properties. I recommend them highly.

The flat was, quite simply, perfect
The flat was, quite simply, perfect. We were seven adults (three married couples + me) in London to celebrate my 40th birthday and the flat could not have been a better fit. The space was just right, enough so that we could spread out, but cozy enough that we felt like we were in a proper English Mew house. Especially impressive was the amount of hot water! I don't know how big the hot water heater must be, but to provide for seven hot showers every morning! The convenience also could not be beat, we made great use of the neighborhood itself as well as access to the Tube. I have been singing the praises of the flat and, will be a repeat customer!

Great Location, Great Accomodation,
Great Location, Great Accomodation,
This home was extremely well appointed, looked just like the pictures, had everything one needed and the location was great. All the beds were very comfortable and sheets/pillows were nice. The area is full of great restaurants as well as high end shopping. The TUBE was less than a five minute walk as were buses to all the sights and areas of interest. Climate control worked well and kept us cosy the whole time. Management was very attentive to our every need. The pick up at airport and back was efficient and easy. As a VRBO landlord, interior decorator and frequent traveler, I would recommend this property without reservation!

One of the best locations
I rented this house for the week of the Queens jubilee with my cousin, her daughter, and granddaughter . This house was perfect for our needs . The house is lovely and filled with antiques and art . I loved the historical articles on the wall about the Royal Family as you went up the stairs . We each had our own bedroom with en suite bathroom . I got the one with the large bathtub which was a plus for me ! The bedrooms upstairs were cozy and comfortable . The living room, kitchen, and dining room are on the second floor and provided a beautiful and comfortable place to gather . The kitchen was clean and functional . The dining room was very elegant . This is a mews house in one of the best locations in London. Everything was a short walk away . Sloane Square is beautiful and rich with history . We couldn't have done better and the price was very good . Be sure and visit Mr. Thomas Moores website. It is excellent . The bonus to the house was David the driver. He was fun, informative and a pleasure to be with.

we loved it!!!
Our stay in London was great. I greatly appreciate arranging the pick up at the airport, and my special request of the blender. Your home, was a home to us for a week and it made us feel, as if we were living in London again. The location was out standing and the place was very comfortable, we loved it!!! Thank you

Thank-you for sharing your home with us.
We had a wonderful week in London. Thank-you for sharing your home with us. With all the wonderful memorabilia and artifacts in the house, we were tempted to spend our whole visit just exploring the house! The layout was perfect for the seven of us. We especially appreciated the attention to detail that made everything "just work." There were two irons, several hair dryers, and plenty of adapters for those pesky Yankee two-prong plugs. There was sugar in the press and marmalade in the fridge. The neighborhood has quite and has charm, and it is very convenient to the tube. Our lodgings was the high point of our stay, not just a place to settle at night. Again, our thanks. Hope to meet you sometime. All the best.

We stayed here in April and loved the home and location. I would stay here again in a heartbeat! I have been to London about 10 times and this by far was the best place I have stayed. I hope to stay here again.

The location is excellent being about a block from
The location is excellent being about a block from the Sloane Square tube stop. Having lived in Chelsea for several years, it was nice to be "home" again and the accomodations were sufficient that we could bring one of our families, two adults and two kids, with us and not trip over each other. The bedrooms were well situated on the ground and second floors. The second floor had two bedrooms and two baths. There were a few relatively minor problems with the property which we were able to overcome having been forewarned at checkin that things like the hot water had to be reset twice daily, etc., a small inconvenience. This is about the sixth or seventh time we have used London Connection as our rental agent for London and will do so again. Christina is very helpful as was Geisla Oswald. The drivers were helpful despite one having a breakdown on the way to Heathrow. All in all, a good experience helping us to return to and share a city we have lived in and learned to love. Even the granddaughters, aged eleven and seven, indepently said they would like to live in London, a feeling shared by their grandparents.

The apartment is fascinatingGuest comment entered by owner
The apartment is fascinating
My classmates and I were lucky enough to stay at the 4-1 Sloane Garden Mews property a couple months back. I never took the time to tell you what an amazing time we had, but while I was just raving to my sister about our stay, I thought it was high-time I wrote! (I couldn't figure out how to post it on your website) We are seven graduate students in Arts Management, studying for a semester in Milan. Our professor mentioned that we might be interested in seeing the Frieze Art Fair - and our home school agreed to foot the bill, so why say no? Finding 3-4 hotel rooms proved difficult, plus, we wanted to have a 'group hang' place as well. Thanks to a recommendation from two previous guests of London Connections, we found your site and were able to book the 4-1 property. I lived in London for a few months in undergrad, and have visited numerous times, but even I had no idea how lucky we were. The apartment is fascinating, quirky, decorated in every inch, and took up about half my photo album from my weekend. The location could not have been better (or swankier!) in terms of neighborhood or proximity to the Tube. We had a few newbies in our group, and only a few days to show them all the sites in between "homework" so we ran all around. But each night we were thrilled to come home to the cozy apartment in Sloane Garden Mews, curl up in the sitting room and chat. A stop at Partridge's, next to the Saatchi Gallery, got us provisions for the weekend, and we walked up and down window shopping on King's Road. Also thanks to Cristina and all those who did such a quick turnaround for us, and allowed us to drop our bags upon our morning arrival, and smoothed the logistics so check-in didn't slow us down a bit. The apartment was clean, very well-maintained, and had every comfort we needed, including TV (which we hadn't seen in English in 2 months!). We loved Tom's Kitchen for an absolutely incredible brunch, as well as the The Botanist for a pint. The apartment felt so "London-y" and was the perfect base for our wonderful weekend! I never want to stay anywhere else! Thank you,
