Welcome to your home away from home! Our Keystone vacation home, "Rocky Mt. High Cabin", is a 2-bedroom, 3 bath townhome located in the upscale area of Northstar by the Mt. House base area. You won't find a larger 2-bedroom (1400 Sq. Ft) unit with high-end amenities like ours anywhere in Keystone.
Recent upgrades include new carpet, paint, lights, beds, washer/dryer stainless steel appliances and granite kitchen!
We also have a heated, attached garage, outdoor heated pool and indoor/outdoor hot tub for you to enjoy! The pool and hot tub area have a pool house with towels, showers, bathrooms and 2 outdoor gas BBQ grills.
Yes, we are also on the free shuttle bus route to the lifts just a short 4 minutes away!
The gormet kitchen boasts granite counters, stainless steel appliances and everything you will need for a great stay! The kitchen overlooks the main living area where you'll love the floor to ceiling stone fireplace, leather furniture, flat screen HD TV and DVD theater system.
The dining room lies just off the kitchen and has a table with seating for 6 and access to the back deck. A gas grill is conveniently located for your use just outside the back door where you will enjoy beautiful mountain views as you prepare dinner.
Upstairs you will find 2 master bedrooms each with its own bath, one with its own jetted tub. One with a king sleigh bed (what else would you have the the Colorado Mt.'s?) and the other with a queen log bed. You also have your own washer/dryer.
2 levels with soaring ceilings all around so no one above or below you, very relaxing!
We have been renting direct to you for 8 years and have many return guests who love to work direct with the owner and save $$, and who have had the best vacation ever!

What a nice surprise! We have stayed in quite a few condos in the Breckinridge area and most 2 bedrooms do not have very much room. This condo is roomy from the two upstairs bedrooms and baths to the roomy living room. We especially liked the vaulted ceilings, large well equipped kitchen and half bath downstairs. The four of us had a great time fixing Thanksgiving dinner in a very nice well equipped kitchen, and everything worked great. Thanks John, I appreciate your checking on us to make sure our stay was what we expected. You and your condo exceeded our expectations. What a nice surprise!Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, romantic getaway, age 55+, families with teenagers.

What a wonderful place to escape from our desert heat! We enjoyed every minute of our stay at this comfortable, cozy, and conveniently located Keystone townhouse. The owners went "above and beyond" to make us feel welcome. We will definitely have wonderful memories of our time spent in the Colorado Rockies. :)Did you find this review helpful? Perfect, that sums up our stay for 11 days in July, '11. Location was perfect, in the quieter West Keystone area, close to the stables and golf courses, with a party store for quick needs close by. The condo was extremely comfortable, the perfect place to relax after a day of riding, golfing, shopping, walking, etc. Nice having an attached one car garage to pull in for the night and a washer/dryer in unit to keep packing to a minimum. Condo is just as the pictures depict! Well appointed and very clean. Owners, John & Lory, were a pleasure to deal with. Good communication before, during and after our stay. We have never personally met, but were treated as friends. 45 minute ride to the nightspots of Blackhawk & Central City, 45 minutes to Vail, 15 minutes to Breckenridge and 5 minutes to Dillon & Silverthorne, for shopping and dining, if you decide not to cook in, or gas grill provided on deck if you do decide to eat in. We would highly recommend this unit to anyone looking for a comfortable vacation getaway. Summer weather was beautiful, highs in the mid-70s, lows in the high 40s, to beat the city heat. Can only imagine winter is even more spectacular. We look forward to returning in the future, and this will be our first choice. P.S. And I didn't even mention the pool! Very comfortable with lounge chairs, nice size & hot tub only 50 yards from the front door. Enjoyed many afternoons swimming & relaxing poolside, then able to walk back for a quick lunch in the condo, then back to the pool. 1. Went riding at both Keystone Stables and Breckenridge Stables and enjoyed each, with different mountain scenery and good horses and guides. 2. Played golf at both the Ranch & the River courses. Ranch is fun, but River is spectacular with the elevation changes, more forgiving fairways and beautiful creeks running through the course. 3. Dined at MI CASA in Breckenridge for Mexican, Breckenridge Brewery & Dillon Dam Brewery for more traditional American fare, recommend all three. 4. Shopped in Breckenridge, Keystone's River Run Village (where they had a concert that evening) and the Outlets at Silverthorne. All close by and a good way to spend some time. 5. Went gaming in Blackhawk & Central City. Definitely recommend Blackhawk over Central City, nicer, bigger and cleaner gaming floors down in town. Good adult evening entertainment even though no winnings to speak of.Recommended for: Sightseeing, girls getaway, families with young children, adventure seekers, age 55+.

About the owner: We moved to Colorado because we love it so much!! As they say, we were not born in Colorado (it was Minnesota) but we got here as fast as we could!! Thanks for looking, we hope you will stay with us soon!!
Why the Owner Chose Keystone Village, Northstar:
This is our second place we have had in Keystone. Our first was a 1 bedroom in flying dutchman. We sold that a few years ago and purchased our 2 bedroom Northstar unit. We have done a total remodel to it, we know you will love it! Keystone is so great, it really has everything you would want, close to Denver, great skiing, even more things to do in the summer. Very family centered.
The Unique Benefits at this Townhome:
Walking down to the river is the best! Great trails in the summer. It is so fun to be in the Pool and hot tub and be able to look out at the snow covered Mountain peaks! Skiing is world class (the US ski team has trained here). A short walk to the lake to boat and ice skate, fish, shop and eat! Great pizza and treats at the lake! Fun bands in the summer as well. To much to list!!
