Take your Indonesian holiday luxury to the next level and book an entire island for your group of up to eight adults. Isle East Indies is a small but sparkling jewel amongst the Java Sea’s Thousand Islands, a short distance off the coast from Jakarta. When you walk around your private island (an easy 15 minute stroll), all you see is white sand, turquoise water and emerald forest.
The island’s accommodation consists of four separate houses, spread out so that guests can all benefit from ultimate privacy. The main Joglo features a large living and dining pavilion, as well as two master suites and two bathrooms. The Malay style guesthouse includes a master bedroom and ensuite and the Balinese Lumbung harbours a double bed with a separate shower and toilet area. In addition to the sleeping quarters, a freestanding pavilion has been erected so guests can come together for dinner or drinks.
While on Isle East Indies, do as you please: relax with a good book by the beach or explore your tropical surroundings. Guests can also partake in a number of water sports, from waterskiing and snorkelling to scuba diving and fishing. Feeling adventurous? Take out a kayak and visit the neighbouring islands.
Getting to your private holiday island is quite simple, thanks to our vintage motor sailing yacht, the “Raden Mas”, which greets guests in Jakarta and ferries them away to their very own slice of paradise. This yacht can be used to tour nearby islands for a day or to enjoy a barbeque at sea, under the stars.
Payment is usually accepted in the quoted currency ($) unless the currency and the amount is specifically agreed in advance with the manager / advertiser.

Isle East Indies is set amidst Indonesia’s Thousand Islands (Pulau Seribu), a collection of stunning tropical islands in the Java Sea near Jakarta. Despite its name, The Thousand Islands comprise only 130 small isles surrounded by a National Marine Park and numerous coral reefs.
Approximately forty miles offshore, Isle East Indies is a petite jewel in the Java Sea, accessible via our vintage motor sailing yacht the ‘Raden Mas’. Speedboat transfers are also available for those who prefer the excitement of a speedy journey.
The East Indies experience begins at Jakarta’s Ancol Marina Harbour, where guests board our 60ft vintage motor sailing yacht. The vessel originates from the English town of Cowes on the Isle of Wight, an area synonymous with boat building. Commissioned over 40 years ago by a British aristocrat, she has been immaculately maintained, with timber decks, brass fittings and four cabins characterized by varnished wooden bulk heads and old world charm. Keeping with her aristocratic roots, when she arrived in Indonesia she was renamed ‘Raden Mas’ a Javanese Nobleman’s title.
The journey to your private holiday island takes approximately 4 hours, during which drinks and light refreshments are served. After the meal, guests tend to gravitate towards the shaded deck and laze on the oversized cushions, often spotting dolphins cavorting alongside the bow and watching tiny islands and traditional sailboats float past.
