Cedar Key has an abundance of all the things we love. We were welcomed immediately in the community and felt like we were home the first time we visited in 2008. This lead us to make friends that visited Maine and we returned to make this a special and permanent part of our lives. Great people, nice restaurants and super outdoor and ocean activities are all we need.

Cedar Key has a wonderful historical past with 2 small interesting museums, great fishing from the piers, shore or a boat. The abundance of sea birds, dolphins and fish species is amazing. Cedar Key is also home to some talented artists and interesting community activities as well.
