APARTMENT OVERVIEW
In early 2011 this lovely apartment was transformed by a group of Parisian Designers and Artist.
You will find this as a unique experience as it resembles a small house! We fondly call the apartment “The BOULANGERIE HOUSE” and it is located on the ground level of an authentic 19th century Parisian building. It is a one bedroom and will accommodate 2 persons, 215 square feet.
LOCATION & EASY ACCESS FROM THE AIRPORTS
The Boulangerie House is located in the heart of Paris, in the very trendy “Grands Boulevards” Area, in the 10th district. (almost at the intersection of the 2nd, 3rd, 9th and 10th districts).
Close by is the Rue Montorgueil, Canal Saint Martin, Opera & Galleries Lafayette department stores are 10 to 15 minutes walking distance. Best of all you are 2 minutes walking distance from Bonne Nouvelle Metro Station, which is line #8 to Champs Elysees and Eiffel Tower.
We are located approximately 1 hour (either by taxi or public transportation) from CDG Airport. If taking a taxi it will cost you 50 €. Another way to reach us is by public transportation: Take Roissy Bus till Opera station, then take metro line 8 till Bonne Nouvelle station. It will cost 10 € / person.

We had a lovely time at the Boulangerie House. It is exactly as pictured in the photos--compact and efficient. The bed is super comfortable and terrific after a long day of walking around Paris. Christophe is an excellent host and we appreciated his tour of the neighborhood when we arrived. His suggestions for a bakery and wine and cheese shops as well as recommendations for local restaurants were great.Recommended for: Sightseeing, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: Merci Ellen for taking the time to write this objective review. Best to you and your family. Chris

I highly recommend staying here!! It's such a lovely neighborhood, Brasserie Flo was fantastic! It was also incredibly close to the Metro station and is also walkably close to some of the bigger attractions of Notre Dame & the Louvre. It was nice and quiet and the bed was so comfortable!! The WiFi was dependable as well. Christophe was fantastic and showed us around the neighborhood a bit when we checked in. The only suggestions I would have for this place would be to maybe bring some extra towels (hand/wash cloth), only a dish towel & two bath towels were provided as well as some slippers because the tile floor got a bit cold (but I'm sure that's only a problem in the colder months). The apartment is absolutely charming, I'm sure I will be staying there again on my next trip!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: Merci Anne for your sweet review that will help other travelers for sure. Just for other travelers info, in the basement of the flat there is a reserve of large, small and tea towel that you can take if you need some more. And it is free of charge of course. Warm regards. Chris

We had a very positive experience with this property. It looks just like it did in the pictures, and it is conveniently located right next to the Metro. Christophe was great to work with; he even took time to show us around the neighborhood and point out good places to eat, buy wine, etc. I would highly recommend it!!!!Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: Merci John, I am glad you had a great time at the Boulangerie House. All the best to you & your family. Chris

We stayed at the Boulangerie House for six nights in Jan. Though the weather outside was very cold, the flat was cozy and warm. It has a great location in the Grand Boulevards district. It is just a few minute walk to the Metro. We used the Metro a lot because of the cold temps. Had the weather cooperated and been warmer we probably would have walked to more of the nearby attractions. Chris, the owner, met us at the flat and explained how things worked in there. He then took us on a tour of the neighborhood. It was very beneficial. We had a great stay.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: Merci Sandy for your cute review ! I hope to see you again. All the best. Chris

My daughter and I enjoyed 6 days in the Boulangerie House recently. The location of the apartment is quite good for exploring Paris on foot or by metro. You have access to several different metro lines within a very short walk. We enjoyed the neighborhoods mix of shops and restaurants and loved the Choco-Story museum that was right around the corner. We visited the Juhles stores several times (for pastries, bread, cheeses and wine) and enjoyed a fun dinner at Brasserie Flo - which is on a cute little street nearby. The bed was comfy and the apartment was very warm, despite cold temperatures outside. The apartment is small, but very functional and easy to live in. As noted by others, the ceiling in the loft is low, so you do have to stoop when walking to and from the bed. This was not a problem for us at all, but should be noted in case it might be for others. The wi-fi worked great and there was always plenty of hot water. I would absolutely stay in this charming little gem again!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway.
Owner response: Dear Sally , Thank you for your cute review. I hope to see you again. Take care. Chris

The Boulangerie House is just the perfect place to stay in Paris! In a trendy neighborhood, close to the subway and with very good bars and restaurants around, this small studio is well equipped and maintained. Everything works just great and my husband and I loved every single moment of our stay. Talking about the owner… well, Chris is the type of person you want to meet at least once in your life. Very friendly, walked us around when we got there showing all the tips and good places to go. During the “reservation process” he was always there with his prompt answers and all I have to say is that everything went smooth and easy since the first time we decided to stay @ Boulangerie House… I strongly recommend!Recommended for: Adventure seekers, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: Ola Rita, que comentario legal !! thank you very much for taking the time to write it. I am very proud you had a nice stay. I wish you all the best, you are great people :-)

My husband and I quite enjoyed our time staying at The Boulangerie. We were met by the owner of the property soon after our arrival and given a tour of the premises(very clean and as depicted in the photos) and the surrounding area so that we would be aware of the places to shop for cheeses, breads, groceries and given recommendations on dining establishments. The location of the apartment is convenient to the metro and a nice walk into the downtown area. It was quiet. We found some very nice restaurants for breakfast and dinners close by. It is a safe neighbourhood and one that is striving for improvements. The bedroom has a low ceiling so it would not be good for people with back problems as one has to walk bent over to get into and out of bed. Overall, it was an accommodation that worked very well for us.Recommended for: Tourists without a car, age 55+.

The purpose of my Paris visit was to pretend I was a local for a week. Boulangerie House was perfect for me. In a neighborhood, yet close to most sites by foot and one block from a metro station. The studio was exactly as described, no surprises. Clean, comfortable queen bed, adequately appointed, free wi-fi, free laundry facilities, safe and lots of hot water. Christophe was friendly, professional and helpful from our first correspondence. After allowing me to check in early (much appreciated), he gave me a quick neighborhood tour, pointing out the best restaurants and bakery. Lucky Luciano has great pizza and I enjoyed my morning cafe creme at Aux 10eme. I'd recommend this place for single people or couples. C'est magnifique!Recommended for: Sightseeing, tourists without a car, romantic getaway, girls getaway.
Owner response: Dear Carly, thank you for your cute note. You were a very kind and respectuous host. I hope to see you again. Take care. All the best. Chris

The moment my friend and I stepped into this apartment, we felt in love instantly with this place. Not only it was cozy and warm and looked just like it was advertised, but also it made us feel at home. We almost forgot the reason why we came to Paris and wanted to stay in all day. The owner, Christophe, is a very kind and friendly person. He showed us the 'trésor cachée' in this area, which we found very interesting. If I could give more than five stars to rate this apartment, then I would gladly do it! This place made me longing for Paris more and more and I will definitely book this apartment again when I travel to Paris.Recommended for: Sightseeing, adventure seekers, tourists without a car, age 55+, families with teenagers, romantic getaway, families with young children, girls getaway.
Owner response: Merci Didi ! It was a real pleasure hosting you, you were warm, respectuous and so friendly. Thanks again for your present too :-) Take care. Chris
