The perfect family vacation home.
Located a short walk or drive (3/10’s of a mile) to Ridgevale Beach, this immaculate, bright and spacious home, built in 2001, is designed for ease and comfort. At the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, and overlooking a Chatham Conservation Land naturalized pond abundant with owls, egrets and beautiful song birds, this home is a perfect retreat.
Designed with an open floor plan, the first floor has two story foyer. The living room boasts a fireplace and French door to the charming wicker decorated covered porch which overlooks the pond. The dining area has five large windows and a French door to the large open deck. A gas barbeque is available for delicious casual dining. The fully equipped kitchen with gas stove, microwave, dishwasher and everything a cook could wish for is open to both the living room and dining area. Just off the hallway is a half bath and laundry room. The queen size master suite includes a sleeping room with queen size bed, a private bathroom with a shower and an additional separate bedroom or den with a queen size sofa bed.
Upstairs, there are two spacious bedrooms with two twin beds in each plus a full bath with tub.
Amenities include premium cable TV, DVD/VCR, wood fireplace, WiFi Broadband, gas barbeque, fully equipped kitchen, washer/dryer, basement room, outdoor shower, beach chairs, cooler and beach toys, etc., and a large, private yard.
This house is a ten minute walk to the prettiest beach in Chatham, about a one half mile ride to the Cape Cod Bike Trail, about a two mile easy drive to charming downtown Chatham's wonderful shopping and antiquing, Friday Night Band Concerts, and Chatham A’s Baseball games.
Chatham is a wonderful place for a family vacation. Spend the day basking in the sunlight on our beautiful beaches, visiting our seals and fishing fleet, playing golf or tennis and marveling at the beauty of nature in Chatham’s scenery and Majestic Chatham Lighthouse, then return to our spacious home with air conditioned comfort inside and views of our little bit of paradise .

The property was as good as advertised, well laid out and located on a pretty, quiet zero traffic cul-de-sac. Was ideal for our party, which consisted of 2 grand parents, 2 young parents, with 5 and 2 yr. olds, and their aunt. House was in almost new condition. Layout included well equipped "communal" kitchen for group projects, and a very nice large furnished deck, half under roof.. Walk to two-sided beach ( tidal lagoon on one side, Nantucket Sound on the other) was easy ~ 1/3 mile, along 2-lane road ( but no sidewalks most of way) with occasional 20 - 25 mph traffic. Or drive down to paved parking lot ( $15/day in high season, free other times). Nice beach, for young families to 3-generation families, teens, to seniors too. Owner was helpful in all e-mail communications and placed helpful guidebook in house, with a number of restaurant recommends, all of which were good or better. In addition, the Brewster Fish House ( ~ 20 min. drive ) was very good..
Recommended for:Girls getaway, sightseeing, families with young children, age 55+, families with teenagers.
