This apartment is located just minutes away from the walled city. The decor is chic and fits multiple guests comfortably. The view overlooking the Caribbean while relaxing in the private hot tub on the balcony is an experience hard to find in the overrun touristy spots of the city. The maid, Amalfi, comes daily and is willing to cook traditional Colombian meals. Great view, great location, great price! The owner is also a pleasure to deal with. He answers all of your questions in an expedient manner and is willing to work around complex international schedules. If traveling to multiple locations in Colombia, the owner also has a brilliant apartment in Medellin.

Hard for me to add anything . The apartment is spectacular. You can feel like you are floating above the water. I can't think of anything it is missing. The beds are comfortable, the tvs are great, Both local and USA telephone is great and the WiFi is fast and reliable. The maid (Amalfi) keeps the place spotless and is more then willing to do extra things . (Just remember to give her a nice Tip) My only disagreement with some of the reviews is the Pizza Restaurant that is down stairs. We thought at best the food was mediocre and very over priced. I had meals in beautiful restaurants in the Old City that were much better , in far better surroundings and similarly priced. Taxis are cheap to the Old City at $2-$3 and plenty of choices for where to dine or drink. I do think if you don't speak Spanish it would be helpful to have some cards printed with directions to give to the Taxi drivers. My friends spoke Spanish and still they had to direct them to the building. But once you have made the trip you can probably tell the taxi drivers to just go to the ocean and head for the airport and tell them when to stop.

I stayed in this penthouse in december 20th to the first the only way i can escribe this place is wow the owner was quite helpful in every manner he has bikes there that you can take to the old city which is only three minutes away. I had a new years dinner there and everybody was amazed by the vews and the jaccuzi I maen life doesnt get any better nice bottle of wine ur female partner jaccuzi in the balcony I will certanly rent from him again cant wait ti get back there he even arranged a boat to go to the islas del rosario a must

back in september of 2011 we were invited to a wedding in Cali, as we didnt want to spent all our time there I decided to go back to my birthplace....started looking for a place in Cartagena but it was difficult because no one wanted to rent for less than a week....and then I found Ignacio who was willing to do it for a little more money....we accepted since the apartment looked so beautiful on the website........We were two couples and our adult daughters..We arrived on Jan 02,2012, at 10am, little early for our check in, but had spoken to Ignacio, who happened to be in the apartment and ready to depart for the US..Ignacio and Johana thank you so much for letting us drop all our stuff while you were still there.........Apartment is gorgeous, Amalfi and her friend made me all the foods I had not eaten in 26 years, thank you....Amalfi always concerned about our well being and anything we needed she was ready to get... Ignacio, thank you for recommending the restaurant downstairs Pizza and Pasta, if you wouldnt have had recommended it I dont think we would have gone...The best fried fish ever, but some had pasta and said it was good also.......... Definitely three nights was not enough, cant wait to go back............Adios Cartagena....See you soon..................I could go on and on, the place is beautiful.....plan your trip to Cartagena and stay at this location

Just wanted to say that this penthouse/loft was amazing. The views from the balconies were amazing you get a great view of the endless ocean and another great view of the city especially with the sunrise its wicked. Also great service from our maid elmalfi made sure we were fed had clean clothes and most important that our place was clean. To those who are interested in this place it was so good that we got it for a couple days more than i intended for.

I stayed at this property for 3 amazing nights with my friends. We were blown away by the layout and design of the space. It was more than enough room for the four of us. You can tell a lot of time has been invested in making the guest feel as comfartable as possible. The maid, Amalfi was so nice and caring towards us. She is also an amazing cook! The building is very secure which was very important for us. The beach is literally across the street and you are only a few minutes away from the old city. If we had a question, communication with the owner was extremely fast which was so helpful. Thank you so much for an amazing experience. Will definitely return!

WOW, Are there enough words to explain how nice this place is. How about outstanding, or incredible or maybe just beautiful. This Penthouse is unbelievable the views are unforgettable the location is perfect. You could not be more centrally located, everything is close by. I would recommend a great restaurant called Club de Mar nice place for a couple or family. The restaurant right next to the condo is great as well. Our maid was also a great cook she made us some amazing breakfasts as well as great natural fruit drinks.If you chose not to rent a car as we did, Taxis are always around. As far as the owner / property manger they are the best. We have traveled to Colombia before and cannot wait to return. Ignacio and Johanna are the best. They go out of their way to take care of you. There is a billboard in Bogota airport that's says the only thing to worry about in Colombia.You will not want to go home. That is the truth, what a beautiful country what a beautiful place. Next stop Medellin

The owner made every attempt to provide the little details which make this beautiful Penthouse even more enjoyable. iPod docks in every room, laptop computers with free Internet , free bikes and free calls to the US, maid service included etc. etc. The owner was easy to work with and made this a turn key experience. We will be back!
