  From the moment we walked in, the house felt like a home. The area was quiet, and the beach was not overly crowded with hotels. We had plenty of room for the 12 of us,and especially loved the porch overlooking the pool and ocean. The well stocked kitchen was awesome, with a fantastic pantry for storage, a wine cooler and a TV in the eat-in kitchen . Although the ice maker did not work, it wasn't important to us to contact the realtor for repair. Had one issue with the pool after a bad storm, but that was fixed as soon as we called the next day. The five bedrooms are all on the 2nd floor, all with shared bathrooms.(3) There is a bathroom on the first floor as well. The bedroom that had the six twin beds was ideal for the "cousins" and the den attached with the sofa and TV was perfect for the teenagers. There were two set of washers and dryers, one in the garage and one off the bedroom that had the six beds, and trust me, it was so, so convenient! Had plenty of towels to use which was great, and the bedrooms were clean and comfy. It was an extra nice bonus to have use of beach towels that were neatly folded for our use by the door. Our biggest concern was our elderly parents going up and down the steps to the bedroom, but we managed. We wanted to rent in 2013, but our family has grown for our annual Myrtle Beach vacation, so we had to look for a larger house. Hopefully we will get back, because this house was the best rental for us in the last 10 years. Love, love, loved it!

  This house is a dream rental. From the minute we walked in the door until we locked up on our last day, everything was outstanding. The owners have provided everything you could need for a great week at the beach. Had a few questions about the spa and the realtor was right there with the answers. Very professional service. I would recommend this house as the perfect relaxing get away for any and all. Loved the two living rooms, since some of us watch tv and some don't. We had a great time and would love to stay here again. The one recommendation I would make is for a realtors lock box since the rental is so far from the realtors office. This added more than an hour to our 10 hour car ride. Overall, we had a blast and are grateful to the owners for sharing their little piece of paradise with us.

  Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, families with young children, romantic getaway, age 55+, girls getaway.

  It was amazing!! The layout was perfect, it was clean and inviting. The large pool was refreshing, and the access to the beach is so convenient. I would recomend this property to anyone visiting Myrtle Beach.... Can't wait to return!!!!!

  First issue was the wireless not working. Rental agent had typed out incorrectly. This took us two says to get a correct answer. Second issue none of the tv's worked. Seemed as if recent painting had caused all the cable to be disconnected. Why would't the rental office have checked this? Third issue hot tub not heating. Another issue I feel the rental agent should have been aware of. Overall, the hose is beautiful. I would not say that the 6beds in the "kid's" unit are sizable enough for more than one to a bed. The listing shows this area of the house for sleeping of 12. With the size of the house, I would have hoped that there would have been more seating in the family room area. I feel a sectional would work better in this area. Kitchen pots and sons were ample, but would have thought there would be a griddle. Plenty of beach and bathing towels. overall we enjoyed our stay very much. Would have liked for the agent to have been more knowledgeable about the unit. I would have thought with all the issues we had upon arrival that someone from the agent office would have come out to handle the problems. Instead lots of calls on our end to get broken items fixed.

  Owner response: We of course sincerley regret anytime that a guest has a complaint... we have numerous employees that were sent to address each and all of this guests concerns. We called them regarding each problem and its resolution in a timely manner. The first item, we did not even advertise wireless and only advertised that the home had internet.... the owner actually added wi/fi this year. The main TV in the living room was working for this guests entire stay and it was only the upstairs TVs in the bedrooms that were not working. We had a licensed electricain to repair all TVS that were somehow disconnected while the house was being painted. The home just went thru a major renovation over the winter, and the prior 2 guests did not report the TVS as not working as we address all guest complaints in a timely manner. Management does not sit in these homes watching television nor thank goodness do the housekeepers. The 2 previous guests did not report ANY issues and none of these issues are ones that management would have caught per this guests comments. TVS not working nor pools not heating are typically guest genertated calls to action... The comments regarding the sleeping arrangements are not correct... we only advertise 6 twin beds and twin beds only accomodate one person each and not more than 1 person that this guest alludes to. This guest did not ask for a griddle and we would have been most happy to have provided them with a griddle. We are most happy that overall that this guest does state that they enjoyed the stay and from managements perspective, we did everything as quickly as possible as is our standard operating procedure to remedy all of the issues that they addressed with our office... And again and most sincerely we regret anytime a property is less than perfect and certainly regret these complaints. Our bottom line is that we addressed each complaint and had the appropriate personel to respond. Thank you for the opportunity to reply to this email
