Huntsville house description
Begin your day relaxing in a Muskoka chair with morning coffee overlooking beautiful gardens as the sun rises at the front of the house or on the deck overlooking sparkling Bella. Open the double garden doors to the front deck and those to the screened in room. Breathe in the fresh air. Watch the hummingbirds at their feeder.
Once ready, spend the day on the dock at the lake....swimming, boating, kayaking, canoeing, or lazing in the hammock! Forget something??...ring the bell, someone will bring it down to you.
Time for a paddle....go west and you will find the most beautiful sandy beach north of the Caribbean. While you are enjoying the beach make sure someone has gone fishing for dinner. Bring your favourite trout recipe as you will need it. Have cameras ready for the 'catch' of the day. Cooks be sure to ring the bell when dinner is ready!
For those that are wanting to leave the water area, walking, jogging, biking are all available at the end of the driveway. Depending on the time of year you may be lucky enough to pick enough berries for a pie.
If you are wanting a game of golf we have several courses in the area catering to all levels. Try 18 holes at Deerhurst Highlands or perhaps ladies' or mens' nights at Grandview for 9 might be more to your liking.
Located on spectacular Bella Lake, we are just 25 minutes east of Huntsville and a short drive to amazing Algonquin Park.
A perfect day at Bella is crowned only by a perfect sunset. Our western view allows you to experience colours like you have never seen before. Cameras are a must.
If summer sun isn't for you there are three other seasons to be enjoyed in Muskoka. From mid September to end of October enjoy the magnificient autumn colours. Hike at our near by Limberlost Reserve only 10 minutes away. Enjoy an evening by your own 'camp' firepit.
Winter brings its own outdoor activities. We have a great sliding hill right beside the house. You can skate or make your own cross-country ski trails on the lake....be sure to take some hot chocolate along for the adventure. Professionally set trails are available at Arrowhead Provincial Park and Algonquin Park if you prefer. For the downhill enthusiasts, Hidden Valley Ski Resort is only a 20 minute drive.
Our lake home is a fully furninshed bungalow with walk out basement. The main floor features an open concept Great Room with wood fireplace and bookcases which house our entertainment centre and kitchen. The kitchen has had six 'cooks' working all at once! Sit down and relax at the granite island...enjoy the entertainment. Once everything is ready you can either dine at the 8 foot harvest table behind you or move into our formal dining room.
Behind the double doors, you will find the master suite with queen size bed. Relax in your ensuite and access the deck via your private door.......listen to the loons!
Downstairs you will find a similar family room with gas fireplace, entertainment centre and a piano. Off this room are three bedrooms, one with two double beds and the other two with one double each. There is a bathroom with slate shower. Around the corner you will find your access to the great outdoors.

Just returned home from this property. What a great place! There was nothing we didn't have a fingertips. Rosemary was a great owner to work with. Great communication from beginning to the end. The property is very homey which completely reflects it's owner. The property is very quiet with only the odd wild turkey passing by or chipmunk. This property has plenty of space to spread out. The town of Huntsville is well established and old Huntsville is fun to go exploring. Many treasures to find. We will visit again in the future.
