From the moment we arrived, to the moment we departed, this condo was perfection! The condo was beautifully appointed, clean and well stocked with what we needed. This was my first time renting this unit, but it will not be my last.

My husband and I spent 12 days in this beautiful condo with furnishings like our condo in California. The numerous amenities far exceeded our expectations and was more pleasing then renting a hotel room. The rental portion with Brent, was very easy and professional. We didn't want to leave as it was such a relaxed and enjoyable vacation. There is many things to do here within a short drive. We saw the entire West side of the island. We love Hawaii and the Waikoloa area is much more recommended then the congestion of Kona. We golfed, zip lined and swam with the manta rays. Best vacation ever, thank you for sharing your beautiful condo.

We have been fortunate enough to do a lot of traveling during the past 30 years and have been looking for place to spend part of our winter season. The Fairways Villas resort had been recommended to us by friends that have stayed in this community for a number of years previous. We decided to book with Brent and Crystal not knowing what to expect as this was our first time to this part of the island. The moment we stepped through the door we knew we made the right choice in a place to stay. The previous reviews were all good but you don't really know until you arrive. Brent had looked after all the little details, this condo is not only well cared for but it has all the little extras that you might expect at home. The location backing on the golf course was very private and no issue with noise of any sort. If I had a question about anything, the answer came quickly and always to our satisfaction. Our daughter and family came for a visit, everything was in place for our two small grandchildren. Needless to say, we just loved every minute of our stay in this condo, and in this community. We would recommend staying at this condo without any hesitation. You will not be disappointed.

This is a great condo- it is very clean, well maintained, and well equipped. This unit had everything we needed for our stay, including lots of kitchen equipment for cooking. This unit is also in a great location- a top floor unit with a beautiful view in a secluded part of the Fairway Villas. It is just a short walk to shops/restaurants/starbucks. The owner was very helpful and responsive. I would highly recommend this condo unit.

This is second time we've rented this condo! The decision to rent from Brent and Crystal again for this year's vacation was easy. Photos and description are accurate and this condo is perfect for families. We were 3 adults and two children. As other Reviewers have said, the condo is clean and well maintained, well equipped. The closet in the downstairs guest bedroom is packed with all you need for a day at the beach - boogie boards, swim noodles, backpack beach chairs. We especially loved the portable beach chairs! The condo grounds are quiet and peaceful and public areas (pool, workout room, bbq's) are well maintained. As repeat renters, it really did feel like a home away from home. The owners are reliable and dependable and truly care about their guests. We would definitely recommend this listing for your next vacation. Thanks again Brent and Crystal!

A fantastic place to stay

I don't believe we could have asked for a better place for our family to stay. The condo is easy to find, very well maintained and equiped, and perfectly located for access to the shops and A-bay. We thoroughly enjoyed the pool and the convenience of the bbq's.The grounds were very nice and the view from the lanai in the morning, watching the sunrise, and being able to see the observatory miles away, go without compare. Would recommend Kia Hai to anyone and everyone without hesitation. Looking forward to coming back again. Aloha!

A perfect getaway

We have three kids, two girls and a boy and this place could not have been nicer for our family. All that we needed for the beach was in the closet in the downstairs bedroom. The interior was clean and very well maintained and decorated. We stayed at 3 condos over a two week period on two Islands, and this one was by far our favorite. It was nice that some of the staples that you need but don't think about, like dishwashing detergent and coffee filters were already there. We bought what we needed and left behind the non perishables what we didn't use for the next user. You could tell that Brent and Crystal want you to have a good time and enjoy your stay. Brent called to check on if we needed anything, and there was a very handy guide that they had prepared with all sorts of good info in a binder on the table. The location was perfect for getting to the best beaches on the island. We had a fantastic vacation and the kids are already asking when we can go back!

We absolutely loved our stay at at Kia Hai! The pictures just don't do it justice! This complex is like an oasis after you drive from the airport, through the beautiful lava rock terrain and then onto the Waikola Beach resort area. The property is beautifully maintained with flowering trees and plants and has a great pool and hot tub. The condo is very easy to find in the complex and parking was never a problem and always close by. The Fairway Villas are also within walking distance to both the Kings and Queens shops where you can find shopping and restaurants to suit your needs. We loved being able to use the beach towels, boogie boards, beach chairs, coolers and umbrella for the beach. The furnishing were very comfortable and my kids loved the loft! Also, I must say it was a pleasure doing business with the Smiths. Brent made the rental process very easy and I would love to come back and stay in the future. Aloha!

My family was fortunate enough to rent this villa for a one month period, during which I was able to enjoy all the comforts of a home in paradise! The website description of the unit is very accurate, and it met all of our requirements. The unit was beautiful, immaculate, well appointed, and provides all the necessary items to make certain your stay is comfortable with all the conveniences on hand. The view from the lanai is lovely and we enjoyed watching the various tropical birds play in the palm trees right out front. This was our first visit to the Big Island and the location of the villa is perfect in order to travel to the various destinations around the island. Waikola resort is beautiful and offers a variety of ammenities such as great restaurants and shopping. The owners were very welcoming and accommodated all our requests. I would highly recommend this villa for families or couples seeking a relaxing holiday in paradise!

We just returned from a two week holiday and were very impressed with the condo. The unit was spacious, clean and well equipped. The owners called the first couple of days after we arrived to inquire about any issues we may have had and to insure our comfort. There were 4 adults in our party and we found the place a perfect fit. Coffee on the lanai in the morning was a perfect start to the day and best of all, no pesky bugs! Brent and Crystal have provided a comprehensive binder of information which is a must read to acquaint you with the unit and the area. Nice touch. The complex itself had all of the amenities you would expect and was very quiet in the evening. We noticed what appeared to be fairly regular security patrols in the evening, as we would see them drive by on their golf carts while we were sitting on the lanai. There is ample parking close to the unit. Local shopping/dining was within an easy walk. There were several good restaurants in the immediate vicinity, our favorite being Charlie's Thai Cuisine in Queens Market. If you like spicy food, let him know, he'll crank it up a notch for you. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend this condo to others, and are already considering another stay in the future.

Peaceful Paradise

We loved our stay at Kia Hai where on the third floor balcony you are right at the tops of the palms trees...perfect for watching birds and the golfers.This condo was perfect for our group. My husband and I had the master bedroom, his elderly father had his own room with bathroom close by and my 2 girls stayed in the loft with twin beds.Everything was well stocked with plenty of towels for pool (just steps away) and the beach.You can walk to A-Bay beach at the Marriot hotel which is open to the public and offers lots of activities. The King's Market is only a short walk away and they have a convenience store there along with many other shops/eateries. Queen's Market is across the street with an ABC market offering anything you need for your holiday along with other shops including the popular Starbucks and other restaurants. We love visiting the farmers markets in Hilo on Wednesday and Saturday and our favorite in Waimea (25 min drive) on Saturday's 7-noon. We cooked our dinners each evening using the barbecue facilities by the pool area...a great place to pick up tips from other guests there. The owners here are very attentive with a phone call on arrival and prompt replies to e-mails etc. This well organized and clean condo was perfect in every way for our family and I would recommend it highly.

The condo was very comfortable. Loved sitting on the lanai to enjoy the beautiful views, smells and birds. Especially enjoyed the BBQ area where we could visit with other travellers and get feedback on what to do and see. We rented bikes for 4 days and loved the area for the walking/biking paths and shopping. We will be back!

The condo was great, very clean and had everything necessary to make our stay comfortable.The location is close to shopping, restaurants, golfing and the ocean. It was so nice to have the pool, hot tub, exercise area & B-BQ's right in the center of the complex. We loved the view from the deck and enjoyed having coffee daily in the mornings & evenings. We also appreciated your notes, phamplets, maps and suggestions for places to see. We appreciated having WIFI and long distance phone calls to Canada included in the rental price. Thanks Brent, Crystal & girls for letting us rent your condo. We enjoyed our stay with friends and would love to do this again sometime in the future.

The condo was even nicer than we imagined it would be. It was clean, roomy and well stocked. We ecspecially enjoyed sitting on the lanai in the mornings and evenings. The condo was perfect for our needs! It is in a great location, close to beaches, shopping and attractions. The grounds are beautiful too. The unit was in perfectly clean condition and very spacious. The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, which made it great for enjoying some meals in. We would definately recommend to friends and stay here again on a return trip!

This unit in Fairway Villa in Waikoloa was even better than we expected. Being that the unit is on the top floor, it has nice high ceilings which made it feel large and airy as well as an unusually large lanai. Overall, the complex is well maintained and the unit itself was very clean. We stayed here for just over two weeks - 3 adults and two children. The loft was great for my niece and nephew. The location is convenient within the Waikoloa resort - a short walk to Queens Marketplace and A-Bay beach access. There was an ample amount of towels for both bath and beach which we appreciated. Brent the owner, kindly gave us a welcome phone call upon arrival and was prompt in response for any questions and concerns we had during our stay. We would definitely consider staying here again in the future. Thanks Brent and Crystal for helping us have a memorable vacation!
