  Place is very spacious and has a lot of natural light. Fireplace is cozy and kitchen has everything needed for quality cooking. Easily accommodated two families with a teenager, two kids and a baby. Pretty safe for 9-month old crawling around. Gorgeous sunsets.

  What a beautiful, brightly-lit, clean and well-furnished home to relax in after a full day of outdoor summer activities in Lake Tahoe area! We had the home for the entire week and we hope to do the same again next year! Thank you again for sharing your home!

  We had a great time at the house. The owner was very prompt and professional before, during, and after the stay. The house was clean and the great room was a perfect gathering spot for our family. The only drawback was that the road is fairly noisy and the deck only has two chairs. Not enough seating for outdoor meals. All in all a nice place and a great vacation.

  What a lovely house in a lovely area! We were delighted by how many trees there were (there muse be regulations about not cutting them down), and how spaced out the houses were. The house itself is clean and has all the necessary amenities without being cluttered. There were 6 of us and this was the perfect number for this house. The fireplace warmed the place up in a snap, and the walls of windows looking out into the trees are wonderful. We got a foot or so of snow overnight and the plow came around 9am. I would definitely recommend this house (and Tacos Jalisco - yum!).

  We stayed here for a second time in November. The kitchen is well stocked, and the views from the great room are amazing. It's close to walking trails along the creek, and a short drive to downtown Truckee.

  Stayed here over the Labor day weekend and loved it. Very spacious and everything was new...the decks were just finished too. I'll definitely be booking this place during the winter.

  We spent an amazingly relaxing week here during the summer and loved it! The great room is airy and comfortable, the master bedroom is big and has a nice balcony, and the downstairs bedrooms are comfy, with their own full bathroom. There's a great trail across the street that goes along Alder Creek. We also really loved the hot tub in the back. You can't tell from the picture, but there are lots of trees around the sides and in the back, giving good privacy. The location is also great--just a few minutes from Truckee and maybe half an hour from Lake Tahoe.

  This place is located in a quiet part of Tahoe Donner. The house itself is set back from the street and we heard no noise the entire weekend we were there. That gave us the much needed rest we were hoping for. Conveniently, the house is also very close to the Trout Creek Recreation Center and the Equestrian Center, both facilities which the kids really enjoyed. Everything in the house is new, which is a welcome change and something that sets it apart from other places we have rented in Tahoe. When was the last time you saw Organic cotton towels and All Clad cookware at a Tahoe rental? As a family of four we had more space than we needed and can without question recommend this place.

  My husband and I stayed here with our school-age boys in mid-June. We had a relaxing weekend. The house is clean and well equipped, and the kids enjoyed playing in the yard and taking a walk in the nearby Alder Creek. We picked up food from the local supermarket and used the grill every day. The house is set back from the road in a quiet setting, and the views from the living room and deck set the tone for a relaxing day. We appreciated the proximity to mountain bike trails and Donner Lake. We'll definitely stay here again.

  Stayed here in early May to see the first leg of the Tour of California bike race at Northstar and Squaw (about 20 minutes from here). That day’s race ended up being cancelled because of snow, but fortunately we were staying in some nice accommodations! Even though this had to be one of the biggest snow years ever, the roads and driveways were always cleared and we were able to get in and out very easily. The house itself is wonderful and very comfortable. Everything was in like-new condition and well-equipped. The great room is bright with large views. We like to cook and found making meals in the large kitchen enjoyable – plus the open concept let’s you interact with everyone, see the game on the big screen, and keep an eye on the little ones. There’s a nice little market a short drive away near the golf course. Down the hill there’s a Safeway, coffee shop, and other conveniences. Big plus that my AT&T iphone worked! Wifi also worked great. Looking forward to returning during the warmer months to check out the fishing and grilling on the big deck!
