  My husband and I were extremely pleased with the accomendations at the Creekside House, it was clean and had all the amenities we needed for entertaining family and friends that were in town for our daughter's wedding. The location was great...close to town and close to the wedding site. The owner was extremely friendly and thoughtful...I especially liked the fresh flowers. It was amazing...we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We would definitely recommend renting this house to anyone visiting SLO.

  Recommended for: Age 55+, pet owners, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, sightseeing.

  This is my 3rd time using VRBO and I have never been disappointed! Once again, the pictures did not do it justice! I am an alumni of Cal Poly and my trip included meeting 7 other alumnus for the weekend to relive our love of SLO :). We all could not get over what an amazing house this was and Bree was so sweet to leave fresh flowers on the table to welcome us! The house was definitely a better option than getting a hotel and allowed us to spend more time together. This was one of the cleanest rentals I've ever stayed in (we could still smell cleaner when we arrived ;) ) and everyone could not stop talking about how great the amenities were! We loved sitting outside on the front patio area with a fire going (already set up for us, just had to light the wood) and the house is right along the creek which is pretty nice. Also, the house is walking distance from downtown which was a huge plus for us since we had a big group. Definitely recommend this house to anyone looking for a nice, clean house that is convenient!

  5 adults and one child enjoyed the space for four nights kitchen was stocked and some staples were supplied (always a plus!) bedrooms were comfortable and spacious Bree and Phillip did a great job setting up the place for us -- providing a crib for bub Set up the chiminea outside with wood -- we just had to light the fire! Phillip immediately responded to a plumbing issue in the downstairs bath. We never were able to have more than a lukewarm bath or shower, though, which was frustrating with a toddler. And the fireplace--- a gas line and logs waiting to be lit...confusing and we didn't attempt to light as we weren't sure if it was safe.

  Recommended for: Romantic getaway, families with teenagers, girls getaway, adventure seekers, sightseeing.

  We stayed at the creekside house for a long weekend to celebrate a local friends birthday. It was a perfect house for all the families and kids and we loved our visit. The house is close enough to downtown to walk and convenient access to freeway to get to other places quickly. The house is spacious and allowed for everyone to be in the large living room together or move to other areas of the house for a little reprieve from others. Bree was a wonderful owner/host and made sure our stay was fantastic. We will definitely return to this house. Thanks for everything.

  WE rented this house for three nights for my son's college graduation from Cal Poly SLO. It ws great. Very convinient to campus and downtown. great set up for the 8 of us plus one 11 month old. Woould definitely recommend it.

  The home is beautifully situated next to a creek and woodland area. Some noise from nearby highway but it didn't bother me. You feel like you're out in the country yet you're an easy walk into town. The house is very light, spacious and airy and has a newly updated kitchen and bathrooms with granite counters. Very clean and well maintained. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace/chiminea and patio area where we could sip a glass of wine and reflect on the day's activities. Hiking trails are within walking distance of the house, too. We had a small plumbing problem and when we called the owners about it, they had it fixed within two hours. They are eager to please and very, very nice people who want you to enjoy this wonderful retreat. I would definitely rent from them again and wouldn't hesitate to recommend the home to others considering a vacation in SLO. Recommended restaurant in SLO: Koberl Blue.

  We couldn't believe our luck - this house was perfect for our annual girls' weekend. Four bedrooms, a well-equipped kitchen, walking distance to downtown SLO for the Farmer's Market or dinner out, and ideally situated for touring some of the great local wineries in Edna Valley or on the idyllic Vineyard Drive off the 46 west. The house had everything we could want and more, and is beautifully decorated - we all came back with good memories, good wine and a few ideas on how we'd like to remodel our kitchens. Bree (the owner) is great - friendly and helpful, she welcomed us to the house, gave us a quick tour, answered any questions, then left us to enjoy our weekend. Needless to say, we look forward to returning.

  Other than our son's beautiful wedding at the Monday Club in SLO, this house was a highlight for our weekend. Bree allowed us to hold the rehearsal in the front patio area. After dinner in town, (just 5 minutes away) we returned to this spectacular house for desserts and a video presentation of the wedding couple. Our guests were awed by the beauty of the house, the artwork and the creek and grounds. During this hectic weekend, it was so restful to take our morning coffee outside and enjoy the serenity. The only problem was choosing which outdoor space to sit! Beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen and baths were spotless and had everything we needed. We would definitely stay here again with a few other couples, and enjoy the amenities next time (bar-b-que,decks, and chimnea).

  We rented the house for a week to attend a wedding in the area. The house is much nicer than the photographs suggest. Very comfortable for 3 couples, two children under 3 and a single guy. The owner, Bree, was great, and the house is clean and well stocked. The house is very close to a freeway on and off-ramp, but remarkably quiet. Other than the need to be very careful backing out of the driveway, it posed no problem. Well located near the heart of downtown San Luis Obispo.

  Two families recently stayed at this house for a soccer tournament. The house was everything that was described in the ad. We had plenty of room for both families to spread out and enjoy ourselves. The location was perfect for us. Both Avila and Pismo Beaches were just mere miles away. We walked to downtown San Luis Obispo for the Farmers Market on Thursday. That is not to be missed. Bree was very welcoming and showed us everything we needed to know about the house. The extras for the beach were a real bonus. The rooms were very comfortable and the appliances were updated and easy to use. Having shampoo and conditioner and a hairdryer were added bonuses for us. We loved having smores on the patio. It was a real treat for our kids to have some beach time before school started again this year. Thanks Bree for a great stay. We would definitely recommend this house for anyone looking to stay in the area. We will be back!!! Cheryl Jensen
