Welcome to Seabrook - secluded ocean front cabin with an open floor plan. Rough cut timbers and pine wood floors provide a very cozy feel. Outside the property has a covered screened in porch with a southern view of Racoon Cove with an outstanding vista of Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park. Cabin sits on the shore and provides water access for kayaking, and exploring Raccon Cove. Relax by a beautiful babbling brook in the back yard. The property is also centrally located in Lamione and is close to all of its amenities, just 1 1/2 miles from Marboro Beach, 1/2 mile from freshwater swimming at Bloomfield Park on Blunt's Pond, and 3 miles from Lamoine State Park, and Lamoine Beach. All saltwater sites provide boat access to Frenchman's Bay. Both portions of Acadia, (Mount Desert Island and the Schoodic Pennisula), and Bar Harbor are within a 15-20 minute drive. Ellsworth is within 10 mins for easy access to groceries, gift shops, restaurants, movies, and even LL. Bean.

A short walk down to the shore provides water access for kayaking, and exploring Raccon Cove. Rent both properties and save $100.00 on each rental.

Our family absolutely loved the serene setting and peaceful grounds. The open layout of the cabin is great for spending time together and had everything we wished for. The big table is perfect for evening card games and the screened porch was a favorite place for the grandparents to lounge. The cabin is perfectly situated to spend your days in Acadia park and nights relaxing together. There is even a swing in the back by the creek for your little one to enjoy. Our six year old discovered a crocodile lurking in a pool of water in the yard - she hid it again for another explorer to find. We enjoyed watching a black bear sun himself on the adjacent shore. Deer and turkey were also frequent visitors. The seaside cabin was the perfect retreat for tired parents. While it is equipped with cable TV - the view is absolutely amazing, why spend time watching anything else. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will return again.Did you find this review helpful? We had a wonderful time at your cabin it was very cozy and welcoming. Our favorite thing to do was make out tea in the morning and go out on the screen porch and enjoy the beautiful view. The cabin is a very nice place very private and makes you feel right at home. We would come back up again this time maybe in the summer .Our dogs loved going swimming in the stream and the ocean was very enjoying and relaxing. Everything about our stay was perfect! The cabin itself is beautifully situated and maintained - the picture do not do the place justice. Even in the middle of a Maine winter this place was paradise! All appliances are new and top of the line. Household basics like laundry detergent were included and greatly appreciated. The yard was beautifully landscaped and pathways lighted and maintained - good for small children or anyone who is unsteady on their feet. We can't wait to return in the summer to enjoy the ocean side cabin and screened porch! The house was decorated with a Christmas tree and was the perfect retreat while visiting family for the holiday. Our one regret is that we couldn't stay longer. This is a perfect spot for anyone who wants to get away and enjoy what Maine is about. The location, cabins and scenery are all perfect. My wife, myself and our dog had an amazing stay in Lamoine during June! The property was so nice... we BBQ'd, used the fire pit, took the canoe out into the cove, enjoyed sitting by the water and even saw a bald eagle. It was a great destination for daily trips into Acadia and Bar Harbor. Nate & Becky were very hospitable... we will surely be back in the future!Did you find this review helpful? The cabin was very clean and everything was as described. The fact that there was no internet connection was a plus, perfect time and place to disconnect and take a break. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by the owner, who was very helpful and told us where everything was. This property is in the middle of a forest and next to the ocean. We d.rove all day from Maryland. We were in such need of a restful vacation. We drove arund the winding road and through the driveway and were so elated. The picture didnt do the cabin justice. The cabin was spotless and everything We could think of was there. The beds were comfy and clean, even in the bonus cabin. We had a charming pit fure at night under the stars. Our dog , Diana was welcomed at the cabin and that was a true blessing. She had the best time of her life. The views were amazing and we didnt turn on the tv all week. We rode bikes, explored the town and went to neighboring Bar Harbor for lobster. We also cooked some fresh at the cabin. We will come again for sure.
