New Oversized LUXURY 800+ sq. ft. Master One Bedroom with Central A/C, Master Bath with tub and shower. Great large balcony with views. This brand new Base Village Unit offers the best of ski-in, ski-out location in Snowmass. Steps from the New Base Village Mall with restaurants, shopping, and right by the new Elk Camp Gondola and Snowmass 6 person Chairlift. The unit is located in Capitol Peak 2B, which is just one building to the Tree House (Kids ski school building). THE UNIT ALSO HAS A QUEEN SLEEPER SOFA, ALLOWING 4 PEOPLE MAXIMUM. MOST IMPORTANT: ALL RATES INCLUDE TAXES of 14.3%. AND 5% SERVICE FEE (is waived if paying by personal check). WINTER RATES AND SUMMER NIGHTLY AND WEEKLY RATES ALSO INCLUDE DAILY HOUSEKEEPING (monthly rental includes 2 hours/week).
The unit comes new and furnished turnkey down to the silverware (built new in 2008). Location, Location, and Location! Also, extra large storage locker downstairs, w/d in unit, parking space in parking garage, elevator right to unit, 2 hot tubs, pool table, and complete fitness area. The only ski storage locker with an electrical outlet for a boot dryer and just 50 feet from the Elk Camp Gondola. No pets or smoking preferred.

EACH NEW 2 BEDROOM UNIT SLEEPS 6 PEOPLE COMFORTABLY. ONE IS A PENTHOUSE CORNER UNIT AND THE OTHER IS RIGHT BELOW THE PENTHOUSE UNIT. BOTH ARE IN BUILDING #2A CAPITOL PEAK, AS MY OWN UNIT. THE WINTER RATES ARE $600 PER NIGHT LOW SEASON, $800 PER NIGHT REGULAR SEASON, AND $1200 PER NIGHT FOR CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS.

*** Don't be fooled by the other Snowmass condos that were built in the 1970's. They may be remodeled but still have thin walls, thin floors, old plumbing, heating, and a lot of stairs. No matter how much you remodel it, they don't compare to these newly built luxury units. And the location to the kids ski school, lifts, shopping, and restaurants cannot be beat.

This was the first trip to Aspen/Snowmass for my wife and I, so we didn't know exactly what to expect as far as accomodations. You will not be dissapointed with Capitol Peak for Snowmass lodging. Location can't be beat and the views are fantastic. You are within walking distance of the grocery store and many village bars/restaurants are right out your back door. There is also a gondola steps away that takes you back and forth to the Snowmass mall where you will find more restaurants, ski shops and shopping. The ski locker was great and the hot tubs were really convenient and never crowded. Daily maid service was also a bonus! We also were able to watch the Super Bowl in HD on a very nice TV. I think you would be hard pressed to find better accomodations in Snowmass!Recommended for: Families with teenagers, sightseeing, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with young children, girls getaway, tourists without a car, people with disabilities.

Yes, I was very please with these new accomodations. Full size gourmet kitchen and located right by everything. Why stay anywhere else? Where to begin? This location, when you have a family, can not be beat in Snowmass Village. This luxury condo is right next to all the main lifts, gondola and the kids ski school. We loved not having to walk up stairs with ski boots on. Elevators make everything easier. We love this complex, as this was our third stay there in one winter season.
