You're just steps from the beach and a short walk to the island’s best restaurants, shops, and park. This condominium complex claims the only pier on the Front Beach strand, and it is gated and private for your fishing or relaxation enjoyment. *This unit has Granite Counters and an Under Mount Sink With Pull Out Faucet In the Kitchen. The attractive condo, decorated with a beach cabin palm tree flair is true to its name 'SUMMER SONG' as the wind seems to sing songs of the waves all through the hours, and is situated on the second floor of the center right 'C' building, at the end near the beach, where your bedroom shares no neighboring wall or noise exceot the stairwell but this is generally quiet in the evening hours. The balcony is approx 5' x 12' facing the oceanfront,pool and pier. It affords an unobstructed panoramic view of the ocean,as we are in the right bldg facing the pool,pier and ocean. This view is also shared or available from Living Room and kitchen. The Sunset is very nice over the entrance/ back door area which is also a direct beach front view out beyond the build line of most other condominiums or homes toward Sullivans Island and Breach Inlet. We keep a few beach chairs & mats and some beach toys for guests to use. I also have info for service that will set you up with wood and canvas loungers and umbrellas each morn.
PRIVACY! This condo also offers individual privacy. The hall with built-in bunk beds closes off to be its own private room for smaller guests with a night light and air/white noise machine available. The adults can then go back and forth from balcony/LR/kitchen or to BR thru the seperate bathroom door without waking the kids. The sleeper sofa adds extra sleeping as needed.
We are a block from the Banana Cabana, the One Eyed Parrot, Hucks,Long Island Cafe, Coconut Joe's, and many great restaurants. The world famous Windjammer beach bar offers up nightly entertainment, and Buddy Roe's Shrimp Shack in Mt. Pleasant has the best Lowcountry Shaggin (and fried shrimp baskets!)outside of OD. - Plenty of food right out on the sidewalk in the Isle of Palms from here no need to drive. This Condo Is Walking Distance To Sullivans Island And Fort Moultrie but it is several miles from the unit on some of the most gorgeous beach front I have seen. Fort Sumter And Charleston Harbor Views From The Shores Of Sullivans Island. Absolutely pristine beaches are right out the front door of this units with views of Sullivans and Wild Dunes. The only ocean front pier for miles is private to these units with gated access for fishing or viewing....moreless

My daughter, 2 grandsons (5 years and 6 months), and myself (the traveling grandma) really enjoyed our stay. The property is well maintained, with staff on hand. I can see why the newer laminate floor was installed -- we had to sweep almost every day because we tracked in the sand from the beach even though we tried to be careful. This is a great location for families with young children. There are a few really good restaurants within walking distance, the ocean is beautiful, and the pool is nice and restricted to people staying at the condos. Not the Ritz; but a great place to stay with kids!

My family and I really enjoyed the condo it had everything that we needed which included a very nice size balcony that all four of us could sit outside and enjoy the views. Everything we needed was in walking distance. I can honestly say that I have never dealt with a nicer owner who was willing to help anyway he could. Cant wait to get back to the Isle of Palms and we will be staying there again.

First of all, let me say the location is wonderful; met our criteria of oceanfront with pool. However the condo itself is in serious need of attention. A nice neighbor lady who tried to help us with the door initially (Resort Quest did not provide us with the key code to get in) said it all: "oh, this isn't a good one". There is a big difference between "not fancy", which is fine, & living in squallor, which really negatively impacted our vacation. In particular, every inch of flooring here is just disgusting; I've never seen such a stained carpet (check it out at night with incandescent lighting). I asked to have it cleaned 2x - but they never did. I won't even walk on it barefoot. There is also what appears to be the original 1980's linoleum, which is beyond grungy. One word for you people: PERGO! Wallpaper is peeling off the walls. Almost everything in here is stained &/or broken. The toilet is literally falling into the bathroom floor - leans backward; serious rot there. My family has a nice condo in Maui, so I know of what I speak; the complex has minimum rental standards or it is removed from the rental pool. This unit should be removed! I am so disappointed that the owners don't feel an obligation to their guests to provide at least a minimally maintained unit, and actually inspect it thoughout the high season to make sure everything is OK. TWO BIG THUMBS DOWN.

Owner response: New Floor March of 2012. It sounds like you wanted a corporate hotel. We disclosed that at the end of the summer our privately held unit was worn from all our rentals and I gave you as a tenant a 25% dicount renting the unit for just $ 750 for Labor Day Week. This is a beach front condo on Isle of Palms, SC. which does not have corporate hotels. The walk to "Breach Inlet" takes my breath away even today after going there for 21 years. Suggestion to traveler is to Try "Priceline" for a superb deal in corporate suites of America (Hilton, Marriott etc.). " We are a beach town not a Disneyland."

Why the Owner Chose Isle of Palms:
I started going to the Isle Of Palms after taking a bit of time to start my own business in 1991. I traveled that summer from Charleston to Key West and discovered that it was just easier and much more for us than anywhere on the southeastern US coast. The water and beach just did it for me as the beach is clean and walking areas are extra wide even at high tide you can get down the beach. The convenience to everything to enjoy especially the beach is so delightful and the family can count on no hassles during the day or after dark. So many amenities are nearby such as the Patriots Point Golf Course ( one of my personal favorites) with ocean views from most of the course. Waterfront park is nearby where the family can relax on a wide man made walk jetty onto the COOPER RIVER. Or take a stroll over the Ravenal Bridge on the walk lane - you will not find a more relaxing and exciting walk anywhere. Nightlife in Charleston is jam packed with choices our favorite is a night out at 'Hanks' for a wonderful white table cloth seafood dinner.
